The house surpassed our expectations. Located off the main road and it feels really peaceful and private. We can hear the sound of the sheep almost all the time and our daughter loves it! Upon checking in, the host informed us that we'd be the first to enjoy a newly furnished furniture for the bedrooms which we thoroughly enjoyed. The fireplace was also a delightful touch, and the host was kind enough to leave firewood for us. We really felt at home and definitely will return. Thanks for hosting Hugh!

5 Crulivig is situated in the most idyllic of locations - nestled beside serene Loch Barraglom, surrounded by the wonderfully wild colour pallette of ochres, slate blues & hazey purples of the surrounding moorland. Together with all the animal wildlife, it makes 5 Crulivig an absolutely stunning place to be! The cottage itself is very well appointed, immaculately clean and delightfully cozy - just the ticket! Both John & Dolina were very friendly, generous and always on hand to answer any queries. All in all, 5 Crulivig is a fabulous spot from where to go on to explore the rest of the wonderful Western Isles.

What a slice of Heaven on Earth! Richard’s cottage provided a restful and peaceful retreat for myself - tucked away in Uig - but not so far away as to easily explore the entire island. I flew into Stornoway, stopped by the CO-OP for a few groceries initially but found the little store in Uig expansive as to its offerings and accommodated all my needs for the rest of the trip. The kitchen is perfect for meals at the cottage and the rest of the space very beautifully crafted and clean. All views in this cottage are stunning as well as the surrounding landscape. Richard was a lovely host, living nearby on the property as well but never felt intrusive and was quite accommodating. He was very helpful as to recommendations to enjoy during my visit. I will definitely be back to enjoy such an exquisite place!!!

Absolutely LOVED this place!! Beautiful view outside of the pod & so close to the Quiraing!! Can’t recommend this place enough, host was extremely helpful & responsive!

We had a great stay at Mairi’s place. It was perfectly situated for exploring the Isle of Skye. The place itself is very well equipped for a comfortable stay, we appreciated the space and the amenities, especially after being out all day exploring. The beds were comfortable, and it was in a very quiet area with a lovely outlook. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay again and recommend it to family and friends.

A fantastic stay! Incredibly well equipped space, my personal favorites, the wood burning stove and the Morphy Richard’s espresso maker!!! Waking up to sheep roaming right outside almost every window was simply amazing and very relaxing. Washer/dryer a plus; decor and design very nice throughout; secluded/quiet location; eco friendly amenities; nothing negative to say he, it was all great and exactly as expected! Pro tip, go to the Co-Op on the way and buy one bag per night of kiln dried logs. Thank you Karen!

A group of us stayed here for just over a week in August/September 2024 and it was absolutely fantastic. The house was very large, well furnished, and had a spacious kitchen and lounge areas. It had everything that we needed and I would certainly think of bringing my family back in the future! The total cost was very affordable. Truly excellent service.

What a fantastic house, it was everything it was promised and more! Gorgeous feel, everything is great quality and feels fabulous to spend time there, like a real home away from home, it had everything we needed. Very impressive and would stay again!
