Beautiful house, well maintained. Everything worked and kitchen well kitted out. The caretaker of the house was very attentive and could be paid to take you out on a boat ride around the lake or pop to the shops in his tuk tuk. You can organise to have a meal cooked for you this is a nice experience. We had a peaceful two nights in the lake house.

Мама Маду вкусно готовит- мы с удовольствием покупали у нее обеды. И они нас постоянно угощали вкусняшками) территория ухоженная.-около дома-красивый цветочный сад. за домом домашнее хозяйство домашние буйволы и коровки , телята- их можно кормить.Бегают бурундучки, Гуляют павлины, поют птички, в реке вараны. контактный зоопарк. Если поеду следующей зимой в Шри-Ланку- обязательно остановлюсь у Маду)!!!!

We had a fantastic two weeks here. It’s in an idyllic spot very quiet but walkable to all the bars and shops The apartment was fabulous, great living space , comfortable beds and lovely showers. AC worked perfectly and kept us all cool. Would thoroughly recommend.

Many was so helpful from start to end, a personable and friendly person..The villa was perfect: a fantastic place to relax and splash in the pool with the children but close to the fantastic coastline, restaurants, with Galle and Ella easy to reach for day trips. We found the staff to be friendly, happy and nothing was too much to ask whilst they were also respectful of privacy. When our child developed an ear infection Manu was brilliant in helping to receive the medical help we needed.

Good location, supernice host, sweet rabbits on the territory of the villa. Hope, the description of one room will be updated soon, cause it differs from the reality :) Also be ready for some extra charges (for example electricity bills, if you need to use ACs.) It was great, that power generator appeared at the end of our staying. It’s a real blessing, when electricity is cut off!

Это невероятное жилье, которое абсолютно соответствует описанию и фотографиям, приводило нас с восторг каждый день! Nishantha и его семья невероятно внимательны и отзывчивы, мы очень рады знакомству с ними, спасибо за гостеприимство. В нашем распоряжении был прекрасный дом с приватной и ухоженной территорией, бассейном, видом на озеро. Отдельная зона для BBQ, вечером включается красивое освещение, в виде лампочек, было ощущение какого то праздника. Фауна на Шри Ланке, в целом очень богатая, и на этой вилле мы видели варанов, в гости заходил павлин, много бурундуков и красивых птиц. Я точно уверен, что выбрав это жилье - вы ни о чем не пожалеете.

Väldigt bra boende till bra pris! Boendet har det mesta man behöver för en bekväm vistelse. Rent, enkelt och funktionellt, med ett lugnt läge strax utanför Ahangama. Perfekt om man vill ha lite avstånd från centrum men ändå vara nära till stranden och restauranger. Rekommenderas!

Staying with Nalaka and his family was truly one of the best experiences we’ve had on our trip. From the very first moment, we didn’t just feel welcome, we felt like we were visiting old friends. They have such big hearts and were always there with a smile, a kind word, or a helping hand. The place itself was even more beautiful than the photos. Everything was super clean, peaceful, and surrounded by nature. But what made our stay unforgettable was the way Nalaka and his family treated us. We had so many lovely conversations, and it always felt like they genuinely cared about us and our experience. He also cooked for us a few times, and the food was honestly some of the best we had in Sri Lanka. So if you’re looking for a real, honest, and heartwarming Sri Lankan experience, not just a place to sleep, but a place to connect, then you should definitely book this Airbnb. We’ll always remember this stay, and we’re so grateful we got to meet Nalaka and his wonderful family.

The Harbour Vibe is a gorgeous place. The apartment itself has been set up immaculately, beautiful furniture, amazing aesthetics. It has everything you might need for an enjoyable, even extended stay - a four burner stove, blender, pots and pans. Of course it has amazing ocean views! You can swim or surf right from the house itself. Plus the fruit store is adjacent, you can buy dried and fresh fish a block away, and vegetables and bread are right there too. Hikkaduwa Beach with its busyness is 3 km away, tuktuks are easily available. Lakshitha is a stellar host - thoughtful, extremely responsive, and kind. He and his family were extremely kind to me, feeding me delicious food and making me feel very much at home, and special at the same time! I recommend Lakshitha's place very highly.
