Our family only stayed for a weekend, but we felt so rested it was like a holiday. Jan was so helpful and friendly, providing many personal touches and spoils. We enjoyed nature and the outside spaces. Loved the open plan and openness with rhe stacker doors. We will definitely return.

Great open plan & spacious home! The master bedroom particularly stands out! The estate is great with a variety of places to eat and explore. Appreciated the facilities as we had a toddler so this made life a lot easier.

Beautiful location and warm, comfortable home. Our family of 4 loved our week and tried to extend another week however it was already booked. We would go back in a minute! Such an incredible location with great hiking and stunning mountain views. The home is well stocked for cooking and baking, was extremely clean and Girlie stopped by everyday to tidy up! Truly a gem.

Jessica's place is really beautiful and perfectly located for a weekend out in the mountains. Nice hikes are nearby and all you need for a nice weekend available. Jessica is a great and helpful host. Would definitely stay at her place again.

We felt right as home the moment we walked in. This airbnb is perfect for those who want a relaxing getaway…..from the homely layout to the views from the balcony enjoying a drink and a braai. We highly recommend it and wish we could have stayed longer.

In ALL the places I've ever booked at, none compares the Mevynne's home. What a GEM!. It had absolutely everything you'd ever need on holiday & way more, she thought of everything!.My family & I had such a lovely stay & we're looking forward to booking this place again. You'd just have to ensure you have your own wifi router (data can also be purchased for the existing one)for the Smart TV & bring/purchase drinking water otherwise everything else is there (as in EVERYTHING). The place is truly a home away from home!

The veranda offers stunning views of the hills and lake—a perfect spot for your morning coffee or evening sundowner. The outdoor braai area, complete with ample seating and shelter, is ideal for gathering in any season while soaking up the tranquil atmosphere.

The host was incredibly welcoming, and the accommodation was spotless, spacious, and very comfortable. The location was stunning, with beautiful views. The security staff were attentive and always ready to assist.

As a 1st time Airbnb user the experience was fantastic, the host thought of everything that would make one miss home, especially the kids , stable wifi, board games , emergency 🆘 kit should loadshading, constant updates with information. Will highly recommend the place, accessible to the nearest mall , beautiful beaches and beautiful pool inside the Estate for days that you want to relax home and have a braai , friendly security I must add 🙏 Highly recommend

The place match my expectations. I will book again very soon. The only issue was I find 4/6 coaches on the pillows which made me scared The WiFi wasn’t connecting as well as TV perhaps it was through weather The place is beautiful worth every cent

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Thimble Cottage and have already booked a return trip. Our highlights were the magnificent view and sunsets from the veranda as well as swimming and fishing in the dam. Can’t wait to go back!

first off Rosemary is a great host , my car was low and she organized for me to park by another cottage to avoid the rough terrain, she fetched and dropped us off from where my car was parked about 500m aways from our stay whenever we needed to go out 10 out of 10 to her, the cottage is great, clean, private and spacious lovely views, lovely farm, thank you to Rosemary for going the extra mile

We had a wonderful long weekend at Sunbird Cottage which is very homely in a stunning setting. The farm offered us plenty of opportunity to explore the Wakkerstroom area, and we even enjoyed two walks on the farm itself. The farm fresh milk, eggs and jam were a treat and absolute spoil!

We had a wonderful 2 nights at Di's place. Beautifully decorated with thoughtful touches. Well equipped kitchen with sharp knives! Dreamy garden with lots of little 'garden rooms' for a morning coffee or sundowner. Then, to top it off, a delivery of freshly baked muffins with farm butter every morning. Thank you Di, we had a very special stay with you, will most certainly be back when we are next in the Midlands.

Amazing location, and access to Drakensurg Sun facilities is a bonus. Plenty of activities to do - hiking, swimming, horse riding, canoeing, abseiling, all right on your doorstep

We had an incredible stay at this wonderful place as a family. The atmosphere was truly peaceful, and we couldn’t get enough of the amazing views that surrounded us. The property was serene and perfect for a relaxing getaway. A special thanks to our hosts, Erica and her husband, who were exceptional. Their warm hospitality made our experience even more memorable. We highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a tranquil escape with stunning scenery and outstanding hosts. We’d love to return someday!

Loved everything about the place, everything is well thought, lovely quiet and peaceful surrounding. Place has everything you will need, and the things you never think of, they are there. Lovely host, goes over and beyond, really appreciated that, i will definitely be coming back.
