The directions given to us for getting from the airport to the apartment were concise and easy to follow. Checking in was an easy process thanks to the instructions given to us. The apartment was well presented, very clean and warm. The kitchen was well equipped and the beds and pillows were extremely comfortable. It was a ten minute walk to the old town where there were many restaurants and bars. We’d definitely stay in this apartment again.

A beautiful apartment that looks just like the photos! Comfy beds, spacious living room, well-stocked and modern kitchen. And super close to the downtown, many parks, and coastline. We really enjoyed our stay here!

We can highly reccomend to stay at Hafdìs appartment. It's a quiet region and you can easy reach Reykjavik and the Airport Keflavik by car. We felt very comfy in the lovely furnished appartment and it has a good equipped kitchen. The communication was great and Hafdìs made sure that we have averything we need. Thanks again for hosting us :)

Let me start by saying the pin on the map about the location does not do it justice. The location is amazing!! It is in walking distance to everything. Just above the 66 North store. Cute, quaint little place was perfect for our family of four. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking to stay right in the heart of everything. We were worried about parking, but there is a public parking garage within a two min walk. We used the Parka app and we were in and out quickly. Host(s) were very responsive and helpful!

Die Wohnung war sehr schön, mit allem eingerichtet, was man so braucht. Das Zentrum von Reykjavik ist in wenigen Minuten mit dem Auto oder mit dem Bus erreichbar. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind in direkter Nachbarschaft. Man sieht von der Wohnung aus direkt die Berge um Reykjavik und wir haben auch an einem Abend die Nordlichter von der Terrasse aus genossen. Wir haben uns sehr sehr wohlgefühlt und Eggert war immer hilfsbereit und sehr freundlich. Bei unserer Ankunft haben wir frisches Toastbrot, Käse und Getränke von Eggert im Kühlschrank vorgefunden, was uns sehr gefreut hat. Die Unterkunft ist also unbedingt weiter zu empfehlen, und wir kommen gerne wieder.

We loved staying in Anna's apartment! She is an amazing and kind hostess. The apartment looks even better than the pictures, very clean and comfortable. Includes all the amenities you could need and the location, although not in the center, it's really accessible (if you rent a car) and the neighborhood is nice. The building has an elevator which was a plus. Would stay there again.

Siggi was very friendly and helpful for our trip. The car he provided was very useful and reliable. The place was quite, clean, and warm just like home.

We loved our stay here! Location was great - only a few mins from bus stop 3, which is where the airport bus and tours picked up/dropped off. Supermarket near by too. Accommodation itself had everything we needed and made our stay in Reykjavík very enjoyable!

Home was warm and welcoming and Tara and Oskar were responsive and kind hosts.

The place was gorgeous. Hidden away in a cul-de-sac, this charming home was immaculately clean and had great features which allowed my family to feel at home. The hot tub was a hit with my family, and the modern kitchen had everything tucked away that we needed Friðrikka was responsive and made sure we had what we needed. She was thoughtful enough to have necessities available since our flight arrived so late.

Womderful spaciuos, bright and cosy house, ideal for a family. Lara provide us with detailed instructions and was always available. The location is close to supermarkets and public swimmimg pool. Downtown is just 10 Minuts by car. We had a very nive time! Thank you so much!

Nice house in in good area, a lot of space and light. Many games and toys for kids! 10 min by walk to the bus terminal.

Lovely house in a quiet neighbor. Lina is very lovable. We enjoy our stay very much.

Pros: Karen is very friendly and gave great local advice on where to see the Northern Lights as well as cheaper places to park. A slight issue arose prior to our arrival (as issues do) and Karen was quick to communicate and offer a perfect solution. House was clean and safe. Location was great for walking around all the downtown shops and literally across the street from our favorite bakery, Plantan. Cons: There was only 1 set of keys so we had to wait a few minutes for host to meet us to let us in. Same for check-out - we waited about 30 minutes for host to meet us to get the keys. This might be made less inconvenient if you know exactly what time you are leaving. We initially thought we would stay until 11 but changed our minds and were ready to leave at 9:30. We went to eat at Plantan and host arrived at 10 to retrieve keys.

