Absolutely stunning place! Best thunderstorms if you love them like me. A truly peaceful haven for those who need the peace and quiet.

Was perfect for our guys, great location. Elsebeth was very accommodating and easy to communicate with.

Cottage was actually better than the photos. Was lovely and clean, also very helpful to have Sylvia help out with cleaning etc, she was lovely. Comfortable beds and good linen. Fire not working which was a little disappointing the first night as it was chilly, not needed after that.. hopefully will be available in the future.

very big house that allows you to your space and feel at home . town is near everything is near so no need to stress on anything that is missing. I went there with my crew and the guys loved how quite and free spirited the area is . we had fun and Im surely coming back

Place was exactly as it was shown on the picture. Very clean and beautiful, we enjoyed our stay.

Nikky and Tom were extremely helpful and very responsive even from before we arrived. Weeks before we arrived they offered us to spend time at the pool area if we arrived early. On the day they called to say we can do an early check in which was great especially after a long trip. From the time we arrived they immediately came out to help. We had a 5 foot trailer which Tom was so kind to help push into the parking area. Pool and 24hr Heated Jacuzzi was sparkling. The family spent hours in there. Nikky and Tom take great care of their home and their guests. Thank you for being excellent hosts and a memorable stay.

We needed accommodation for 10 people but unfortunately only four people used the house due to a medical emergency. 10 people would have had plenty of space. The house felt luxurious and spacious , beautifully decorated. Anele stayed on the premisis and was available when needed. Thank you for sharing your lovely colonial house with us. great location, clean and well serviced, very secure with boom gate security and entrance staff. there are some items that need maintenance in the apartment, like ligh bulbs, light switches etc.. but didn't impact us much. recomend it for an Umhlanga stay.

We had an amazing time, the views are amazing, easy access to the beach.

The accommodation was as expected. I particularly liked that I could park my car securely. I suppose it's a matter of personal preference, but I would have liked to have met Victoria on arrival or at some time during my visit. That's just because I find human contact preferable to having all communication in writing. Nevertheless, the instructions were very clear. I'd stay there again in future and definitely recommend it to others as a reasonably priced B&B option.

Gail was a great host! She was so friendly and made us feel at ease with the whole checkin process. The apartment is absolutely gorgeous and has everything you need to relax and enjoy the beauty that is Durban. With beautiful views of the harbour, you can spend hours just watching the world go by.

This Stay was absolutely the best one in the whole of KZN, Not to Brag- but my 4 year old Son said can we come back here i love this house. So Jess You will be definitely see us soon again. Thank you for everything (Everything i mean ) You the best.🥰😍😘

Great stay at Luke's apartment - really easy access across the road to the public beach for tidal pools and swimming. We didn't use the swimming pool but that seemed in good condition too. Large main bedroom with ample storage (and a fan we were very grateful for!), the second bedroom was also suitable for our needs (two adults) and had cupboard storage too. The kitchen was well stocked with crockery and cutlery, we did not find any basics like oil and salt/pepper which meant getting our own - though this wasn't a problem. We made use of the aircon in the living room, really great extra to have on humid days. We loved the outdoor area too, semi-private with people walking past every now and again for the pool or beach access. Overall would definitely stay again - thanks for the hospitality :)

Stephanie was a very gracious host who welcomed us in her beautiful space. It was the perfect abode for us to rest and recharge in, and there’s a supermarket very close by. There isn’t much to do in the location but we didn’t mind. We felt safe at all times but we were told not to walk outside after sundown. The facilities of the Airbnb are great and Stephanie provided us some fruit, yogurt, milk, butter, etc, the basics for a breakfast, which was very nice. Would recommend this place!

Khosi's place was exactly the way it was described, it's a peaceful and clean place, she's also very responsive and that helped a lot. My partner and I really enjoyed staying there, wish we could've extended our stay but we'll definitely will be coming back again.

Bronwyn met me at check in time. Gave good instructions. The few times I had questions (e.g. regarding the AC and the loadshedding instructions) she responded quickly and addressed the issue.

Sheena's place was spotless, beautifully decorated, and exactly as described in the listing. Waking up to the sound of the waves and enjoying breathtaking ocean views from the balcony was truly unforgettable. She went above and beyond to ensure our comfort, providing thoughtful touches like fresh towels and helpful local recommendations. Her communication was exceptional — they were always prompt, friendly, and ready to answer any questions I had, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable.

As a serial Airbnb’er, suffice to say this was the best Airbnb experience I’ve ever had, will certainly be staying again as the go-to if I revisit the area. You will not find a better and more convenient location to stay in Umhlanga. Perfect for 2/3 people, drinking water tap, spotlessly clean everyday, parking, close to everything, amazingly accommodating hosts, right above a supermarket, security too. Honestly, if you’re looking at this place for 2/3 people and it’s still available for your dates, snap it up now before it goes, you won’t regret it!

what a beautiful home. quiet. clean. peaceful and easy to get around. great friendly host. there was a book full of recommendations on the dining room table. beach is less than 10 minutes away. close by shopping centre. I'd definitely go there again and recommend to others

Loren’s place was an amazing stay. Checking in was seamless. The hosts were very welcoming. Our long trip away from home with the children felt like home away from home. The place had all the amenities that you could ask for. The views are amazing! It was a great and pleasant stay. Would definitely recommend to anyone who wants to visit Ballito.
