Ed and Jacquie’s place was exactly what we needed. We were on a road trip moving some stuff and towing a trailer, so finding a private, safe spot where we didn’t have to unload everything was a big deal. Their property was perfect, and the pull-through driveway made it super easy to get in and out with the trailer. On top of that, Ed and Jacquie were incredibly kind and welcoming. Honestly, some of the nicest hosts we’ve ever had. The property was peaceful and relaxing, with a creek out back, and the house itself was cozy and comfortable. We felt right at home. I only wish we could have stayed longer! If you’re in the area and need somewhere to stay, definitely stay here. We’d come back in a heartbeat.

We had such an incredible time at Eric and Heather’s lovely home. The house was incredibly comfortable, clean, spacious and had everything we needed. The location was perfect allowing us quick access to the restaurants in Trinidad but also as near enough to Sue-Meg that we went every day to hike, explore and play on the beach. Hot tub was so fun for the kids and we adults appreciated the constant coziness of the fireplace and the many pillows and blankets . We were a group of 8 (4adults and 4 kids) and had more space than we needed. Heather and eric were super responsive to every question we had and we absolutely loved being in the gorgeous space they have created. Many thanks!

This home was beautiful and had all we needed. The yard is beautiful and has a great place to sit and enjoy the wonderful Spring weather in Redding. The host was quick to respond and helpful when I needed it. Parking was easy and it had a great location for what we needed during our stay.

Incredible location/view, and the house is really beautiful, luxurious, and its obvious someone put a lot of thought and care into the craftsmanship of the small details. We really appreciated both the extra features like the pizza oven, sauna, hot-tub, etc., and the well equipped kitchen that seemed to have everything we needed to feel at home.

Can’t say enough about the gorgeous and lush grounds on the property. It was very peaceful, felt safe and secluded. We and our dogs enjoyed the hike to the creek, though it’s a bit steep/slippery for anyone with mobility issues. The main house was perfect and cozy. We loved the living room fireplace and it cranks out the heat. The kitchen is large and has everything you need to make meals at home. Lots of nice touches with coffee grinder, soda stream, and pizza stone. The washer/dryer is a great bonus too. The yurt and sauna are a short walk from the house, all bonus spaces are spread out from main house. The sauna was worth it and we loved the window to the trees. The hot tub is on the main house so even with stormy weather we still enjoyed it. Hosts are so responsive and nice. The office/gym, was in a separate building yet close to the house. Like most country living, there were some ants in the bathroom and bedrooms. None in kitchen thankfully and not a big deal.

They provided Coffee and I’m sucker for free coffee. Thank you! Also all the cooking supplies you could need to bake or cook anything

The place is in a nice quiet neighborhood close to downtown and the freeway for easy access to get around. The instructions to get into the home worked great, and the host was very responsive. When we arrived we checked the hot tub and it was set at 104 but the temp was 90°, we have it a couple hours and it hadn't gone up in temp, we messaged the host and he said he could be over in 5 mins and he was there very quickly which was amazing. He added some hot water and told us how to do it if it dropped again. Worked great after that with some help. Love the amenities in the game room since it was raining when we stayed, would love to stay when the weather is better to play outside.

We had an absolutely idyllic 4 day stay at Erin's home. The setting is absolutely stunning. Erin was accommodating and flexible. We were a full 13 adults with another family coming for dinners to celebrate my mother's 100th birthday. The kitchen was very well stocked. We had all we needed to cook a Thanksgiving feast. We would definitely book again in the future.

Enjoyed a relaxing Thanksgiving with extended family. Great kitchen and multiple living spaces gave us room to spread out. Gorgeous winter views of Grizzly Peak and fun to watch the ducks in the pond. Pac Man machine and pool table were a huge hit. Hosts were very responsive and welcoming. We hope to return!

The Gem is beautiful. Incredible views, lovely home, comfortable beds and the hot tub/pool are a nice bonus. Only about 10 mins to Ashland and 30 to Mt. Ashland. Erin was very helpful and communicative. We hope to come back in summer time!

Clean, comfortable, quiet, easy to find. In a neighborhood that was quiet in winter. Hot tub worked well!

My friends reserved another one of Pauline's cabin alongside my reservation of this cabin so we could have a birthday celebration. The space was perfect! My friend group is already trying to think of possible times to have another get-together here! The bed was more comfortable than my bed at home, and I was (and still am!) very charmed by all the little design touches that really elevated the space in the cabin. It is a truly magical place!

Awesome place, we really enjoyed our stay! The kitchen had everything we needed and the bed was super comfy. We wanted to get away for the weekend and this place was great!

A wonderful retreat amongst the redwood trees. We very much enjoyed this peaceful and beautiful place. We were able to relax and enjoy the surroundings and very clean and beautiful house.

the place was really nice and cool ! clean ! the barbecue and fireplace comes really handy ! the heater was very good cause the night i went there it was raining so bad and it was cold ! i was able to make the place warm in less than an hour ! overall i think they really do deserve a 5 star .

Wendy & Alan are very responsive hosts who provide a sweet little getaway in the woods. Everything we experienced matched the description and photos we were provided. This stay is absolutely worth the asking price. **** For dog-owners : they warned us about the deer (which there was many of) but we also experienced many off leash dogs roaming around. Please be careful with your furry friends and stay alert ****

My family and I enjoy this cabin by the sea so much! We have stayed here several times and just love it! It’s very cozy and we feel right at home when we are there.
