Alanna, Thanks so much for letting us stay Redfish Lakehouse. Our family of 5 plus our Lab had a fantastic time. Lots of swimming and lake activities! Just what we were planning. We had a number of great dog walks by the Kokoanee spawning channels and spent lots of time watching the eagles, osprey, herons and turkey vultures set up shop on the beach. The beach was perfect, a couple of sandbars keep the boats away and make for a mostly sandy walk out to the deeper water. Great for kids and tired dogs! You are a pro - we had everything we needed inside and out - ice maker, Smart TV, extra lawn chairs, beach chairs, beach toys, table games, giant jenga and the dog towel! The deck was definitely a favourite. Lots of room and the afternoon shade was heaven sent at times! We look forward to staying again someday! Tammy & Greg

We were looking for a good space for our yearly group ski trip and this was perfect, we rented two of the three properties on the site and we're most likely going to book this location again next year. I just wish we had more time to spend at the house!

Brad was a fantastic host. Quick response time, very positive to engage with, clean home, spacious and equipped to handle 11 guys on a snowboard trip for a week. Plenty of linens and comfortable beds. Highly recommend! Thank you Brad

Best views of Nelson and Lake Kootenay! A wonderful experience all around. Close to town and Whitewater Ski Resort. Super clean and comfortable. Perfect for our family of four. Highly recommend staying here. Beau was a wonderful host!

The house at RED was truly awesome. Our group loved the house and it worked so well for us. Our athletes thrived being close to hill with very early wake up calls!

This was our second time staying at the whitewater chalet! As soon as our group decided to head back out to Nelson for some skiing, we knew we had to stay at the cabin again. It couldn’t be closer to the mountain or feel more secluded. The hot tub is an added bonus after a long day of skiing. The only thing to note is that the pillows could be better on the beds but for our group, it was a minor detail. Thanks for the great stay!

Wow. Marla's house is so gorgeous - clean, sunny, comfortable and elegant. Every detail was well thought out from the linens to the fresh-cut firewood available for the cozy wood burning stove. My family had an amazing stay in Nelson and enjoyed having the Mountain Retreat as our home base. Some of our favorite perks of the house: - Beautiful view of the lake - Amazing hot tub and sauna that we used daily - cozy wood-burning stove (that we also used multiple times a day) - comfortable, clean bedrooms and plenty of space As a host, Marla was wonderful - responsive and predicted all our needs but gave us plenty of space to enjoy our vacation! It snowed during our stay and our hosts were at the house early to shovel and salt the driveway (side-note, 4 wheel drive is definitely necessary in this hilly snowy mountain town). Would definitely recommend.

The house and property exceeded expectations based on the listing. Beautiful log home made for a comfortable and peaceful stay and the property is very private with a nice useable waterfront access. The kitchen is very well stocked with anything needed to do your own cooking. Mike was quick to respond to any questions and had the place well prepared prior to arrival. I would definitely recommend a stay here as a home base for a visit the area!

Our family had a lovely stay in August 2023. This cabin has all you needs covered! Kitchen is well equipped with day-to-day utensils plus so many extra small cooking appliances. Bunkbed and toy chest were a BIG hit with our young daughter, not to mention baby gates on every staircase for safety. We thoroughly enjoyed the record player with great mix of vinyls. Thanks for an amazing stay ❤️
