This home was absolutely beautiful, clean and spacious. The kitchen was a dream and the bedrooms were perfect for our family. The lake (frozen when we were there) is really scenic. Everything was so cozy. I would highly recommend this stay for anyone looking for a place in the middle of all the action. Right between Anchorage and Hatcher Pass!

Allisons place was so beautiful! Everything was clean and we felt right at home. We loved sitting by the fire and listening to the loons. We were visiting our son who is in the Air Force and it was so nice to spend a few days with him in the peace and quiet. We used the canoe and kayak to go fishing and our son caught a pike. Thank you so much for allowing us to stay in your beautiful place!

We had a wonderful stay! Beautiful home in a great location. Highly recommend!

Nine of us stayed there for two nights to attend a wedding in Big Lake. While we were all related, there were five family units. There are three bedrooms, one bathroom and a living area on the floor as you enter and another bedroom and bath room upstairs on the same floor as the kitchen and living area. One single person slept on a sofa rather than pull out the sofa bed each night. Sleeping arrangements worked fine for everyone. The kitchen was well equipped, but we did no cooking since we were there for wedding festivities.

Wonderful, welcoming and helpful host! Everything was clean. They even had breakfast items left for us. So accommodating! And very close to the airport and restaurants in town.

If Alyeska is booked up or priced out of your range, consider a weekend at Peaceful Inlet Sanctuary. Peaceful, clean, scenic, and comes with a private hot tub. Check-in was easy, space was clean, hot tub...hot! It may become an annual trek across town to unwind and listen to the wind and the occasional airplane.

The home was in a central location of Anchorage. Not far from airport or downtown. Quiet neighborhood and nice yard. Home was old but nicely decorated and clean. Fit our needs at a good price.

Our second time here. No complaints, very comfortable and safe area. This home is very convenient to a gas station, grocery store, coffee shop, and some food choices. Not far from the airport or from Diamond area. There are a couple of fans in the closet. I would suggest adding an additional throw blanket and comforter to the closet. All of the windows and option of letting sunlight in is very nice. Some coffee was provided. Thanks! I will come again.

The house was well taken care of and very nice to stay in. Every sunrise and sunset was picturesque. The lake was beautiful and refreshing. Loved the opportunity to step away from life at home and relax.

Loved our weekend in this lakeside cabin. It was perfectly cozy and the view from the lake can't be beat! Perfect for 2-4 people for a weekend getaway. We hope to stay again sometime!

Very nice location if you want to get out of the city. Pretty drive back to the house situated at the bottom of a mountain. I loved the firepit and my girlfriend loved how aesthetically pleasing the decor and the inside and outside of the place was. I would definitely stay again. Great place if you plan to visit Denali or Matanuska and are wanting to stay within 45 minutes of Anchorage.

Kitchen was stocked with everything you’d need. Queen bed was very comfortable. Upstairs day bed was comfy as well. If you are looking for a quiet pristine place this is it! Was a bit further away from what we were doing but we weren’t entirely sure of what our plans were and this place seemed exactly what we needed. Overall great place!!

Lori was very kind and nice, she was very understanding with my last minute request for a room the same night. The house was really clean and well decorated. And her two dogs were just the sweetest. Would absolutely recommend her listing for anyone needing to say in the area.
