Deafening Silence is all that prevails! The only noise that may probably break the stillness of your profound meditation would be the chirpy hummingbirds or the whispering leaves in the refreshing cool breeze... ‘Humming Breeze’, earlier known by the name ‘Humming Birds’ is a sprawling 6-acre thickly wooded hillside property overlooking the magnificent Brahmagiri Mountain range. Situated about 6km west of Mananthawady town on Kannur road easily accessible by a motorable road, your home away from home is a delight for anyone who loves admiring nature in stillness. The property has a numerous variety of fruit-bearing trees and flowers carefully brought and nurtured by these wonderful nature-loving Property owners. The uniqueness of this resort building is its extremely spacious construction, utilizing some of the exotic heritage woodwork from across the Malabar region and some of the windows and doors in its construction were over 200 years old. My wife and I stayed here for 7 nights and I specifically wanted to try out a Work-from-Anywhere protocol on a trial basis. The double room that I stayed was very modern, spacious, airy, and had a breathtaking view of the Brahmagiri Mountain ranges. The property had great Wi-Fi connectivity and I did not miss even a single video call due to any bandwidth issues. Very homely simple Kerala Breakfast was served as part of the package, and the rest of the meals we cooked when we got time in their fully equipped industrial kitchen. The owners of the property were very responsive and were extremely supportive of our needs. Vipin the caretaker for the property was also very helpful, and was available every time we needed any assistance. It was a dreamlike experience to work and enjoy a lovely holiday at the same time, and I would highly recommend everyone to try out this experience at least once!

Bendheka is an absolute gem tucked away in the heart of Coorg! The drive up winds through stunning coffee estates, making the approach road a bit tricky, but once you arrive, it's pure magic. The cottages are beautifully designed—efficient yet spacious, offering a seamless blend of modern comfort and nature’s tranquility. Waking up to misty mornings, chirping birds, and breathtaking views is an experience in itself. The staff is incredible—warm, attentive, and always ready to help with a smile. Rishank and Pranalika are fantastic hosts, ensuring every little detail is taken care of. Whether you want to unwind with a book, explore the serene surroundings, or simply soak in the beauty of Coorg, Bendheka is the perfect retreat. Kodagu is stunning, and this cozy hideaway makes it even more special. If you're looking for a peaceful escape, far from the crowds, this is the place to be!

Bendheka Resorts should not be missed! Hidden in the hills of Coorg, we found the perfect weekend getaway. The room was gorgeous - it's clear that Rishank and his partner have thought about what his guests will need and have beautifully catered to them. Needless to say their staff were excellent and available for any of our requests - our favorite experience was setting up a small space outside our cottage to stargaze. There were a number of activities we enjoyed, but our favorite was the late night bonfire paired with homemade coffee wine. We cannot stress enough how much we enjoyed the food - compliments to the chef! It was truly a wholesome experience - waking up to the scenic view will be unforgettable. My partner and I wish we had the time to stay for a few more days! We will be back, hopefully very soon :)

Excellent experience in the middle of the forest and coffee crops, this environment was very peaceful. The accommodation was incredible, very spacious and pleasant, I really loved this atmosphere! In addition, the team is very kind and attentive, for the slightest need they were there. I recommend without hesitation this bucolic place !

Never had we stayed in a homestay before, but our stay at 4C’s little paradise was nothing short of magical. It was a great break from our daily monotonous life and staying in a cozy homely place away from home. The Rooms were clean, spacious, and well maintained and you cannot not fall in love with the old school vibe of the place.Special thanks to Aunty and Sharath for taking care of us like their own family and giving us the sweetest life lessons. The Food was amazing, the breakfast is not to be missed at all. We’re hoping to be back soon!

peaceful stay

It’s a beautiful place in between the nature but not far away from roadside as well. Staff is very helpful and polite. They will be helping you out with everything. Owners who fortunately we were able to meet are very friendly and made us feel at home. Food was amazing, very homely and light. Loved our stay there. Specially since due to a small health issue when we asked to change our room from free house to normal cottage it was arranged very swiftly with a small charge. Very grateful for that!! Special mention to Inji and Ramcharan. Inji is their in-house pet and is very sweet and loveable dog! Ramcharan is their caretaker who helped us all along and even took us on a short property tour which included a small lake. It’s a beautiful property worth the visit!!

An Idyllic Stay for Trekkers and Nature Lovers. (Host Dinesh is amazing Guy) Our two-night stay at this homestay in Somwarpet was incredible! Nestled at the base of Pushpagiri Hill amidst a lush coffee plantation, the location offers stunning 360-degree views, serene valleys, and proximity to Kumar Parvatha and Pushpagiri Wildlife Sanctuary. The spacious, impeccably clean rooms and beautifully designed house provided the perfect retreat. The food was delicious, featuring local flavors, and the fresh plantation coffee was a highlight. Evenings around the bonfire under a starry sky added magic to our experience. The host’s warm hospitality, thoughtful details, and helpful tips made our stay unforgettable. Centrally located yet private and peaceful, it’s an ideal spot for trekkers or anyone seeking tranquility in nature. Highly recommend!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at the roads end….The location was perfect and the atmosphere was so peaceful and welcoming. Our dog loved it just as much as we did, which made the experience even more special. The hospitality was really nice….Everything was well taken care of…making our stay comfortable and relaxing.
