The cottage is family-owned and is located in beautiful and peaceful surroundings next to Medalfellsvatn Lake with spectacular views over the lake. The cottage is located near Reykjavi­k, about 30-40 minute drive from Reykjavik. It is ideally situated amongst Iceland's most popular attractions. Many of the attractions are within 1 one-hour drive from the cottage, e.g. the Þingvellir National Park, which is on the way to Gullfoss and Geysir. Hot tub available upon request for €15 per day.

Easy access from main road. Bed-linen and towels included. The cottage has a nice small kitchen with a dining table, sitting room, one bathroom with a shower and 2 bedrooms. Big porch facing south with BBQ and outdoor furniture.
