Home was warm and welcoming and Tara and Oskar were responsive and kind hosts.

We loved our stay at this house! Spent two nights in Reykjavik and this was a great spot to walk to everything. Neighborhood felt safe, we let our teens walk home at night by themselves. House was adorable, everything as described and very comfortable. Loved the character and charm of an older home! Bjorn was responsive and I would stay here again. Thanks!

The house was spacious, clean , tidy and we felt at home. All amenities and description were the same as in the advertisement in air B&B. Nice neighbourhood and easy to walk to the supermarket although we had a car. Definitely recommend to others Kjartan was a great host before and during our stay . Iceland is a lovely country.

Nice house in in good area, a lot of space and light. Many games and toys for kids! 10 min by walk to the bus terminal.

Karen’s location was extremely nice. Very cozy and well stocked in terms of amenities and living needs. Good selection of spices too!

Great house, very clean and easy to find. Host was extremely quick in replying and helpful. Would recommend as a base if exploring Rekyavik and south Iceland!

This flat is very comfortable (the Icelandic know how to insulate and keep warm - which we gratefully noted as we live in a draughty Victorian house!) and very well fitted and maintained. Pretty much perfect. Lloyd and Raggi were welcoming and helpful and had left a few treats in the fridge which was nice :) They left us to ourselves but were quickly responsive when we had a query. They live in the flat below and met us on arrival there which was helpful. The area is residential and quiet but very close to the central exciting bits of Reykjavik - just five mins walk. Five mins in the other direction you can get to the path around the coast and a black sand beach. So, perfect for us really as we were there for Airwaves. They told us of a local pool which we went to everyday - it was great. There's a local bakery and cafe near the pool, but there's all the stuff in town in the other direction too. Easy access to airport - use Flybus stop 1 at City Hall Much recommended.

Fantastic place to stay near the Old Harbor in Reykjavik. Hildur and Arnar were always responsive and went out of their way to allow us to check-in early after an overnight flight. The apartment was great and gave us plenty of space to relax and enjoy ourselves between outings. We would definitely stay here again!

We enjoyed our stay at Einar's. The apartment had everything we needed including some toys for my 2 year old. The big windows and balcony overlooking the park were perfect for aurora watching, we saw it twice during our stay at Einar's in February.

We really enjoyed our stay. The apartment was large and had the amenities we needed to prepare our meals. There is a small grocery store in walking distance that we went to twice. John was clear with instructions and provided lots of tips about the area. There were ample cleaning, paper products and toiletry supplies. We felt very safe and comfortable staying there.

Hosts were very friendly and accommodating. They met us with the key and instructions and gave a quick tour. The house is an upstairs apartment with the hosts living downstairs. There is a small washer and dryer in the garage that they let us use. Downtown Reykjavik and the rainbow road is just a short straight walk. This house is in a great location for viewing Reykjavik. All in all it's a great location and wonderful hosts!

Highly recommend!! Amazing location, close to everything! We walked everywhere. We never had an issue finding a spot to park the few times we drove to explore. The apartment itself is beautifully decorated, spacious, and very clean! Hordur is a fantastic, kind host with quick response time and great recommendations. The check-in process was very easy, and the apartment was easy to find. Very quiet and private. We really enjoyed our stay here! :)

We had a wonderful time staying here. Easy check in, excellent location, and very well equipped. Within walking distance to shops, groceries, coffee shops, restaurants, and nearby attractions. Even a little playground a block away! Halldor and Tota are great hosts, very friendly and responsive. We liked the Hygge coffee shop a block away; and loved Halldor’s suggestion of going to the nearby Vesturbæjarlaug swimming pool/public spa after our red eye flight and before we could check in (although they let us in early).

Unbelievable location. Hronns home is extremely clean and very comfortable. You could not get a better location in the city, it was central to everything. You can walk to all the best bars and restaurants. There is a market right across the street to get whatever you need. We felt right at home and it was a great place to come back to after long tours. The included parking space was so convenient and saved me money on parking. The place is impeccably decorated and the bed was really comfortable. Hronn and Siggi are very warm, welcoming, and lovely people. I accidentally locked myself out and they answered my call immediately to help me. They also go out of their way to provide helpful information about the area in a convenient pamphlet left on the counter.. These are truly great people and I am already planning my next trip back. I can honestly say I would not stay anywhere else in Reykjavik as long as this place is available.

We had a great time. Appreciated the flexible checkin/checkout with lockbox, local tips, and great communication. Cute place with everything we needed. It was just as described and worked well for our family.

This was the perfect place to stay for a quick vacation to Reykjavik! Really nice location with ocean views, 2 balconies, very close (driving) to main areas/ downtown. Some stores and restaurants in walking distance. Host was very flexible and responsive. Would definitely stay again!

My family and I stayed here for Christmas and New Years! The location was perfect for going in and out of town to look for the northern lights and still close to the city center for shopping! Hradnildur also gave us a list of recommendations which helped us find the hidden gems!

Hurnd and Davio’s place had a modern Scandinavian flair and it came with a well equipped open kitchen which connects to a dining room where 6-8 people can dine comfortably. The living room is so cozy as well and there were unblocked view for sunrise and sunset everyday, we really enjoyed our time experiencing Icelandic nature and there are also some outdoor seatings to get some fresh air. There were the two of us staying this time and the main purpose was for work. As we had some free time we did make use of the #14 bus which is just 2 mins walk from the apartment and runs to the city center and big church. The grocery is also just 15 mins walk away. Hrund even left us a personal message and she ensured our stay was hassle free with explanation of how the trash is sorted. The toilet was really nicely designed too and you can always count on the geothermal water coming out from the tap for a nice hot shower. We would definitely stay with Hrund and Davio again in the future!

Wir könnten nicht glücklicher sein. Es war für uns der letzte Stopp unserer Winterreise und die Gemütlichkeit der Unterkunft hätte uns fast nicht mehr nach Hause fliegen lassen. Die Wohnung ist noch schöner als auf den Fotos und das einfache Leben durch die unmengen an Gewürzen, Tees, Kaffee hat das entspannte Erlebnis abgerundet. Man sollte keine Schwierigkeiten mit (wenn auch kurzen) steilen Treppen haben. Für uns eine ganz klare 10/10! Wir kommen gerne wieder, sollten wir nochmal nach Island reisen. This property was excellent. A great location, only a few minutes walk from the main streets of town and a short walk to the other side of the city. The flat is well furnished and had everything we needed for our stay. I’d definitely recommend the property. Thanks Gunnar!
