Sarah was a wonderful host and her place felt like home. We had everything we needed for a week in Taupo. Close to a shopping market and the walking path on the lake, the place was quiet and peaceful.

Beautiful location. Great house for our two family home holiday. Stayed in April and the heating was lovely. The heated pool was a nice surprise. Plenty of private areas if you needed space. Having access to the walking track by the lake was fantastic. House is starting to need some love but still a very lovely stay.

Lovely place to stay in Taupo, with beautiful views and easy access to town

Beautiful destination and amazing views of the lake. The Espresso Coffee machine was the cherry on top!!! Plenty of parking which came in handy, very clean for a place allowing pets (we were anxious about our dogs playing at the lake and going in the house wet and dirty, but cleaning equipment came in handy). Pizza oven was a nice surprise, and we had the more luxurious lifystyle for the weekend thanks to Karen and Matts dream destination.

I read the reviews and decided to book this place and we were not disappointed. We were rained in upon arriving and this was the best place to be. We cancel our dinner out, ordered a delivery, lit the fire and watched the storm roll in, we played games with the kids and watched a movie. The beds were lux, great coffee, the lounge was perfect for relaxing. The house embraces the 70s and so it's a great trip down memory lane as well. We really enjoyed this house.

Beatrice helped us find her connected loft unit and the main abode to accommodate our large family. We were very happy with the clean home and the lovely yard. Everyone was comfortable and had enough space. Beatrice was also very responsive with our questions. Don't look anywhere else. Will be recommending to our friends.

This is an awesome home. Well furnished and the kitchen has every item you need to cook up a feast. Very spacious and the swim in the river was great. We will be back one day.

An awesome property in a great spot. Debbie was amazing at making sure everything was in order for our stay. The house was pristine and no stone was left unturned. We wished our stay was longer and we will definitely be coming back to stay here! Thanks Debbie!

Beautiful modern and clean apartment conveniently located providing privacy and all day sun. The aircon came in handy too. Very well equipped kitchen including condiments, gladwrap etc and various cooking and serveware. Laundry facilities were also well equipped including a laundry basket, pegs and clothes line. Also included board games which the kids loved. Pool was perfect for the summer heat. Beds, blankets and pillows were very comfortable. We will definitely be back.

Lloyd was a great host. Always responsive and very welcoming. The apartment was clean and cozy. It was the perfect location, close to town and great views! Highly recommend and would definitely come back for our next stay in Taupō!

I thought it was a room under the hosts house however it turned out to be a lovely stand alone unit nicely decorated comfortable bed practical kitchen and lounge with lots of sun nice view of the lake and very peaceful I would highly recommend a stay at Irene's if you are in Taupo. It's a couple of minutes drive to the local dairy Bar and restaurant with nice food. And only about 5 or 6 minutes drive to the town centre

Pamela was absolutely lovely, and her house was immaculate, comfortable, and in a beautiful position overlooking the marina. The beds were so comfortable, the kitchen and bathroom well equipped and immaculate, and the garden was an absolute joy for sitting in. We would highly recommend Pamela’s house; it is easily the loveliest of all the places we have stayed on our trip to NZ.

I didn't stay here personally but my best friend did. She said it was amazing. Clean, tidy, great location. She said Jane went above and beyond. I spoke back n forth with Jane when booking the air bnb and she was super helpful.

We had a fantastic stay at this beautiful home ….. our hosts Marki and Chris were just wonderful and everything about the space and the surroundings was top notch. The furnishings, decor, attention to detail, lovely treats and overall vibe of the home was very special …. Walking distance to the most beautiful little bay, surrounded by nature was awesome. Would thoroughly recommend!!!

We really enjoyed our stay and thought the property was really lovely . The property was in a really good location - easily walkable to the centre but in a really pretty spot by the river and near the Marina and so felt like you were in a peaceful and quiet location. The property was really well maintained - modern design , very light , well furnished , good kitchen with all the appliances etc that you could need. Very clean and tidy. Air con in living room and in bedroom at bottom of house. Note that basic cooking staples ( oil , herbs etc) not included. Not a problem for us but just mentioning so you can bring your own if you want to cook. We really enjoyed the area - loads to do. Overall we were really happy.

Lovely spacious and well equiped kitchen, comfortable cottage and lovely outdoor fire and furniture. Nice large lawn and fully fenced property for pups to run around. Super close to the river and lake. Not far from Tongariro crossing. Perfect getaway.

We really enjoyed our stay here. Great location, walking distance to lake front. We loved the bach feel and admired the decor - ample books, DVDs and family board games to keep you entertained, and a classic table tennis table! Clean, tidy home to enjoy.

Quirky with stunning views! A perfect ending to our holiday. Bach 63 is private and very peaceful. Comfortable, relaxing and so much more! Thank you Lisa for allowing others to enjoy such a beautiful space. We would love to return.

Extremely clean, tidy cosy cottage, well equipped with everything you need. Beds were comfortable, shower pressure good and the heat pump keeps it nice and warm. We loved our stay. Thank you so much

The tūī cottage was an amazing stay! Had every little thing you needed, was super cosy, and Alex was an amazing host, super friendly, super helpful, and was amazing with our really late check in. Super thoughtful with lots of extra goodies. Can’t wait to stay at the tūī cottage next time i’m in Taupo. Beautiful location☺️❤️

Great place to stay right by the lake. Easy to get to Taupo from the house.
