Loved my stay here at the Little Chembuka. Definitely one of the highlights of my trip to India. The room was very comfortable, the location was terrific just by the water and the food & service were fantastic. Jes and his team personally cook up 5* meals every day for you and all the ingredients are fresh. I also did the sunrise tour and food tour which were great. I got taken to some really local and non-touristy places I would never have found on my own. The reviews here really live up to the hype. If you are looking for somewhere great to stay in the backwaters this is it!

Absolutely beautiful place that just stands out by sunrise and sunset. Rooms were neat and clean with an old school look. Food was amazing. Fish is freshly procured from local market. Please ask for kallu which is freshly made. Location is a bit tough to get into if you have a bigger car and most tourist places are bit far off. We had used the day to just unwind in the room so we didn't mind it.

We had a wonderful stay at Sebastian’s place. Swapna and Sebastian were so welcoming and made us all feel at home. They went out of their way to help us with everything we requested, including arranging a yoga class and houseboat trip. They have three wonderful children, who were very happy to chat with us and made us feel part of the family. Swapna made us delicious breakfasts and also cooked us a fantastic Kerala dinner one evening. The house is a very short walk from the beach and we had a wonderful time going in and out of the gloriously warm water. We also had some fantastic food at the local restaurant- we particularly recommend ‘the fisherman cafe’. We had the best time and will definitely come back if we find ourselves in Marari again!

Beautiful place and garden, you walk in the sand to the beach, where you’ll find a nice little Beach café with the best Jackfruit shake. If you leave the house and turn left, you’ll find a fish restaurant with excellent food. Thanks for welcoming us!

This is a must-do experience/stay while visiting Alappuzha, Kerala. I’ve wanted to do this for a while, and choosing this houseboat option was totally worth it.

Great place, walkable distance from beach. clean accomodation. the bed can comfortably accommodate 3 people. The food that aunty made was sooo yum both veg and non veg . It was affordable also. sherin was super helpful and was always available over a call. she is friendly and helps you out for all the local doubts we have.

Loved our stay at Tranquil Waters. It’s a beautiful property on the lake side. My family enjoyed a lot. Jacob and Neetu answered all our questions. Jacob met us during our check in and recommended few activities. We went on a kayak tour which we loved. The pool was amazing and my baby loved playing in the pool. Geetha chechi’s food is to die for. She cooked some amazing food while we were there. I would definitely recommend this place for your family.

Peaceful stay.. perfect way for me to welcome 2025! Its a beautiful 2 bedroom space with a coomon room n spacious verandah towards the backside of the home. There is also backwaters behind the house which makes for perfect early mornings n evenings. The best time i spent was early mornings by the backwaters - could see flock of ducks pass by, locals taking boats going to their destinations, and the beautiful sunrise hitting the waters - just gorgeous! Jeffin was amazing - very responsive, helpful, and the complimentary breakfast provided was yummy Kerala style. Thank you for all the help during the stay. If you are looking for a serene place with calming vibes and gorgeous tropical climate then please book a stay.

a perfect place for our office anniversary trip. we had a great time with such a great ambience and the availability of outdoor sports made it a fun day. the sunset cruise was beautiful and special thanks to Sebin the caretaker for carrying one of our colleagues, who had a cast on his leg, to and from the boat. overall highly recommend this place for a fun, intimate gathering.
