Home was warm and welcoming and Tara and Oskar were responsive and kind hosts.

Our stay at Sonja's was wonderful, the apartment itself was incredibly spacious, clean and had plenty of utensils for us to use if we wanted to cook at home rather than eat out. The location was perfect, around a 10 minute walk from the main shopping street in the city, about two minutes from the sea (with some incredible views!) and around 5 minutes from three large grocery stores. Parking was incredibly easy as described, lots of free on street parking in the area. Checking in/out was incredibly easy and our host was happy for us to check in early if we had arrived early. When we come back to Reykjavik I'll definitely be keeping an eye out for this property first to see if it's available!

We loved our stay at this house! Spent two nights in Reykjavik and this was a great spot to walk to everything. Neighborhood felt safe, we let our teens walk home at night by themselves. House was adorable, everything as described and very comfortable. Loved the character and charm of an older home! Bjorn was responsive and I would stay here again. Thanks!

The place was gorgeous. Hidden away in a cul-de-sac, this charming home was immaculately clean and had great features which allowed my family to feel at home. The hot tub was a hit with my family, and the modern kitchen had everything tucked away that we needed Friðrikka was responsive and made sure we had what we needed. She was thoughtful enough to have necessities available since our flight arrived so late.

Womderful spaciuos, bright and cosy house, ideal for a family. Lara provide us with detailed instructions and was always available. The location is close to supermarkets and public swimmimg pool. Downtown is just 10 Minuts by car. We had a very nive time! Thank you so much!

Nice house in in good area, a lot of space and light. Many games and toys for kids! 10 min by walk to the bus terminal.

Karen’s location was extremely nice. Very cozy and well stocked in terms of amenities and living needs. Good selection of spices too!

Drifa’s home was lovely. The neighbourhood is set outside central Reykjavik and the walk into town is about 25 minutes. It is right next to the sea. It was snowing when we stayed and was in between Christmas and New Year. Everything looked so pretty with the Christmas lights. Beds are comfy, it is quiet at night, feels totally safe. Clean, spacious and homely for my family of 5.

Eine sehr schöne Wohnung. Für eine vierköpfige Familie zum kurzen Aufenthalt sehr geeignet. Die beiden Schlafzimmer lassen sich verdunkeln, haben nur ein kleines Fenster zum Öffnen. Das Wohnzimmer ist schön groß und hell. Der Balkon lädt zum Aufenthalt ein, wenn das Wetter entsprechend mitspielt. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt. Herzlichen Dank 🤩

Last night of stay before we leave Iceland, the apartment is outside of Reykjavik, but close drive to the airport, good pick for an early flight. Only downside is that it is on a second floor without elevator, for those of who with heavy luggages, pls take note. However it wasn’t any problem for my crew, we love the place and its living room/kitchen open area. Wish we had the chance to stay longer.

A beautiful apartment that looks just like the photos! Comfy beds, spacious living room, well-stocked and modern kitchen. And super close to the downtown, many parks, and coastline. We really enjoyed our stay here!

This flat is very comfortable (the Icelandic know how to insulate and keep warm - which we gratefully noted as we live in a draughty Victorian house!) and very well fitted and maintained. Pretty much perfect. Lloyd and Raggi were welcoming and helpful and had left a few treats in the fridge which was nice :) They left us to ourselves but were quickly responsive when we had a query. They live in the flat below and met us on arrival there which was helpful. The area is residential and quiet but very close to the central exciting bits of Reykjavik - just five mins walk. Five mins in the other direction you can get to the path around the coast and a black sand beach. So, perfect for us really as we were there for Airwaves. They told us of a local pool which we went to everyday - it was great. There's a local bakery and cafe near the pool, but there's all the stuff in town in the other direction too. Easy access to airport - use Flybus stop 1 at City Hall Much recommended.

We enjoyed our stay at Einar's. The apartment had everything we needed including some toys for my 2 year old. The big windows and balcony overlooking the park were perfect for aurora watching, we saw it twice during our stay at Einar's in February.

Really interesting apartment, very clean, comfortable and well equipped. Very accessible location and good to be able to park the car in the driveway. An added bonus was the toys that had been left for the baby to play with - a very thoughtful touch. Unfortunately we could only stay one night - highly recommended and would stay again.

We really enjoyed our stay here in this cosy flat. It is in a great location for walking, bus or car. We appreciated that Wilhelm gave us early access to the flat. Highly recommended!

Highly recommend!! Amazing location, close to everything! We walked everywhere. We never had an issue finding a spot to park the few times we drove to explore. The apartment itself is beautifully decorated, spacious, and very clean! Hordur is a fantastic, kind host with quick response time and great recommendations. The check-in process was very easy, and the apartment was easy to find. Very quiet and private. We really enjoyed our stay here! :)

Super communicative! Gave us an early check in as our flight had arrived earlier than intended- was always fast with response! He even gave recommendations when asked and made sure we had everything we needed during our stay! Super nice and highly recommend- I’d stay again if I came back :)

The place was very neat and exactly what is shown in the picture. Easy and smooth check in . We stayed for 5 days and it felt like home, quiet , warm and respected place. From the balcony, we were welcome to see Aurora for our first night. For burgers lover, there’s a joint burger nearby ( Hamborgara bullan) which is really good (5⭐️). The city center can be reached about 7-11 minutes by driving. Theres always spot for parking and it’s free. Highly recommended. Definitely will come back and stay longer. My family and I are very thankful for our stay.

We spent a wonderful weekend just before Christmas at Ingvar's place. The apartment was beautiful, spotlessly clean, elegantly furnished and most of all lovely, warm and comfortable. Ingvar was a responsive and helpful host and our family loved our stay. We knew the area from a previous visit and it's just a short walk into the centre of Reykjavik. Ingvar and his apartment are highly recommended, especially to those with children and we would love to come back! We truly felt right at home.

Unbelievable location. Hronns home is extremely clean and very comfortable. You could not get a better location in the city, it was central to everything. You can walk to all the best bars and restaurants. There is a market right across the street to get whatever you need. We felt right at home and it was a great place to come back to after long tours. The included parking space was so convenient and saved me money on parking. The place is impeccably decorated and the bed was really comfortable. Hronn and Siggi are very warm, welcoming, and lovely people. I accidentally locked myself out and they answered my call immediately to help me. They also go out of their way to provide helpful information about the area in a convenient pamphlet left on the counter.. These are truly great people and I am already planning my next trip back. I can honestly say I would not stay anywhere else in Reykjavik as long as this place is available.

Styrmir’s house was beautiful and was everything we needed on our trip. It was conveniently located by several grocery stores, not to mention being very close to the city center. It also had very easy access to the major highways out of Reykjavik, making day trips extremely easy. Styrmir was one of the most helpful and communicative hosts. He was a font of incredibly helpful information and continuously checked in to see how we were doing. The cats in the house were one of the best parts. They were super cute, extremely friendly, and made the stay that much more enjoyable. We would absolutely recommend this to anyone and would definitely stay here again!

This was the perfect place to stay for a quick vacation to Reykjavik! Really nice location with ocean views, 2 balconies, very close (driving) to main areas/ downtown. Some stores and restaurants in walking distance. Host was very flexible and responsive. Would definitely stay again!

My family and I stayed here for Christmas and New Years! The location was perfect for going in and out of town to look for the northern lights and still close to the city center for shopping! Hradnildur also gave us a list of recommendations which helped us find the hidden gems!
