Stay was great. Great location, right by Vembanad lake with views of Pathiramanal island right across you. Lot of good small eateries nearby (20min drive) which had the best fish preparations. Aneesh (the manager) was really helpful and coordinated the food and activities. Tried dosa as breakfast on one day and it was great. It would have been great if living room also had AC.

We had the pleasure of staying with Deepu and his family whilst on our visit to kerala. From the minute we arrived Deepu and Christine made us feel so welcome and helped us so much . "The apartment was absolutely spotless and beautifully decorated. Our host went above and beyond to make sure we felt at home. "Communication was seamless with the family . They invited us to meet friends and even go away to visit them on a trip we never would have experienced. I cannot put into words how special Deepu and Christine made our visit , Breakfast was absolutely beautiful and traditional I will certainly return. Thank you Deepu to you and your family and friends. I feel we arrived as guests but left as good friends . Highly recommend a visit to stay . A truly special experience made better by Deepu and his family whims on.

It was a peaceful outing with my family. There was privacy and the property was really clean. Well managed and well maintained property with supportive staff.

What a special and beautiful place… we were only there for 2 nights and just wished we’d been staying for longer! We were met by Mathew and his wife, who look after the property, and despite our late arrival time (after 10pm) due to our flight, they were warm and welcoming. The temperature is pretty hot at this time of year (feb) but our rooms had air conditioning and ceiling fans and felt like a cool sanctuary to retreat to. The house itself is beautiful.. traditional ornately carved dark wood features and furniture.. so elegant, clean and comfortable. Authentic Kerala style. We didn’t have time to use the pool but it looked lovely and well maintained. We were made a beautiful breakfast each morning, had a lovely chat with Mathew and his wife and given helpful local recommendations. Highly recommend staying here - if I ever come back to Kochi I will definitely be returning! Thank you.

I'd booked the place for my friends to stay for my engagement function. Everything was amazing and the house was also pretty great! The management took care of all concerns we had and it was an amazing stay.

It is an extremely serene and calm place. It was perfect for our family getaway and apt for our occasion. 2 caretakers helped us with everything and were very responsive whenever a need arose. It was a great space.

Beautiful 1950’s villa with a team of house staff led by Mr Cherian, who took care of everything including delivering amazing food from the sister hotel Eighth Bastion. Sumptuous breakfasts were provided at the hotel, or we could make our own with the provisions supplied (even our fussy 6 year old enjoyed the cornflakes and banana cake). Had a wonderful staycation, with daily music lessons at the Kerala Kathakali centre.

We had a wonderful stay at Sebastian’s place. Swapna and Sebastian were so welcoming and made us all feel at home. They went out of their way to help us with everything we requested, including arranging a yoga class and houseboat trip. They have three wonderful children, who were very happy to chat with us and made us feel part of the family. Swapna made us delicious breakfasts and also cooked us a fantastic Kerala dinner one evening. The house is a very short walk from the beach and we had a wonderful time going in and out of the gloriously warm water. We also had some fantastic food at the local restaurant- we particularly recommend ‘the fisherman cafe’. We had the best time and will definitely come back if we find ourselves in Marari again!

I stayed here only for one day but I must thank Anthony Uncle and Tessy Aunty for making all the arrangements, most importantly an early check-in request as we were reaching early in the morning. i would highly recommend their property. beautiful house with peaceful locality and very well located close to the ernakulam town railway station and other places . looking forward to visit again . i would highly recommend this to an individual or a group of 6-8 people as well.

The property was just the right place for our requirement, i had gone there with my friends for a wedding. The place was spacious,clean, in the center of the city and all facilities were provided and the best part was that we had full freedom

It was a pleasure to stay at Leena’s place. The house was very spacious . The rooms, bathrooms, kitchen,lobby and common areas were exceptionally sparkling clean.The house was better than expected. The host and co-host, both were very friendly and responsive. Kitchen had all the essentials. Two good quality dinner sets , glasses etc. all were available. Leena and Sasidaran , both are great . We enjoyed the house and felt homely .

Jacob's inn was a great place to unwind with my friends. I loved how peaceful and tranquil the environment was but at the same time being at the heart of the city. Anisha was a professional host who responded to all my queries immediately and consistently checked to ensure that we were comfortable. The rooms were very spacious, bright and clean and the kitchen was well stocked. Location is ideal and well connected. I would highly recommend this property and would love to revisit. Good value for money. ❤️

This was a great location and a great home for our trip. It had all the amenities we needed and was very spacious. The host was very gracious and easy to communicate with. I recommend anyone coming to the city to stay here!

Rismitty and her husband Joseph were superb hosts. They really cared about us and our visit and did everything to make our stay pleasant and enjoyable. By the end of our stay I felt that we had become friends. The place itself was spotlesslessly clean, roomy, with simple but adequate furniture. The kitchen was minimally stocked, but it met our needs. Filtered water was available. Note that there isn't hot water in the shower, but that seems to be standard in India except in upscale hotels. For westerners the rates are very low. In short, I highly recommend this airbnb for a visit to Kochi.

Das Haus ist ruhig gelegen in einer Gasse, aber mit Neil's Videobeschreibung super zu finden. Es ist groß und wir haben besonders die Waschmaschine genossen, da wir lange unterwegs sind. WLAN funktioniert super und die Küche hat die wichtigsten Dinge wie Wasserfilter, Wasserkochers und Toaster etc. Neil hat immer zügig geantwortet. Wir waren froh, in Fort Kochi gebucht zu haben. Es hat wirklich Flair.

It was an excellent stay at Balu James’s place. The house is very beautiful, the kitchen is well equipped. The owner is very responsive and the care taker Bindu is very helpful too. The house is well gated with automatic gate and beautiful garden, orchids flowers. The house is built with lots love and passion. Everything is taken care of. However, in March it is too hot in Kerala. I would suggest to add an A/C in the common area also. The bed also needs to be changed to a king size and softer one. These are just suggestion for the owner to become a super host in the future. I will recommend this house stay to anyone visiting Kerala. We are looking forward to come again this time in Winter 😂 Thank you Balu and Bindu.

We had a wonderful stay with my family! The hosts were incredibly warm and welcoming, and the property's sustainable surroundings were beautiful. It’s right in the middle of the city, but felt like far away in a serene space. The house was thoughtfully maintained, spotless, and had everything needed for short to long stays. The kitchen was fully equipped. Overall, it was a very peaceful and relaxing retreat— Highly recommended !

It was a great experience staying in Jo &Sams villa it was very silent place and it is very ecofriendly place by nature it is great place to have a small family gathering and. Reunion we loved it and the rooms were very neat and clean. Thanks for the stay Danny John

Nebu's house has all the amenities to make for a pleasant stay. He was a responsive host and easy to get a hold of.

Great place, walkable distance from beach. clean accomodation. the bed can comfortably accommodate 3 people. The food that aunty made was sooo yum both veg and non veg . It was affordable also. sherin was super helpful and was always available over a call. she is friendly and helps you out for all the local doubts we have.

Great Property in walkable distance to main road. Lots of restaurants nearby. Host and caretaker are very helpful and willing to accomodate your requirements.

Booked the property for my birthday and what a cool little home and even more cooler hosts Divya and her dad.Everywhere you look inside the house you see cute artworks and small sweet and quirky notes. Me and my partner enjoyed every moment out there.If you are planning to stay an hour drive around Kochi and want a clean and calm property just book it and you won’t regret it.Cherai beach is 20 min drive and there is a paddy field nearby where you can watch stunning sunrise and sunset.Hugs for Divya’s mom for cooking us breakfast.we are going back there soon😊
