This place was absolutely breathtaking. George was very responsive and the food Vincent provided was amazing as well. Overall our stay here was one of the highlights of our trip to India!

The place is BEAUTIFUL. A full glass house with the surrounding forest will give you a BALI like feel. Sharath was very helpful as a caretaker. Only problem is the food in this area. There are not many eateries nearby and the ones that are there close very early and also taste is not at all up to the mark. But you get a beautiful kitchen with all the utensils so you can cook if you want to. You can just sit in the balcony and let your day pass.

We are a family of 7 and recently visited Kodaikanal. We were looking for a spacious and comfortable place to stay, and we found Jarcanda Villa. It was the perfect place for our family! The villa is a beautiful vintage property that is very well maintained, with plenty of space for everyone. The rooms were cozy and well-equipped, making sure we felt at home. We especially loved the peaceful surroundings and the breathtaking views. The host was incredibly friendly and ensured we had everything we needed for a memorable stay. One of the highlights was the barbecue – it was absolutely delicious, and I highly recommend everyone try it. The campfire experience in Kodaikanal’s cool climate was unforgettable and really added a special touch to our trip. While a few things in the bathroom could use some attention, these minor negatives are completely overshadowed by the positives of the property. We highly recommend Jarcanda Villa to anyone looking for a relaxing, fun, and enjoyable getaway!!!

The host and the manager welcomed us properly. The host gave us early check-in which helped us a lot. The food from the local kitchen (home made food) is of little expensive but the taste if by far the best in the town. I would surely come and stay for sure and will recommend the villa.

We really enjoyed our stay here. We were 13 people and occupied the entire villa. Every mentioned amenities are accurate. Rooms are very spacious. Interiors attract the most. Maintained well and extremely clean. Host is very responsive and helped with smooth checkin and check out. Caretaker was very helpful and was available whenever we needed something. Pictures doesn't justify the beauty of the villa, it's more beautiful in real and very well maintained.

George is an excellent host, very responsive and attentive, always checking in to ensure our comfort throughout the stay. The cottage is exactly as shown in the pictures—clean, well-maintained, and with a neat bathroom. It's conveniently located right on Lake Road, making it easy to find. The area is calm and peaceful, with a beautiful garden that added to the charm. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything we needed, and the portable heaters in both rooms kept us warm during the chilly nights. Priya, the caretaker, is an absolute gem. Her homemade food is delicious, and we ended up not eating out at all because her cooking was so good! She was always responsive to our needs. We stayed with our 1-year-old and 3-year-old, and both of them enjoyed the space and environment immensely. We will definitely visit again in the future. Highly recommend!

Joy’s place is perfect for four people. Staying here enhanced our whole trip. Joy and his caretakers offer very special hospitality. Joy is always a phone call away to get what you need, from food to amazing chats to a walk around his property, which is filled with different types of trees and plantations. Ask him about the miracle fruit. Tour the cardamom processing plant and the estate and try the pepper fruit. Don't miss out on their chicken BBQ.

A super relaxing stay. Beautiful house in a very quiet neighbourhood. We mostly stayed indoors playing board games on the porch or taking long walks around the house in the neighboring hills. The bench outside was our favorite and we used to have our breakfasts out on the bench watching the beautiful valley. There was some construction going in the next house and we could feel and hear the movement of workers and some of the music they were playing during their work, but it was not super disturbing. All said and done, we absolutely loved the experience of staying here in Kodai. Kodai is such a beautiful place, clean and green with kind locals. If you are around on Sundays take time to visit the local Sunday farmers market. It was awesome.
