Walter has a beautiful place with awesome views of the sunsets. It is remote, so you definitely need to get a car. Great recommendations for food. Walter was very friendly and super responsive for anything we needed. One thing to note for future renters, the doors to the bedrooms and bathrooms are slatted for increased airflow. This does make sound travel, so privacy within your group may be limited.

Truly unforgettable stay! From breathtaking ocean views to lush surroundings, every moment was enchanting. Each morning, we were greeted by charming horses nearby, adding to the serene atmosphere. The location is ideal for exploring, whether venturing across the island or enjoying local snorkeling and paddleboarding. Despite its off-the-grid feel, it’s close to excellent restaurants and cafes, offering a perfect blend of peace and convenience. Morning walks through the coffee farm to the gift shop were a delightful highlight, surrounded by coffee plants and avocado trees. The home was comfortable with stunning views, and Kelly, an amazing host, made us feel immediately at home with her attentive and caring nature. As my son and I are audhd, Kelly's place provided a relaxing escape from overwhelming hotel environments, combining home comfort with luxury. Her thoughtful communication ensured our stay was magical. . We can’t wait to return! 🌺❤️

3 nights is not enough! This place was centrally located to explore the northern part of the island and Mauna Kea mountain. A little private jungle all your own. With the sound of a waterfall as you sleep. Be prepared for roosters, cats, possibly a random pig and geckos! Great views from every room. We ate meals at the table on the covered porch every day. Only 45 mins from soft sandy beaches and 10 mins to grocery store. Don’t forget to check out the farmers markets on Sat/ Sunday. In the area. Cheaper than the stores! Bring your own beach towels . Home made soaps and fruits/chocolates were a nice touch. Thanks again! Looking forward to staying in the future.

Staying at Jason's was really nice! The view was beautiful, the house was cozy and made us feel like we were home. The outside patio was such a nice place to relax! It was nice to have a quiet place for a few days and not be in a busy city! We loved it and will definitely be coming back! Thanks!

My family and I loved our experience at Elyas’s home for our first trip to Hawaii! The home was exactly as pictured and described in the listing. Elyas and Lucas were very responsive and thoughtful hosts. We had everything we needed for a peaceful and relaxing stay. I would definitely rebook with them if we ever come back to Waikoloa Village.

The Aloha House is spectacular in every way. From the beautiful and peaceful garden to the wonderful wraparound deck, accessible from the bedrooms, and overall comfortable accommodations. It is steps away from Manini Beach which is a total paradise - you can put a kayak in Kealakakua Bay just feet away, walk two minutes and swim in the bay or watch dolphins from the beach. Beth is a wonderful host. Can’t wait to go back!

Absolutely beautiful home with a stunning garden and ocean view! My boyfriend and I loved the location as it was close to many things while still being peaceful and private. Felt right at home here! Super clean and Vicky was super responsive making us feel super comfortable. Will definitely be staying here when we come back!

I live on Hawaii Island and work regularly in the South Kona area. I had some work colleagues come to Hawaii for some work in the forest, this place was the perfect fit since it is close, has several rooms and is ideally set up for a larger group. We were working away from the coast, but the location is ideal if you are seeking a coastal retreat. I recommend this location for larger families, or groups of friends that want to be close to the water. It is literally 100 feet or so from the coast in a very quiet neighborhood. Weather is hot during the day, so it is nice that there are AC units in the rooms, but the open lanai area, where the grill is, has just the right breeze to relax and keep cool. Napoopoo road is far from Kailua town, about 40 minutes by car, so if you are into the night life or like to go out to eat a lot this place is not as well suited. However, you get all the quiet and relaxation you could want in a domestic setting.

This place was exactly what we needed! Even with a last minute double booking, they were accommodating and made the space work very well for us. They were always a text away, and very responsive. Close to what we needed, but also not in the middle of town where it was very busy. Thank you!

