Kona : locations de vacances avec cheminée

We had a fantastic stay at this Airbnb! The house was spotless, well-laid out, and ideally located between Hilo and Kona, making it easy to explore both sides of the island. It was also closer to the volcano than staying in Kona, which made visiting much more convenient—we were even lucky enough to witness an eruption! We appreciated the flexibility and privacy of an Airbnb over a resort. The home had great amenities, and while there was no A/C, it wasn’t needed for the time we visited and for summer need to be mindful . The driveway is quite steep, but manageable with good car, and the directions from Kona Airport could use an update—we initially thought we were lost but were able to confirm our route with very responsive host. There aren’t many restaurants nearby, so having a kitchen was perfect for quick meals, allowing us to dine out while exploring. Overall, we highly recommend this place and would definitely stay here again

Beautiful place! Great location. All the amenities you could need inside: shampoo/conditioner, laundry detergent, silverware/plates. Also all you could need for the beach including beach towels, umbrella, chairs, and a cooler. Perfect for a long stay. No AC but it cools down at night and we didn't mind. Would definitely recommend and stay again!

Great stay. We were a family of 4 with plenty of space to stretch out comfortably along with an excellent, well stocked kitchen that opened to a wide open den with amazing views of the ocean. Very central location that was easy from an exploring/activities standpoint. Pool was nice to have access to and great for ambiance. It was more for quick dips than lounging due to temp (not much of a difference with heating it in early March). Den opened to pool deck with great views. Master bath was dated as others have noted, but not an issue for us. No issues with not having AC in early March. There was a rental unit on premises with a single individual who came and went without bothering us, could be an issue for some. Made us think twice about leaving the kids home alone. We would definitely stay here again. Great for groups of 4-6 who like independence and value space.

We can’t say enough about Jane’s place, and the incredible time we spent there. The home is lovely and exactly as described, well equipped, and a full stock of beach chairs, snorkels, etc., to make your stay special. The back deck - the one you see in the pictures - is so incredibly beautiful and relaxing. The first night we arrived it rained for a while in the late afternoon and the sounds of the tropical rainforest was like a concert of nature. And our friends the sheep were cute and loved eating the leaves from our hands. Jane and Jim are also some of the best AirBnb hosts we’ve ever had. We can not thank them enough for their responsiveness, flexibility, advice and for simply being two of the nicest people you will ever meet. We even fell in love with their little dog Bella, so much so that she came over the last evening and spent the whole night with us, cuddling on the couch and sleeping with us. We miss her already!

The place was truly magical. Lisa's home surpassed everything we hoped for when using an AirBnB. we highly recommend Lisa's place and will gladly tell everyone about her place.

We loved the location of the house. It was central to everything we needed on the Kona side of the island and the elevation made it cooler. The house had everything we needed for a great vacation including beach chairs, umbrellas, towels and boogie boards. We appreciated all of the appliances and amenities in the kitchen as well. And the property is great with the beautiful flowers and trees of all kinds! Overall, a great place to stay and would recommend to others.

We had a fabulous stay! There were 6 adults with 2 little ones (1.5 and 3.5 years). The home was roomy and bigger than the pictured. We all were amazed at the home and ocean views. The kids had plenty of room to play. The kitchen was well stocked and organized. The beach toys were put to good use. The hot tub got used once. There was parking for 3 cars. All in all, the home worked out so well, I would rent it again!

This place was great. Awesome views, perfectly clean, and the host was more than accommodating with you little guy going out if their way to make sure they had high chairs, pack and plays and everything we needed. they were great. highly recommend. thank you

A beautiful place to stay high in the clouds of the windward side of the island - what’s not to love?