We had a fantastic stay at this Airbnb! The space was ample for our family of five, allowing everyone to have their own room and privacy. The included parking was a huge plus, especially in a city where parking can be a challenge. Our host was very welcoming upon arrival, making us feel at home right away. The only minor drawbacks were that check-in felt a bit lengthy after a long flight, and a few appliances could use some upgrades—our toaster worked inconsistently, the coffee machine's water compartment leaked, and we had some initial confusion with the dishwasher. That said, these were small inconveniences in an otherwise excellent stay. The home was comfortable, well-located, and well-suited for a family. We would highly recommend it!

Provavelmente um dos melhores locais onde ficamos, pois a casa é muito superior ao que as fotografias mostram. A localização é maravilhosa, a casa e as comodidades simplesmente soberbas, sem duvida local que iremos voltar na próxima visita a Islândia. Durante a nossa estadia sentimo-nos completamente em casa, o conforto, todos os utensílios na cozinha disponíveis, aquecimento central ótimo, enfim recomendamos é só podemos agradecer a Helga por nos proporcionar esta experiência.

I loved staying at this listing. If I’m ever back in Iceland, I will be staying here without a doubt. The place was very clean and matched the description and pictures. Fridleifur was very helpful, and gave us clear instructions on how to check in. There is a mall and a grocery store, just a short walk away. If you’re planning on taking public transport, the bus that takes you to the city is a 3 minutes walk away. And for excursions, it’s a 24 minute walk to Terminal 1. Several people have mentioned the lack of a microwave but we were able to cook and reheat our food in the oven just fine. We did have trouble with the stove- although Fridleifur tried his best to help us- we just couldn’t figure it out, but if you’re used to European induction stoves you’ll most likely be fine. Icelandic tap water is amazing, so just bring a reusable water bottle, and there’s no need to buy wall plug adapters as there are 2 or 3 in the Airbnb. Thank you, Fridleifur! Takk fyrir :)

We had the absolute pleasure of staying at Inga's place whilst in Iceland. The apartment is beautiful and spotless. We felt right at home straightaway. Every aminety you can think of, Inga has is covered. The apartment is in a quiet and private area, not too far from the city centre. It had everything we could possibly need and each and every room was perfect. There is ample roadside parking and the apartment is easy to access. Inga as a host is incredible. She is very responsive and super friendly, always willing to help. She helped us with local taxi services and amazing restaurant recommendations. We had the best stay - thank you, Inga!

Unbelievable location. Hronns home is extremely clean and very comfortable. You could not get a better location in the city, it was central to everything. You can walk to all the best bars and restaurants. There is a market right across the street to get whatever you need. We felt right at home and it was a great place to come back to after long tours. The included parking space was so convenient and saved me money on parking. The place is impeccably decorated and the bed was really comfortable. Hronn and Siggi are very warm, welcoming, and lovely people. I accidentally locked myself out and they answered my call immediately to help me. They also go out of their way to provide helpful information about the area in a convenient pamphlet left on the counter.. These are truly great people and I am already planning my next trip back. I can honestly say I would not stay anywhere else in Reykjavik as long as this place is available.

Great stay in Reykjavik! Highly recommend to anyone looking to spend some time in the city. Walkable to many museums, restaurants, and shops. Super convenient! The hot tub is an added bonus :)

Lisa is the best! Received the warmest most hospitable welcome to Iceland, with local tips and treats for my stay. The flat is super cozy, clean and quiet; perfect place to rest after spending hours at airports and traveling. Lots of great shops and sights within walking distance, very easy to hop on the bus to get to Reykjavik as well. Thanks again Lisa, I appreciate you!

Unnur’s place was absolutely spectacular, and she was an exceptional communicator. She went out of her way to ensure I had everything I needed, including a charging adapter upon arrival and extra towels for my comfort. Her communication was truly outstanding.
