We found this place very comfortable. We enjoyed every moment of our stay. The host was always responsive to our calls. For vegetarians, there are no good only veg hotels nearby. However , the kitchen was stocked with essentials and there are shops nearby. Our host did suggest some home food options We did not try them as we preferred to cook. The caretaker came and helped with the cleaning everyday. This was extra thoughtful of the hosts for having made this arrangement.

Sky Lounge was one of the best airbnbs I’ve booked in Kodiakanal. The view is stunning and the area is very peaceful! The space inside is super modern and comfortable. Overall a great experience and perfect location!

Karuna farms is not just a stay, it is an experience. An experience so refreshing that you will carry it with you when you go back. It is a place to explore within itself with lot of things to cover - waterfall, pool, yoga, trekking and most importantly the rock. What is more important to cover at this place, is just sitting back and experience the nature around you, through out my stay I could hear birds chirping, stream flowing, leaves falling and all the other elements that connects you with nature. If you are looking for a place to escape from the urban set-up to something peaceful and refreshing, Karuna farms is the best place. Hrudayavasi is a villa type set up with in Karuna farms, it has some transcendental energy that let you connect with your soul. The portraits of Lord Krishna setup all over the place are so beautiful and you can just stare at them observing the details. Overall this is a great place for having a refreshing experience and getting closer to nature.

Great stay at vetha's place. Loved the scenery. Food served by vetha is very delicious and I only recommend this place for couples and friends and not to families with age above 40.

I genuinely think this is the best place to stay in Kodai. It’s both peaceful and close to town, on a mountain top amid beautiful gardens. Shashi and her family have lived on this estate for decades and it has the feeling of a stately home. There are 9 separate buildings on the property, occupied by interesting characters, travellers and friends. It’s a charming spot, with charming dogs, and groundskeeper Teresa who is always around with a kind smile, and an offer of lunch or dinner if you pre-order. I will definitely be returning. Thanks again!

Walter’s Place is a hidden gem tucked away in the hills of Kodaikanal — the only property for miles, wrapped in forest, silence, and complete privacy. The off-road journey to get there is an adventure of its own, leading to a villa that looks like it’s straight out of a postcard. You wake up to the sunrise right from your bed — golden light pouring in through large windows, with nothing but hills in sight. The villa is thoughtfully designed, cozy, and effortlessly beautiful. Zeke was warm and attentive, making us feel instantly at ease with all the right info. The caretakers were just as wonderful — quiet, kind, and always making sure we had what we needed. Evenings were slow and sweet — filled with quirky board games, starry skies, and the option to barbecue. Trails nearby lead to quiet hikes through untouched forest. Unlike the commercial chaos of other stays in the area, Walter’s Place offers an unmatched sense of peace and exclusivity.

We stayed in the property for only 1 day. The stay was very well & we thought to extend the trip for 1 more day. The property was easy accessible to all the scenic places around kodai & town. Special thanks to Rani aunty because she took care our parents 85 years & 77 years very well providing room heaters & food
