Really loved staying at Scott’s place. It was just what we needed for our three person family. Kitchen well stocked equipment wise. Beds were good pillows were great. We loved the outdoor shower. Nice rocky beach nearby to watch the sunset. Scott was very responsive and knowledgeable . Hoping to stay again in the future, coming back to Colorado was hard!

This is a perfect little spot for a vacation or if you have family in town. The power went out for a couple of hours and Malis met us at the door with a lantern. She was friendly and responsive, considerate and kind. The space itself is adorable with a comfortable bed and a wide variety of appliances. I highly recommend!

We stayed just one quick night here after landing on the island. It was a great little space. Very clean, seemed brand new, convenient to town, and you could see the ocean from the cute front porch. The bed was very soft, like a cloud you melted into. Normally I don't like soft beds but this one was nice. It is a stand alone space but wasn't quite as private/secluded as I thought. In case someone wanted more privacy, but it wasn't an issue for us. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again!

Felt like our own home in appointments and amenities. Everything we would need to enjoy our stay was already provided. very peaceful and private setting.

An excellent getaway location! Brings you tranquility and peace! A secluded oasis that made one night feel like a weeks stay! A truly restful location that restores your energy and vitality! The gardens, ponds, and waterfalls on the property are amazing. The landscaping to showcase all aspects are second to none. The beauty of the location is enhanced by the meticulous care taken by the owners. A true gem that we can’t wait to return to.

Perfect little home away from home. We stayed for a week & the cottage had everything we needed. Nice peaceful location, comfortable, & clean. Matched the description & pictures. Would definitely stay there again if we are fortunate enough to return to Hawaii.

helpful host and nice house. Everything is perfect except for some cockroaches intruders. Highly recommended for those who love immersive experience in nature but also want to be close to amenities like restaurants and stores.

Lovely little place with beautiful surroundings. Older than appears in pictures but very clean. Very limited space to cook and fridge is quite small but there is a bbq and outdoor seating which was great. Hosts were friendly, attentive and always responsive. The pool is lovely and the nearby bay is close walking distance . The hosts live on the property full time and work from home so they are present and around most of the time. They were very respectful and were not nosy in the least but something to be aware of. Their cat and dog are wonderful and will visit you if desired.

The view is incredible. It’s a few degrees cooler than Kailua-Kona so it is more comfortable. Michael and Amanda are great hosts and the most enjoyable to talk with. The French Press was a unique touch that shows they go above and beyond to provide a peaceful relaxing environment.

We had an amazing stay. The space was beautiful and clean. The bathroom and bedrooms were perfect. We all really enjoyed the macadamia nut that were readily available from the tree!

We had wonderful stay. Place is on a quiet, safe street. Very close to beaches, Farmers market, stores and places to eat. Clean, well organized. You will find everything you need in Nick's place. Highly recommend!

Joe has made sure that his space offers an impeccable slice of paradise and is great value for the luxury on offer. When you're in the garden by the pools you really feel like you have a little resort all to yourself. The sunsets from the front lawn and living room are incredible. The house had everything that we needed as well as extra beach/pool/snorkeling equipment that we weren't expecting. Joe also provided a high chair and crib for our baby which were both of great quality. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would love to go back.

A quiet, cool spot to get away from the crowds and beach area. We enjoyed the temp drop when you climb in elevation to the house. The area seemed very safe and I never worried about theft or trouble. Nice area with nice people around the house. You will be about 20 minutes from Costco and are at a central starting point to go north or south. We didn't spend a whole lot of time at the house other than to sleep and be out enjoying the Big Island.

I would absolutely stay at The Ohana again. It’s a charming and super comfortable space. I loved sitting on the porch in the evening in the lovely garden, listening to the coqui frogs. Bonus, the location is killer. A short drive to a cute tiny town with coffee shops and restaurants, and a short ride to several gorgeous beach options.

We was really happy and love the amazing view. We had everything what we needed and it was perfect to have beach Chairs and sun umbrella. We come back…Thanks🤙🏝️🌤️

We have been to Kona many times. This is one of the best places we've stayed at. Ellen reached out before we arrived to see if there was anything we needed. When we arrived, she was literally waiting on the street to make sure we could access the driveway. Everything we needed and then some was waiting for us inside their very spacious apartment. We loved watching the sunset from the lanai, the full kitchen, and walking the neighborhood trail Ellen recommended. Ellen was very easy to reach by text and gave excellent recommendations on places to go and things to do. Thank you, Ellen and Bob, for a great visit!

Kara and Corey’s place was excellent, everything we needed was provided, it was spotlessly clean and a peaceful oasis for our stay. Easy to get in and out of. The washing machine and dryer and drying rack were a welcome addition, so pleased we chose here!
