This property was spectacular!! The home itself was so spacious and beautiful, and Sato-san, the host, was extremely accommodating and kind! Breakfast was also delicious! Before we even checked out, my girlfriend and I were already talking about how we needed to come back again! I really had no issues at all – this property completely exceeded all of my expectations. I would definitely recommend it to anyone!

Wir hatten dort eine wundervolle Zeit. Die Wohnung ist einfach und schlicht, aber es gibt alles, was man braucht. Es ist ein wirklich schöner Ort für Naturliebhaber mit vielen Möglichkeiten, etwas zu unternehmen. Matsui ist ein toller Gastgeber und sehr freundlicher und hilfsbereiter Mensch. Es war eine große Freude ihn und seine Frau kennenzulernen. Es ist wichtig ein Auto zu haben, um dort hin zu gelangen.

This is a fabulous luxury stay. The space has been outfitted with the highest attention to detail. The experience is marvellous - Victoria can take you on a tour of the temple and give a bit of her husband’s family history. It was a little tricky to find initially (buy putting the temple in as the destination put us on the right track) and Victoria was in constant communication. It is within very close proximity to the Takachiho Gorge and a wealth of natural beauty. If you just want to chill the area is rural and very peaceful. We had the first night to ourselves and then shared with a very respectful group from Taiwan. Can thoroughly recommend.

The cabin is a lovely place. Clean and cozy. I was here for one night on Fall, the night was cold but host provided robes, blankets...so it was comfortable night for us. Host provided everything needed for my trip, from amenities to plenty of foods. I was able to make a full breakfast for 7 people just from the foods from refrigerator. I will come back when we have chance to visit Aso area.

2月に利用させていただきました。 暖かめな日だったというのもあり、宿内だけでなく、外でも焚き火や近くの滝を見に行ったりと、大変充実した休日にすることができました。 オーナーの方も親切にしてくださり、気持ちよく宿泊することができました。 延泊したくなるほどの素敵な宿でした✨ 是非また利用させていただきたいです。 ありがとうございました☺️

This is the second time I have stayed at this Airbnb. Masahide-san is an excellent host. He is friendly and helpful. The location is peaceful with good access to Aso and the surrounding area. One of the most wonderful places I have seen in Japan.

We had a lovely stay end of March 2025. This is by far my favorite BNB in the whole wide world! Everything was so well equipped, even has cleansing oil and sanity pads for forgetful humans like me. Owner has beautiful potteries, long list of amenities supply, video games, guitar, and a big table with heater and blanket in the living room. Towels and linens were super clean, the whole place was squeaky clean! Super comfortable to stay in. The beautifully decorated sake area was amazing! We will come back with more friends and family next time! Best of all, it is dog friendly!!! My dog Melly loved it here 🤎
