Our stay here was brief but very comfortable and cozy, especially once the log burner was going! The location is convenient - just a few mins walk from the station, there’s a 711 and supermarket close by and has good access to local hiking trails. We look forward to returning in green season as it’s within walking distance of the Akigawa river, one of our favourite places to swim in the summer! Will come again.

This place was absolutely beautiful and spotless. The tall ceilings and mountain views were stunning—just like in the photos! The kitchen was incredible, and the massage chair was a great bonus. One unique and wonderful detail was that dogs are allowed on the furniture, which is rare for Airbnbs! Unfortunately, part of the pool was broken during our stay, but when we were able to use it, it was fantastic. Our dog loved it just as much as we did! I highly recommend this place to anyone, and I hope to stay here again. This charming Japanese house is nestled in a mountain town with breathtaking views of Mt. Fuji. For the best views, head to Arakawa-bashi Bridge (4-minute walk), where you can gaze south at Mt. Fuji, especially stunning during sunset. The Ku River is just steps away, with a scenic walking path lined with sakura trees that bloom beautifully in early April. We stayed here for a month in March and April and enjoyed the sakura at its peak. The area boasts a couple of notable restaurants. 郷土料理 ほうとう信州 serves delicious regional Haotou dishes, while Sakae Sushi (栄寿司) offers tasty food at affordable prices in a cozy mom-and-pop setting. Takashi and his staff have thoughtfully equipped the farmhouse with many amenities, setting it apart from other Airbnb options. We highly recommend staying here.

We had a wonderful stay here - one of the nicest places ever. So peaceful and relaxing and a great way to enjoy the Japanese countryside. Tsutomu was a brilliant host, made sure we had everything we needed and more. Just ensure if you are driving, the car is small as parking is tight!

家族で小田原城と箱根観光の為に滞在させて頂きました。宿泊施設は分かりやすい場所にありました。駐車場の場所は隣接していないのですが近くにあり、分かりやすいように写真での説明を頂き大変助かりました。滞在しやすいように布団等の準備もしてくださり、疲れておりましたので、とても暖かく迎え入れてくださっているように感じました。とても過ごしやすく、家族で滞在した良い思い出の一つとなりました。お世話になりありがとうございました。

親戚含めた家族旅行で利用させていただきました。入室もスムーズにでき、大きなお風呂と富士山の絶景、とても満足です。ありがとうございました！

Great view of Mt.Fuji !

My husband and I stayed here for the Mt Fuji part of our honeymoon and we cannot rave about BLIKIYA enough. It was so beautiful and in a wonderful location with an easy 15min walk to Chureito Pagoda, a 3min walk to the famous Honcho Street and a 7min walk to the nearest 7eleven. There is so much around and the streets are quaint and stunning. Shoko has so many recommendations in the local area and was extremely responsive. She was also very helpful suggesting ways to get to Mt Fuji from Tokyo, then the best way to get to Kyoto (our next stop). The bed was extremely comfortable and the whole place smelt AMAZING!!!! I cannot imagine a better place we could have stayed. I would highly recommend staying at Shoko’s BLIKIYA WA to everyone and we are so keen to return. If you’re in the fence about where to stay in the Mt Fuji area, you should feel 100% comfortable choosing this place. You won’t regret it. If I could give 10 stars, I would.

Excellent cabin for big group stays. Many toilets, showers and bath facilities. Well appointed kitchen and home. Big space with many areas to sit, lounge and hang out. Super helpful host - she came when we were leaving and saw us stuck in the snow and she helped shovel and together with the snow plough team, helped to get us go on our way. Thank you so much!

Worth the price . The bath and sauna were perfect. Two bedrooms! One with two western beds and two futons. With a car, everything in town is easily reachable. Amazingly friendly, solicitous, yet also entirely unobtrusive. We even splurged on the omakase dinner at the nearby Fresh Water restaurant-- it was superb -- accesible, authentic and even american kid friendly.

Wonderful place. Very cleanse and updated. Even had heaters in the room as very cold. We would stay there again. Only niggle was requesting for a later check out by one hour but we understand it could not be done. Thank you for a great stay!

I was travelling with my elderly mother who is wheelchair bound and needed to confirm details which were promptly answered. The views of Mount Fuji was amazing, best viewed from. the s 2nd floor. House is recommended for people with disabilities as both toilet and bathroom are located downstairs. There is a step from the genkan and then you can use a walker throughout. Highly recommend the house for the view alone but it was also spacious and would suit families.

Great spot to stay in even if it was a short stay for our family. It’s clean, a safe area, and very big. Do recommend arriving before sunset. Thank you very much!

El alojamiento de Kimiko es sumamente tranquilo, cómodo y muy bonito , superó mis expectativas, es el mejor alojamiento que me he encontrado en mi travesía por Japón, realmente es muy tranquilo, dormí y descanse muy bien , rodeado de la naturaleza, sin el bullicio de la ciudad y la vista del Monte Fuji realmente hermosa. Kimiko es una excelente anfitriona, siempre al pendiente, fué por mi y a dejarme en la estación , además de ofrecerse para trasladarme a algún lugar durante mi estancia Lo recomiendo ampliamente
