This Airbnb is an absolute gem! Nestled on the slopes of Hualālai, the cabin is peaceful, private, and surrounded by stunning nature. Caroline and Scott are outstanding hosts—welcoming, attentive, and full of great local recommendations. The cabin itself is beautifully designed, spotless, and equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. Waking up to the sounds of the rainforest and sipping coffee from nearby Mountain Thunder was unforgettable. If you’re looking for a unique, serene getaway on the Big Island, this is it. We can’t wait to return next year!

Manta Soul was a beautiful place to stay with lots of thoughtful amenities. We thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub and eating breakfast in the garden outside the communal kitchen. The property is very close to lots of beaches and other fun things to do in the South Kona area.

Carolina is a lovely human being with a good heart. Carolina’s place is how all Airbnb’s should be- quirky, full of character and a host who is willing to interact and share experiences/knowledge about their locality. Carolina’s place was comfortable and made up to meet the needs of travellers who prioritise eco friendly lifestyles. A gem of a find in a marketplace of holiday rentals which are today sadly quite ordinary. 😊

Very nice place. Perfectly clean and very quiet at night. She was helpful with anything we needed. Lots of children in the neighboring house and they were very nice but there may be some curious stares and loud noises at times when they're playing! Again, at night it was perfectly quiet and we were never kept up or unable to sleep. Just thought I'd mention because it was a surprise for us! Would definitely book again.

We had a great time staying here, the description provided did not do it justice! The bathroom and shower were new and so comfortable to use and there was some kitchen appliances to make coffee and even a mini fridge! Just minutes from Kealakekua Bay, and a short drive to Kona town, this was an ideal location to stay for anyone who loves to snorkel.

Belinda was a fantastic host- providing us with great information about the place and surrounding areas of interest. She gave detailed instructions on how to find the cottage - we had no issues. The cottage was so nice and private and in such an idyllic location. Beautiful views left us feeling so peaceful and tranquil- we didn’t want to leave! I loved the access to the outdoors- the sweet geckos and lovely bird song each am to wake up to. If you want true Hawaiian feel, this is the place to stay!

This is the perfect place for a solo traveler who only needs a place to lay their head. I felt perfectly safe as a woman being alone. The host were great and although they live on site you rarely see them, so it’s almost like a private stay. The location was 30 minutes from all the beaches and tourist areas in Kona and about an hour and a half from the volcanos, black sand beach and rainbow/akaka waterfalls. If you’re like me and don’t mind a more rural, camping experience this is the place for you.

We booked the entire property for our group and we had an amazing time! It was great to wake up to the chickens, cows and birds singing. Silvia and Olivia were fantastic with whatever we needed- which wasn’t much. Would stay here again for the same discounted rate.

The Overlook cottage was fantastic and just what I was looking for - calmness, serenity, and being surrounded by nature. I loved the feeling of being so close to the outside while I was sleeping inside. It was the perfect place to come back to for relaxation and refreshing after some long days out and about. And the common area was beautiful as well. Would definitely stay again!!

This tree house Airbnb is a gem of a find in Kona. It’s nestled away from the downtown hustle and bustle, but still with in walking distance to two great beaches. Our host Arllen was absolutely fantastic. He gave us wonderful food recommendations on the island, and nothing his hospitality was top notch! We felt right at home. Listening to the wildlife at night through the trees and hearing the ocean breeze was quite a treat! We had a 6 house tree house with all the amenities one would find at home to ourselves. So we had plenty of space. Would absolutely book again. Already looking forward to our next future stay. Kindly, Myla