Tim was incredibly helpful and provided clear instructions. He even considered our group, which included a little one, so we could check in early and check out late. His place is conveniently located right next to Kona Inn Shopping Village, making it easy to grab a bite to eat. We had an amazing time during our overnight trip back from Hilo.

Ruimin’s house can be described by the word ‘charm’. It was wonderful to stay in a house that was open to the ocean brise and to be able to wake up to the sounds of birds singing - while being protected by mosquito nets. The house is large and has a wonderful view over the town and the water, allowing for stunning sunsets. Ruimin is an attentive host and quickly provided what we needed (gas grill was not working and was promptly replaced). There is some disrepair to this older house (wood railing around the - great- hot tub), but everything is in good working order and the Hawaiian open-concept charm of the house makes it all worthwhile.

I loved this place. Stayed here a week with my mom. The balcony is large and the view is amazing. Despite there being a pool from the apartment next door, noise was never an issue. It was a five minute drive to the downtown. The pool area was relaxing. Jason was very responsive and kind. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

helpful host and nice house. Everything is perfect except for some cockroaches intruders. Highly recommended for those who love immersive experience in nature but also want to be close to amenities like restaurants and stores.

Kiki's place was incredible! So serene and peaceful. And they were so helpful in helping us with recommendations and finding things to do. Kiki and Bernie were also so quick to help and extremely friendly. I would certainly recommend visiting any of their listings and locations at any time. They do a phenomenal job at hosting and make the stay very pleasant!

The ocean views were fantastic. It was clean and tidy. I didn’t get to experience much as I was only there for about 15 hours total. Located near many restaurants and many things to see to experience the Hawaiian vibe!

What a Great place! Close to everything, but very peaceful. Great for day trips! The bed was very comfortable. Which is good after a day of exploring. Very friendly host! Made sure we had everything we needed. What a beautiful property.

This is a beautiful place to stay. My family really enjoyed our five day’s. The location, view and all the amenities made you feel like home. The kitchen, bedrooms, bathroom and lanai was so organized and comforting. We walked to a beautiful local black sand beach called Honomalino, it was awesome. I highly recommend this Air B&B, had I known it was so nice we would have stayed here our whole two week vacation. We met the care taker from Pennsylvania, he was a friendly and helpful gentleman. My family rents Air B&B when they visit from Alaska, I’ll tell them and all my friends this is the place to rent. This place has created great memories for my family. Thank you so much.

Stuart’s Airbnb was wonderful. Well stocked with everything you could need, spacious and clean. We were able to walk to several shore fronts and beaches. Extra convenient to have beach and snorkel gear that we were able to use during our stay. Thanks again!

Very safe location and beautiful neighborhood. 20 minute walk to the beach. Lots of room for 3 couples. The host was very responsive to questions about the area and codes for the house.

We enjoyed our stay at Diana’s apartment. It felt like home, we had everything needed for a comfortable stay!

The setting of this house is spectacular, right in Kealakekua Bay. You can see the Captain Cook monument in the distance (we kayaked there from the property). The host provides literally everything that you could possibly need to explore the bay: kayaks, paddle boards, snorkel equipment, etc., and you can do all of this right from their own (rocky) shoreline. The house was well appointed with everything that we needed for the stay. We were glad that we had the cottage so we were separated from the other rentals. It felt private. If you stay in the summer it does get HOT in the house during the day, even with the use of their provided fans, but it cools off enough at night to get a restful sleep. Also, there is a rooster nearby, which didn't bother us East Coast early risers. It's a long drive from the main route down to this property. We recommend stopping at the local honey farm that you pass on the drive down. You'll see their products sold all over the Island.

Located halfway between Kona and Hilo, private and very comfortable stay. We really enjoyed our stay, our host was incredibly responsive and friendly. We look forward to staying again!

The cabin had everything we needed and was in a secluded area but still drivable to coffee shops and restaurants. I loved the outdoor shower and the kitties who visited every morning for a snack.
