Beautiful home! Spacious and clean, perfect for my group of 5. The plentiful decor was tasteful and living room is cozy with large couch. Location was quiet and private, conveniently near a Bonus, and close to major highways. The space is well stocked: Whether you need laundry related products, extra pasta sauce, quality coffee machine, etc you can find it. Would highly recommend for a cozy stay, truly like a home away from home.

We traveled with an infant and since no one was using the place the day before, Hildur allowed us to come straight from our flight! It was so incredibly nice of them and my daughter appreciated the opportunity to catch up on some sleep. Overall, the place is beautiful, spacious, and had an incredible review. I’d recommend this AirBnb to anyone!

We were absolutely amazed when we walk in to the house. Hjordis’s house is even nicer than in to the photos! House was very stylish, clean and cozy and with all little details which were waiting there for us we were really amazed. There were also provided everything you should need during your stay here. Also instructions was very clear so we didn’t have a problem with anything. It was also great location for our shorter Icelandic trip and we catch everything we wanted to see from there.

A modern spacious house located in a quiet neighborhood with a lovely cat. Lina might be one of the friendliest cats we've ever encountered. We loved staying here with her! Hroar was always available and easy to communicate with. If you're looking for a beautiful house and aren't afraid of a sweet cat, this is your place to go!

Karen was very responsive. The apt was also very clean. We appreciated that we can drop off our luggage early/leave it later even after checkout. The laundry was very helpful especially at the end of our trip with detergent provided. Super convenient to get to the main road from Airbnb.

Our family absolutely loved staying at Himri. The views were incomparable and the rooms were spacious and so clean. The house had so many extras that many AirBnBs cannot offer, from two washers and two dryers, a sauna, a hot tub, two spacious living rooms, a gym and even a game room the kids loved. The electric lights were confusing but Berglind and her husband Anton managed to fix them promptly and were very good at communicating. The scenery around the house was worth mentioning again and again. Being a little remote from neighbors and cities, we had to drive to get there and joining tours and excursions required parking in Reykjavík. Within 10 min drive is Laxnes Horse farm that offers rides through 1000-year old paths, the Hammsvik Thermal Spa (so much better than the Blue Lagoon), and a cattle farm that sells beef. So budget some time for the closest options. Or just go walking for miles by the best fishing river in Iceland. Thank you, Himri!! We hope to return soon.

Drifa’s home was lovely. The neighbourhood is set outside central Reykjavik and the walk into town is about 25 minutes. It is right next to the sea. It was snowing when we stayed and was in between Christmas and New Year. Everything looked so pretty with the Christmas lights. Beds are comfy, it is quiet at night, feels totally safe. Clean, spacious and homely for my family of 5.

Provavelmente um dos melhores locais onde ficamos, pois a casa é muito superior ao que as fotografias mostram. A localização é maravilhosa, a casa e as comodidades simplesmente soberbas, sem duvida local que iremos voltar na próxima visita a Islândia. Durante a nossa estadia sentimo-nos completamente em casa, o conforto, todos os utensílios na cozinha disponíveis, aquecimento central ótimo, enfim recomendamos é só podemos agradecer a Helga por nos proporcionar esta experiência.

Die Kommunikation lief sehr gut und das Apartment war sehr sauber und schön eingerichtet. Wir haben uns sofort sehr wohl gefühlt. Würden auf jeden Fall wieder hier buchen.

Family of 5 stayed for 6 nights at Aron’s apartment. Modern building, modern decor, clean and comfortable. Satnav took us direct to the building. We always found a parking space when we returned from a day out exploring, only one day we couldn’t get out the front. There are apartments being built next door, work starts about 8am but the property is so well insulated did not cause us any noise issues. You can see right round the bay to the harbour in Reykjavík and we walked in a couple of times for dinner, took about 30 mins to walk. Great location to be based at, all main driving routes easily accessible. Local grocery store close. Tours left from Hotel Cabin across the road. Comfortable beds inc the sofa bed. Cooked dinner a couple of nights and oven and hob worked fine. Aron’s instructions getting into the building, getting the key were perfect. We felt safe and secure the whole time in Aron’s place. If I had to leave one comment for improvement would be the addition of a microwave.

