This delightful family seaside cottage was a great stay for a large family, great value for money and great location. The place was clean and welcoming; as you enter the front door, you can see the ocean view. There is plenty space for everyone to stretch out and relax, lots of seating and dining areas both inside and outside on the sea facing porch. There are double stacking doors which open and maximise the living space (and the magic). There is a private entrance to the beach with a short and easy walk to the beach. My brother has a physical disability and uses crutches, and he was able to easily navigate this path to beach and back, and this is an extremely rare bonus feature. Big bedrooms with comfy beds, and ample cupboard space for your clothing & luggage. Every room has powerful ceiling fans. The showers were hot, and the pressure was great! A big garden space for kids to run around in and a swing to keep them entertained. A well-stocked kitchen with all the items you’d need; all very clean and well presented. Alexandra’s communication is superb – from immediate initial contact to instructions beforehand and to check everything was ok once we had checked in. Fortunately, Michael is also on site, knows the property, knows how everything works and was very accommodating to our needs/requests. We could not have asked for a better location. Overall a wonderful place; We would definitely recommend, as we feel so lucky to have found this little treasure along the beautiful South Coast.

Thank you Liz for a beautiful stay! We thoroughly enjoyed the peace, whales and dolphin watching, the beach was clean and stunning to listen to even though it was the windy month. We will definitely be back!

Fantastic place to stay, right on the beach and a beautiful place to relax.

Rod’s place is set in the most stunning area of the coast. Sheffield beach is beautiful! The view from this well appointed, comfortable home is breath taking. Access directly onto beach down a few stairs. The sun rises were magnificent and we were even fortunate enough to spot a pod of dolphins in front of the house. Highly recommend this place for a quiet, peaceful holiday. About a 10min drive to the shops so a car is recommended.

John's place was magnificent. from the design of the house ,to the ample space ,everything was perfect . the pool was dirty though we got back late from the beach every day never needed it . his place is amazing had 5 bathrooms so even though we were a big group no1 needed to wait for a bathroom etc the rooms were spacious, I would certainly recommend his place . we had abit of power issues which was due to eskom but John had organized a generator ,chose to leave it on for our comfort until he made a alternative plan not many hosts would go that extra mile and iv stayed at many airbnb homes in my life you could clearly see it's not all about the money with him really appreciate it ...

The place was extremely comfortable & had stunning views.. Our host went above & beyond to make us feel welcomed. Also ensuring we had everything we needed throughout our stay... We will definitely come again...

Thank you Dave for letting us stay at your beautiful house. It was definitely better than the pictures. Awesome awesome views and close to the beach. A stunning garden with a lovely verandah that we really enjoyed just watching the sea. House was clean welcoming and spacious. Just disappointed that I booked so few days. But will definitely come back there if available. Dave was proactive also responded promptly and was very helpful. We miss the place already.
