As a TA hiker, it was a FANTASTIC place to take rest from the trail. The house is in a quiet area but close to the stores and restaurants. The garden was stunning. The house had everything we needed.

We loved staying at Kate’s. Mingling with the other people camping/glamping in the communal areas was great. The house was perfect for our group.

Sarah’s place was terrific. The views of the mountains and the grounds were beautiful. It’s very well appointed with everything you need. Would really like to stay longer in the future.

We had a great stay over xmas and new years, it was a really nice family space and an ideal base for relaxing and enjoying Reefton and the surrounding area. Communication with Alice and Eamon was quick and easy.

Absolutely magic. Highly highly recommend. Te Miko is a stunning little collection of houses surrounded by lush native bush. The house is spacious and beautiful. Lovely wee path down to Truman Track. I was impressed that there is a shared cycleway/footpath all the way to the pancake rocks

We loved our stay at Tamsin’s place! A beautiful, modern, comfortable house. 10 min walk to the centre of town. Easy and peaceful stay for us and extra bonus points as our dog was welcome too.

We really enjoyed staying at Sarah’s place. It was very comfortable and clean. It very close to town, but at the same time private, with great views. Highly recommended

Kerry's place was a lovely little unit with everything we needed after a few days in the mountains. It was comfy and warm, and was handy being so close to Arthur's Pass National Park. Would recommend to anyone looking for a place to stay in the area.

Kim’s place is lovely with plenty of room for a group. We really enjoyed walks nearby (Lake Daniell and the Klondyke Valley both beautiful) and the hot pools at Maruia Springs.

Great batch for a group of pals or large family. We had a fantastic stay with the added bonus the property is dog friendly. Bed are comfy and the batch is super warm after a long day on the slopes. Highly recommend and we will be back for a summer stay.

Basic but cozy! The cabins are really near Arthur’s Pass National Park and we enjoyed the easy access to hikes. Beds were comfy with warming blankets and the hot shower works don’t expect too much! Fireplace if it gets cold but we used the space heater instead. Kitchen had a mini fridge, hob, microwave, kettle, toaster, and even an air fryer, BYO food you’ll be well sorted. Water was tasty. No issues with the train and road noise, you will hear the rumbling/whooshing for sure but whether it bothers you is really up to personal tolerance. Google maps will take you right here, slow down and watch out for the big Alpine Huts signage.

Absolutely stunning, comfortable home in gorgeous surroundings. The outdoor bath was a winner and Lisa was so helful and fast to reply. I stayed at Lisa's with four friends over Christmas and everyone absolutely loved it. Highly reccommend, andvwould love to stay again.

A unique and special experience! Outdoor bath in the moonlight was definitely a highlight. Kath, Dan and family were friendly and welcoming.

This was the last place we stayed on a two week holiday and I was hoping I had saved the best until last. I did!! This place was everything I hoped it would be. With extras like full pantry of things if you needed them. We enjoyed every minute of our time here. If you just want to get away from the world and enjoy peace and beautiful views this is the place, even the toilet has a view. Oxford town with nice cafes and small supermarket is just 10mins drive away but you feel there is not another living soul for miles. The night sky is breath taking.

Perfect for a quick getaway and great that we could bring the dog. Well set up for our needs.

We had a fantastic 2 night stay at David’s place with our dog in March. It is very remote so take all that you need with you. The cabin has beautiful views of the mountains and the night sky from the hot tub was amazing. Take repellent for the sand flies, there were also lots of bees and wasps at the time of year we went. We didn’t want to leave and will certainly return.

What a stunning house! I absolutely loved my stay here. It’s perfectly located near Castle Hill rocks and a charming, cozy village. I highly recommend Robert’s house if you’re planning to hike in Arthur’s Pass. Everything was clean, fresh-smelling, and well-kept — no musty or muddy odors at all. A truly wonderful place to stay!