L'alloggio di Nina è molto bello. Gli spazi sono ampi e luminosi con una bellissima vista sulla città e il mare. Il centro città si raggiunge a piedi facilmente e vicino ci sono vari supermercati. L'arredamento ha gusto e personalità e ci si sente come a casa. Letti comodi, bagno pulito e funzionale. La cucina è abbastanza completa, anche se manca qualche posata e piatti aggiuntivi. Ci sono vari elettrodomestici e caffettiere per preparare vari tipi di caffè. Il divano del soggiorno è comodo e rilassante. Spazi perfetti per quattro persone. Nina è sempre stata reattiva e disponibile. Grazie!

Très bel appartement. Extrêmement bien situé en plein centre. Possibilité de visiter le centre historique et le port à pied depuis l'appartement. Cependant très calme. Aucune nuisance sonore. Pas de parking attribué mais possibilité de se garer extrêmement facilement à proximité immédiate. Appartement très propre. Bonne literie. Nous y reviendrions avec plaisir!

A beautiful apartment that looks just like the photos! Comfy beds, spacious living room, well-stocked and modern kitchen. And super close to the downtown, many parks, and coastline. We really enjoyed our stay here!

Loved staying here. It was a great home base for us and our host was lovely. She recommended several places to go and was always responsive through the entire stay.

We loved this penthouse apartment! Super easy to follow the instructions to obtain the keys, etc. Great location, great place to stay with many restaurants nearby just a short walk away! Close to everything. If you are new to the area, highly recommend Sky Lagoon, the Food Tour, a long hike to Hot Springs, etc. Terrific apartment!

Super communicative! Gave us an early check in as our flight had arrived earlier than intended- was always fast with response! He even gave recommendations when asked and made sure we had everything we needed during our stay! Super nice and highly recommend- I’d stay again if I came back :)

The perfect Airbnb in Reykjavik, very close to the city center. Everything is walkable and the place is beautiful and clean.

We had a wonderful time in this cozy apartment. It was a nice location to be outside the city but have easy access to main roads and shops. We chose this place as it was walking distance to our friends' house. Heba's decor is very pleasing and the kitchen had everything we needed. The space is well designed for relaxation and practicality. It was easy to park our rental car in the driveway.

Unbelievable location. Hronns home is extremely clean and very comfortable. You could not get a better location in the city, it was central to everything. You can walk to all the best bars and restaurants. There is a market right across the street to get whatever you need. We felt right at home and it was a great place to come back to after long tours. The included parking space was so convenient and saved me money on parking. The place is impeccably decorated and the bed was really comfortable. Hronn and Siggi are very warm, welcoming, and lovely people. I accidentally locked myself out and they answered my call immediately to help me. They also go out of their way to provide helpful information about the area in a convenient pamphlet left on the counter.. These are truly great people and I am already planning my next trip back. I can honestly say I would not stay anywhere else in Reykjavik as long as this place is available.

Great stay in Reykjavik! Highly recommend to anyone looking to spend some time in the city. Walkable to many museums, restaurants, and shops. Super convenient! The hot tub is an added bonus :)

Sigrun was such a lovely host and her place was beautiful. It was so nicely decorated for the holidays. It is very conveniently located near the church, which was wonderful for the New Year’s fireworks. Every possible comfort was provided for and everything was in wonderful condition . The furnishings were very elegant and comfortable . She made us feel very welcome from her first message to her warm greeting , to the nice touches of coffees and candies that she left for us. I have stayed in many Airbnb‘s throughout the world and this is one of the nicest, what a wonderful way to start 2025!

Hurnd and Davio’s place had a modern Scandinavian flair and it came with a well equipped open kitchen which connects to a dining room where 6-8 people can dine comfortably. The living room is so cozy as well and there were unblocked view for sunrise and sunset everyday, we really enjoyed our time experiencing Icelandic nature and there are also some outdoor seatings to get some fresh air. There were the two of us staying this time and the main purpose was for work. As we had some free time we did make use of the #14 bus which is just 2 mins walk from the apartment and runs to the city center and big church. The grocery is also just 15 mins walk away. Hrund even left us a personal message and she ensured our stay was hassle free with explanation of how the trash is sorted. The toilet was really nicely designed too and you can always count on the geothermal water coming out from the tap for a nice hot shower. We would definitely stay with Hrund and Davio again in the future!
