I gave a 5-star review because I truly loved the house, especially the large windows, amazing master bathroom, back porch area and hottub, location and the small touches like paper towels, trash bags, toilet paper, laundry and dish soap, etc. Walmart is 1/2 mile away. We did have an issue with the thermostat, however it was taken care of. My main concern was that I was traveling with my 73 year old Mother. I was not aware of all the stairs in the home. Upon entry there is a huge set of stairs to get to the living, dining, kitchen and main floor restroom. Once on the main floor, there are two more sets of stairs that take you to the bedrooms on the upper level. My Mother ended up sleeping in the recliner most of the time. This was actually the first time I stayed in a Airbnb that had recliners in the living room, they were great! Overall, we enjoyed our stay and the price was lower than most in the area considering the size of the home and the amenities. I would stay again!

A lovely trip away from everything, the Treehouse cabin made it very easy to have a relaxing and cozy stay. With the 25 min drive from anything, no reception or wifi, we recommend that future guests pack as though you’re camping (bring food to cook, headlamp, coffee, books and non-electronic entertainment). Had our portable speaker to listen to music and drown on the creaks from the wind outside but the house has a lot of character, and we were able to enjoy ourselves with all that the treehouse cabin had to offer. The power went out on our 2nd night but one of the property helpers, Jeremy, came up to check on us and gave us a couple of jugs of water, which was thoughtful of him. Such a unique and memorable experience.

Wonderful large house! The kitchen was amazing - big, stocked very well, and had a bar and 4 bar stools so we all could socialize while preparing meals. Loved the hot tub with lots of beach towels to go with. White Salmon is a great little town. We decided to stay an extra night, and it was not a problem! I would definitely stay there again!

We enjoyed the size of the home and that it was large enough to accommodate our extended family for meals. Peaceful yard with plenty of seating. Large table in dining area for our meals. Great place to get together to celebrate family.

We have been here a few times before and loved it! This was out third time staying here and it is starting to feel like home to us. Quiet, peaceful and a view of the Columbia River...what more could you want? I come here partly because of the close proximity to some great wineries, but also for the solitude. It is well-appointed and has everything we need...kitchen...sauna...hot tub...and a really nice deck out back! There is nothing quite like sitting on the deck, sipping great wine, and watching a flock of turkeys stroll by. Jodine was very accommodating when we decided to stay for a fourth day....all at the last minute, but not a problem! VERY cool ! I'm sure we will be staying here again soon. This was a very peaceful setting. Enjoyed the wildlife and sitting on the back deck looking at the stars. Sharon our host was very friendly and accomodating,

The house was very comfortable; spacious; offered guests a variety of seating areas (inside and out); very relaxing; felt like being home. The neighborhood was quiet; could even hear the crickets! The house amenities met guests needs. The kitchen was well appointed with cooking needs. One guest said the coffee maker made some "good coffee". The home is well situated for touring the area; nothing was too far away. Shops, restaurants, wineries were easily accessible.

Quaint cabin close to ice caves, XC skiing and hiking. The beds were comfortable and the jetted tub healed our sore muscles. We loved it! Clean, comfortable and cozy. It lives up to its name of “Cozy Cabins.” Our dog felt right at home and enjoyed his free treat. Thank you, Chrissy and Brock!

Lisa’s place was such a great getaway from “real life.” The view is fantastic, the property and its surroundings are gorgeous, and the little cabin itself has its own charm to it. What a pleasure to have stayed here. Can’t wait to come back again one day!

The house had everything we needed and was very comfortable

We had a lovely three night stay at Bruce's Airbnb. It was just as described and very roomy. The kitchen was the highlight, as we are all avid cooks. It had everything we needed including pots and pans, spices, olive oil, coffee, etc. We cooked up a storm as it was quite rainy while we were there. We enjoyed the gas fireplace and played lots of games at the large kitchen table. The generous hot water and excellent water pressure was much enjoyed after a long XC ski. There was a large deck with both a gas and charcoal grill but we didn't use them because of the weather. Lovely views over the Gorge and Columbia river too!

Talia is a FABULOUS host. She is very honest, helpful, and very blunt about her listings to ensure nothing is sugar coated. Her instructions were easy to read, her kindness was palpable, and her location was absolutely soul-reviving for myself and my equally outdoorsy bestie. Loved the whimsical and beautiful location. Truly in my top 10 memories now with the weekend we had there. And we were even caught in a storm! Loved it. Can’t say enough great things about the experience or the host. Thank you Talia!

I loved my stay at Snowzie's! It's a beautiful, quaint cabin. I came alone- a treat to myself for my birthday! Exactly the peaceful, quiet retreat I was seeking. I loved waking up each morning in the plush bed, making coffee, and going for a walk along the river. There was even space for me to lay my yoga mat in the living room. Overall, I loved it, and I'd love to come back in the future. Also, Snowzie was the first Airbnb host to ever welcome me with a message when I arrived! Thanks so much.

Absolutely beautiful! The location cannot be beat. It is simply a peaceful and serene area. The drive there was amazing. Can't thank Emilee and Alex enough for letting us stay at their place!

Great location if wanting to explore the Columbia River Gorge or the hood river area. Wish we were here in the summer and fall so we could experience all the local fruit that grows in the area. Spring time is great to visit all the local waterfalls. The place has everything you need. The host was quick to respond and very friendly. It does not have an oven, but we never needed one. Lots of space for 2-3 people. They had the futon set up for us.

Such a cute place to stay for the weekend! Very quiet and easy to access all parts of Hood River. Highly recommend!

What a great place! Kristen was thoughtful and responsive about check in and we had a great weekend. We were near trails to hike on, wineries to visit, and spectacular sunrises. Would definitely return! Thank you.

Great location to all the restaurants downtown. We walked everywhere. Place a little dated but clean and lots of room.

Lyudmila and Jim are terrific hosts! We had a great stay at their condo in Hood River. The location is great - right on the main street of Hood River (Oak St.) located near all sorts of restaurants and shops - there's even a nice coffee shop right downstairs. The big windows allow you to look out over Oak St. and see the pretty shops below. The condo itself is spacious, well appointed, and very clean! The hosts are very communicative and friendly. We had a wonderful time at this property and will be back!

A charming first floor apartment under the host’s house. Everything is as described, well maintained and in great shape. Loved the polished concrete floor, comfortable furniture, and a well-equipped kitchen (appliances, pots, pans, dishes, knives etc. — plenty of, good quality, and in great shape, and even a choice of cooking oil, not to mention a selection of teas). For once we didn’t actually need our own cutting board and knife which we always pack and carry. We loved the original art as well. The view from the front bedroom is very nice. The house is at the edge of town in an upscale neighborhood, so very peaceful and quiet. The sound of dog’s claws on the floor upstairs was cute :) We had a great stay. The host was very gracious about our forgetting to start the dishwasher before we left.

We loved this place! It is said in a beautiful, quiet forest. You can walk out the back door and keep walking for miles. The place is cozy, but had what we needed. They’ve recently gotten Netflix and YouTube TV so we could watch our favorite shows and also the football game on Sunday. :-) Belinda, was very responsive and accommodating . We plan on staying here again!
