Fantastic & beautiful stay! They were sweet to allow us to meet all of their animals!! We loved the secluded location, however the only bummer is that we had no internet/wifi, including use of our hotspots. Which worked out fine, because it allowed us to unplug & be present! But we would have also loved to watch movies at night. The place was extremely clean & Clark & Lora were very quick to respond! Would definitely recommend!

We loved our stay at the Woodshed! A short drive from downtown Wimberley but away from the traffic. Really enjoyed the hot tub and even watched one of the many movies they provided. The mornings were spent with our coffee on the porch. All for a great price. Debbie was very detailed with both instructions and things to do and see! We will definitely come back!

Loved staying at Freedom Yurt! Very relaxing, clean, and peaceful little get away. Loved how different it was staying here but didn’t break the bank. They gave recommendations on places to see, eat at, etc. which was great to have!

This was our third time to stay here. As always it’s secluded and quiet. Great amenities and decor. A very relaxing and peaceful getaway for our anniversary!

We had a fabulous weekend! Just what we were looking for, a private and quiet getaway. House was cute and well stocked with everything we needed to cook and grill. Pool, sauna and hot tub! Can’t go wrong here!

We stayed for a romantic weekend and cannot wait to come back. The cabin was cozy and comfortable, had everything we needed, and was nice and private. I particularly loved the claw foot tub- such a treat to soak! I also appreciated the clear instructions on how to find the cabin. 5 stars.

We were looking for a place to spend a week away from the hustle and bustle of life and celebrate my wife’s birthday surrounded by nature and a relaxing environment. Bee Creek Cottage could not have been more perfect. Coffee every morning on the patio while watching the hummingbirds, walks and the hot tub in the evening and quiet afternoons in the hammock. It was truly an incredible stay and Mark was a fantastic host. We look forward to returning and enjoying this property again. Angel’s Icehouse a few minutes down the road was the perfect place for dinner, drinks and a fun outdoor vibe. All in all- a gem!

We have been going through a lot personally and decided on a kid free weekend. It was everything we could have hoped for. Very well equipped, and perfect distance from the lake. Love everything about it.

Check in was easy as the host provided detailed instructions and warned of poor cell service when approaching. They were super friendly and made sure we were accommodated the entire trip. We enjoyed a delicious breakfast prepared by our host! The property is beautiful and serene. There are many nature related things to do in the area but we enjoyed the back patio more than anything! Would highly recommend.

Myra and Colin were so chill and very accommodating for my girlfriends birthday. They put up banners, balloons and even wrote a message as well for her before entering the cabin....she loved everything. We had a tour of the property and fed the zebras, ostrich and donkeys throughout our stay....it was really cool and my girlfriend loves animals...especially, the exotics they had from the eland, wildebeest, oryx and the gazelles. This was a FANTASTIC birthday for my girlfriend and she really had a good time overall. 😊 Thank you very much, Myra and Colin for your hospitality.

I booked this cabin for my fiancés birthday. I was looking for a place where we could relax, enjoy nature, and feel far from the city and busy schedules. This place did not disappoint! We were able to spend quality time together while hanging out in the river or simply enjoying the ambience of the cabin and property. Bonus points for being pet friendly! I loved being able to include my Pebbles in our trip and adventures!

Amazing location close enough to Austin but feels like being on your own private ranch.

It is safe to say that our family has made Callie's cabin our favorite retreat. Just 20-minutes from our home in San Antonio, when we stay here we feel like we are completely alone with beautiful and peaceful surroundings. We love that the cabin is always amazingly clean and well-maintained, yet we love that it feels older and is very rustic! Callie is always super communicative and extremely prompt in replying to any question or request. I probably ought to stop writing these reviews because we hope the calendar will never be too full ;-) as you can bet we'll keep coming back!

Julie’s place was great! It was a perfect place to get away with our pups, and it was close to Camp Lucy for a wedding we were attending. Would love to stay again!

This home was the perfect weekend getaway. Had everything we needed and was perfectly described. I absolutely loved it here, would definitely come back in the future!

Our stay at Heather's place was absolutely perfect! We stayed for three days and two nights. The area is very peaceful and beautiful. Heather was extremely accommodating which I truly appreciated. In addition to our wonderful stay she took the time to leave us a handwritten note to greet us and provided us with a delicious bottle of local wine. if you're looking for a wonderful place to stay, you most definitely want to stay here.

The stay was very relaxing. We purchased the use of the hot tub which was nice. The host was very responsive and friendly. The host provided fishing poles and we stayed a couple of hours down by the lake, but please be careful the travel was alittle steep. Other than that the pictures and amenities were as posted.

I just had the most wonderful experience! Everything was absolutely amazing, from the moment I arrived until the time I left. The space was not only clean but also tidy and incredibly welcoming, making me feel right at home. Honestly, it exceeded all my expectations in every way! The attention to detail and care taken in maintaining such a pristine environment truly made my stay feel special. I can't wait to come back again soon; it's become one of my favorite spots! Thank you for such a delightful experience!

4 days on the property and didn't see a single soul. property is near other homes so you'll hear others living their lives during the day... working in the shed, kids playing, car alarms, etc. But mornings and evenings are pretty quiet. property is a good balance of out door camping and convenience of shelter and electricity. good option for a quick get away from Austin, not too long of a drive. outdoor space is great with picnic table, fire pit and hammock. Jay was super helpful and responsive.

We had a great time at Carrie’s place. We had the whole area to ourselves and the view was very nice and peaceful.

This place is such a gem! The love and attention that went into building this cabin does not go unrecognized. The property is secluded and has the most spectacular hill country views! Getting to the house involves some “off-roading”, that with the right car is VERY fun! There’s a river crossing and some spiraling roads. We saw wild hogs, turkeys, deer, foxes, donkeys and critters on our weekend trip. Suzanne was an excellent host and was very responsive. I truly can’t wait to come back!

The cabin was beautiful, looked just like the pictures, perfect for families! Also, the cabin came fully stocked with everything you need, to cook and clean. Had some challenges with TV, streaming apps would go in and out having server connectivity issues but overall did not negatively impact our stay. The windows are huge and really allow for a great viewing experience, the fire pit and grill also are a great thing to have. Look forward to coming back, especially once the construction is fully complete, and amenities are available. Host Jacob, was very kind and responsive, the one thing I would recommend is that the shower water pressure and temperature be improved, I saw similar feedback in a review and was hoping it would be addressed prior to our stay but water pressure for hot water, was very low. Location was Amazing!! So close to H-E-B and other food places etc. My family and I would stay again in a heartbeat, really enjoyed our stay!!!
