Thank you April and Tony for a beautiful, peaceful stay. The whole experience was restorative for us. We will long remember the gorgeous valley and mountain view, the ever-changing clouds, and the wide variety of birds. We could tell that you put a lot of thought into making the cottage comfortable for a longer stay. The kitchen was well equipped and we had pretty much everything we needed.

Really enjoyed my night here before going rafting on the Pacuare. The house was really safe, clean and had everything needed. The town was very peaceful with good restaurants, parks and bakeries all just a nice walk away. Carmela was so helpful and nice to communicate with.

We’ve stayed at Michael’s home twice now. It’s perfectly situated for activities in and around the Guapiles area. The host is extremely responsive and helpful. A minor TV/internet glitch which was resolved promptly with no hassle. If you’re looking for a clean, comfortable home with all the necessities you can end your search right here. This home is definitely a keeper.

Beautifully designed, practical, comfortable and well equipped apartment with gorgeous patio, surrounded by a coffee plantation. Communication was great and I felt at home right from the start. Very recommended for a month or longer stays.

Nice furnishings and unique set up with kitchen and bathrooms separate from the dome but just literally step outside the dome door. The breakfast was fabulous and was in a traditional banana leaf with rice, bacon, eggs. This is as close to camping as I like to get. The windows are plastic so it's not entirely clear to see out but it's still unique. There are two domes on the property and next door is another house rental. It's along a gravel road with other residences and pretty quiet. Community cat a friendly guest who shows up just as the food is delivered. Use Waze to find it.

Wonderful location, with stunning views. All the amenities we needed. It would have been really great to have had more information on the local area - especially the Coffee experiences in Acquarias, and also more information about restaurants near by !
