This is a really lovely location, with great view of the Tugela River and the Colenso hills. Very peaceful and comfortable stay and an extremely well-equipped kitchen! The farm milk is a perfect extra touch. Just be aware that the last few kilometres are over extremely poor roads so avoid driving there during darkness.

Amazing stay! Lora was incredibly welcoming and made sure everything was perfect. The place was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had all the amenities we needed. The location was ideal. The check-in process was smooth, and communication was excellent throughout our stay. Had a great stay... Needed the place for comrades weekend at a pretty late stage and this was an amazing place. There is a gravel road to the farm, but it's well maintained. Would highly recommend if you're a big group.

Thank you so much for letting us stay in your beautiful log cabin - it felt like paradise on earth. The fact that this property is pet friendly was perfect! Our dogs had the time of their lives and so did we. The fire place and extra blankets were a lifesaver and we were even treated to some snow on the mountain tops. We had so much fun! We enjoyed our weekend stay, it was beautiful and peaceful. We even got to feed a few sheep on the farm and felt so relaxed when heading home.

What a lovely stay we had, we checked in for 10 days and it was lovely, friendly Host and so helpful with suggestions of local surroundings and places to go eat. We had a little dog with us and it was a fenced off area witch was great for the dog to go outside and in a safe environment. The garden was lovely and the beach was within walking distance. The accommodation was suitable for myself, my husband and our 8 year old daughter, we stayed comfortably and felt like home whilst we were on Holiday. I would Highly recommend them to anyone.

We had a lovely 5 day stay in the cottage. The kitchen is well kitted out and the Braai was well suited for our needs. The bathroom was our favourite part, very whimsically decorated. Derrek is a very accommodating host and we wanted for nothing.

My friends and I had an awesome time at this place. It’s such a cool spot with great views. We had a good time sitting around the fire, using the donkey boiler, walking around the area, and going into nearby Underberg.

We had a lovely stay at Guy’s log cabin. The cabin is neat and clean and has everything you need. We enjoyed the outside braai area & deck. Thanks for having us.

Simon was an incredible host and has a beautiful home with access to Umkobi Beach. I loved that he had additional resources that could be used to enhance the experience. The location is perfect; on a sunny day, it is paradise and worth every penny. The home is spacious and family-friendly.

Each morning and afternoon, we found ourselves strolling to a pristine beach just a short walk away – a ritual that quickly became the highlight of our days. The check-in process was smooth and hassle-free, thanks to Renee and her husband, who were simply wonderful. They provided excellent recommendations, extra keys when needed, and were always on hand to help, though everything went off without a hitch. Our time at the cabin left a lasting impression on our hearts. The warmth and beauty of the experience are something we will cherish forever. We can’t wait to return and relive the magic.
