Terry is a perfect host. Despite my delay in response due to various reasons, he tried his best to communicate with me and help me organize the entire trip in this area. The driver and guide he introduced are friendly, knowledgeable and professional. Livio, the manager on site, is a warm and hospitable person that are available 24/7 to anything we need. We all love him! Location-wise, the property is a hidden gem just off the main (and only) road between Cusco and Machu Picchu, and not too far from either end. There is a well-managed cozy garden in the property, lots of flowers and birds. Everyone enjoyed relaxing in this lovely garden. They also have a small vegetable farm that provides fresh, delicious and organic vegetables to those who do self-catering. The rooms and facilities are as per the descriptions and pics suggest. The kitchen is ample in size and fully-equipped. Toiletries were provided. Everything is clean and in good condition. All-in-all, a perfect home away from home, especially for larger group of friends and families. I hope I could have stayed there longer. Mi experiencia en el Hatun Inti Hotel fue absolutamente perfecta. Desde el momento en que llegué, todo superó mis expectativas. El cuarto estaba impecable, con una atención al detalle que hacía sentir como en casa. El jacuzzi fue un verdadero lujo, ideal para relajarse después de un día explorando. El desayuno, variado y delicioso, destacaba por la calidad y frescura de los ingredientes, pero lo que realmente marcó la diferencia fueron los masajes, que fueron simplemente excepcionales, una experiencia profundamente relajante. Sin embargo, lo mejor de todo fue el personal: atentos, amables y siempre dispuestos a hacer que la estadía fuera inolvidable. Realmente hicieron la diferencia, brindando un servicio de primera categoría que demuestra cuánto valoran a sus huéspedes. Recomiendo este hotel sin dudarlo. ¡Volvería sin pensarlo dos veces!

Our room was cozy, clean, and basic. We were in the top unit so had the best view, although anyone could walk up to the rooftop terrace to see the 360 degree view. Ollantaytambo is incredibly scenic and interesting and well worth a day or two of exploration. Edison's location was very convenient. The breakfast was good (eggs, bananas, rolls, margarine, jam, coffee, tea, & juice) and we enjoyed our conversations with Edison. This hostal only has six or seven units and we enjoyed the smaller scale of things along with the central garden space. For advice, try out Apu Veronica restaurant, which Edison recommended to us. Easily the most spectacular meal of our trip and very reasonably priced.
