This was a nice and relaxing stay for our family. The house is clean and cozy. The pool exceeded our expectations. Our kids spent so much time splashing around. The owners were always responsive both before and during our stay. Highly recommend for a nice, quiet getaway!

Everything was perfect, no complaints the hot tub was really nice to relax and the staff on the campgrounds were super friendly.

We had an amazing time at Parker House! I am smiling so big while writing this review, because everything about our stay was perfect. The home is gorgeous inside and out- even nicer than in the photos. There were so many thoughtful touches and hidden surprises sprinkled throughout. It felt like stepping back in time, but in luxury! The kitchen was huge and bright and contained everything we needed to prepare meals. The grounds were incredible; despite a cold, rainy weekend there was still lots to explore- wildflowers, hidden fairy garden, log bridges, herping for snakes and salamanders, native birds, mushroom foraging, rope swings, cozy lights, etc! It was a fun treat to use the hot tub. We also used the Butcher's Block which was the perfect venue for a birthday gathering of ~30 people. It was fun looking at menus of previous supper clubs (we want to attend one!). I could go on, but apparently there is a character limit ;) Cannot recommend this place enough!

The place was super clean and just what we hoped for and expected. Only complaint and I guess it’s really not a complaint is we felt like there should have been an extra shower in the bathroom up stairs. We loved the convenience of it and so close to everything we like.

The home was very clean and organized. The kids had fun playing video games and basketball. They plan to return sometime. The adults loved it too. The rooms are well laid out. The made up beds were very inviting. The mattress! Yes, the mattress would keep you in bed all day. The supplies in the kitchen, the kitchen space, the living room and then the outdoors. There is a lot to say about every corner of the house. I can tell the host is very intentional with every design or set up in the house. We plan to revisit just to stay at the home and utilize the outdoors when the weather is warmer. Thank you Matthew for the early check in and late check out. Thank you for being available always. If you love comfort and luxury, this home is for you.

We had a very pleasant and comfortable stay. The house is in a convenient location that also happens to be beautiful, on the Muskingum River, with hills rising to the east and west. The kitchen was well equipped, the beds and couches comfortable, the house immaculate, and the hosts responsive to our requests. No complaints whatsoever.

Amazing Stay with Plenty of Space and Comfort! We had an incredible experience staying at this beautiful Airbnb! The house was absolutely stunning—well-kept, spacious, and incredibly comfortable. With 7 bedrooms, there was more than enough room for our entire group, and the large great room was perfect for hanging out together. The hot tub was a highlight, especially in winter, and the wood-burning fireplaces both inside and outside were such a cozy touch. The house was spotlessly clean, and we were pleased to find plenty of bath towels and fridge space to accommodate our needs. Everything was thoughtfully provided, and it made our stay so enjoyable. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a relaxing and spacious retreat!

This stay was absolutely wonderful and I would highly recommend this space for anyone, but especially for a larger group of people. A group of us got together for alumni weekend at Ohio State and Pete's location was perfect! The home is pristine and every detail has been considered. Our party of 10 all had a bed to sleep on and had plenty of privacy. The kitchen/living room space is the perfect gathering spot indoors. The outdoor space is truly magical! The pool and hot tub were essential for our stay (in late October) and the outdoor fireplaces were also great gathering spots. This home allowed us to visit and catch up without having to go out all the time for our trip. The location is perfect - it is close to OSU as well as the interstate if you need to get anywhere in Columbus. Pete was an outstanding host. He was responsive almost immediately if we had any questions and went out of his way to show us how to utilize more complicated things. I hope we can return soon!

This house is like a big (((hug)))! We were in town for tournament. The host was absolutely over the top with all good things! The house met all of our needs and more. We stayed in cold weather. The house was cozy and warm. The book collections that were available brought back a lot of old memories. Already booked for next years tourney :-)

I had an unexpected family emergency, Andy’s place was available, he understood the urgency of my need and helped me out quickly! It took what could have been a distressing time and made things much easier for me. I am grateful and will go back again if needed!

My boys stayed at The Burrow for a weekend and it was amazing! John was an exceptional host and the airbnb was very cozy and clean! It met all expectations and we will be staying here next time we are in town! 100% recommend if you are in the area!

Nanette’s place was lovely and perfect for our short stay visiting our son at Kenyon. The location is right next to campus and makes everything a little easier. We would definitely stay there again. Thanks, Nanette, for offering such a quality property in an area that has limited overnight options.

Very peaceful place

Drew’s home is in a beautiful setting and very quiet. It is short walking distance to Kenyon. We loved the natural light, comfortable beds, and well-stocked kitchen. A very easy place to stay if visiting Gambier.

Booking was all that was listed. Very convenient to get back and forth to Kenyon university campus which was main objective of visit.

The Blue Heron cottage was a great place to stay. Awesome open space. Beautiful view of the woods and very peaceful. I wish we had more time to actually relax. After moving the parents back to town it was a great spot to come back to after long days. Bedrooms were very comfy and very well laid out. Kitchen was exceptionally well stocked and perfect for anything you need. Hope to return soon.

very convenient/walkable to Gambier and Kenyon College

The house is exactly what we hoped for! It was clean and charming and a short walk to Kenyon. We look forward to staying again and again. It was perfect for our needs.

We just had the most relaxing winter getaway in Apple Valley! Everything was perfect - we felt so welcome at this lake retreat. The kitchen is fully stocked with cookware, coffee, and spices. We were able to keep the giant island stocked with snacks and meals without taking up valuable counter or table space. There are 3 generous and comfortable seating areas throughout the house - 2 on the main floor and another in the basement. It was easy to spread out and read, nap, etc. The view from the living and dining rooms were just fantastic. The large windows offer great views of the lake and neighboring community. Finally, I have to rave about the beds! The mattresses were so comfortable and we all slept so well! Thank you for helping us create a memorable weekend!

Great house for a stay and play weekend at Apple Valley GC. House is awesome and has plenty of amenities

We traveled to Ohio for a family wedding at Magnolia Hill Farm. Kristen's home was the perfect location (4 miles from the venue) for our family of 5. We had adult children coming in from across the country and the property had more than enough space for all of us. It was so nice to have a retreat close by where we could cook meals together and just hang out. Highly recommend and such a better deal than driving to a hotel 30 miles away.
