everything was excellent, place was nice and clean, calm and therapeutic surroundings, host was very responsive with the questions and assistance when needed!

The only minor drawback of the house is that it’s on the 4th floor(no elevator), and I noticed a bit of dust on the wall fan. However, these are easily outweighed by the many positives that make this stay well worth the money. The location is private and beautiful, with easy access to Janda Baik, Genting, and other attractions. The house itself feels like a home—cozy, well-equipped, and thoughtfully furnished with everything you could need, including a water filter, kitchen utensils, a fridge, a microwave, and more. The host is also incredibly responsive, ensuring a smooth and pleasant experience. Highly recommend!

Fantastic peaceful farm retreat for city folks and educational trip for kids. Ris is great host from the communication & ensuring we feel most comfortable entire stay. Thanks for allowing me and kids to check-in early to max out our weekend. We were welcome with durians & rambutans & the sounds from the river, chirping birds, colorful butterflies , total serene! Pristine house condition, definitely contributed by the strict rules imposed, which we don’t mind coz it is basic common sense. We love hearing the history of Aman Dusun & the farm tour by Aziz. Happy tummy form the scrumptious meals we had during our stay. First time drinking goat’s milk and it tasted sooooo good! The greek yoghurt from goats milk was delish with fruits and cempedak goreng served was delish. Both adults and kids enjoyed our stay which happens to be the fruit season, thanks again for letting us enjoy the mangosteen, duku, and others during the stay.

We had a great stay at 1858 Semungkis. The hosts was very responsive and thoughtful, making sure we had everything we needed. The house and amenities were excellent and the bedrooms were clean with no strange smells. The main house is spacious, giving our family plenty of room to gather. The karaoke set was a fun bonus. We had a great time in the river at the backyard. The late checkout was an added value, giving us more time to relax and enjoy the place. We also enjoyed plucking fresh herbs from the garden for our cooking. Thanks for such a wonderful experience, we will definitely return and highly recommend this place to others.

This beautiful old-style house was perfect for a peaceful escape. The surrounding garden was stunning and made for a great place to relax. We especially loved having a barbecue outdoors! The owner was very friendly and clearly takes great care of the house. It was clean, well-maintained, and exactly as described. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a cozy and charming stay!

Great place to relax and unwind my mind from busy week from work. Second time here but stayed in different cabin. My wife and daughter really love this place.

Vincent is extremely responsive and very patient with all our queries. We had some issues with the number of guests who are not decided on staying but Vincent was ok to accommodate the additional requests with short notices (apologies for the changes!). Otherwise the place is comfortable, and is located within a durian orchard. For those who are weary of bugs (nothing harmful), this place does come with its share of nature, esp at the open kitchen/social space on the ground floor. One thing to note, this place may not be suitable for guests who are not able to do stairs, as the Karaoke & living room & 4 bedrooms are on the 1st floor. There are bedrooms in the second villa which are ground level, but they are in a separate block. Overall, great space, good host & easy to navigate location & check in.
