Loved this little gem! Such a cool little space with everything you need with an island feel. Plenty of space for us, our 2 little kids and my sister. Definitely recommend and will definitely stay here again next time we come down to visit family.

This by far was the most spectacular Airbnb we have stayed at in LaCrosse. From the moment we walked in it was peaceful and beautiful. We especially loved the colorful chalkboard with all the local suggestions of places to go. It is such a quick drive toGranddad‘s Bluff and also a very easy drive to the downtown area! 100% I will be rebooking this in the future for any other trips I have there!!! Marty is a fabulous host.

The location was excellent for our stay in Lacrosse. The history of this place was well documented and a pleasure to experience. The interior decor is a must see, wonderful preservation of original flooring and trim. Comfortable beds, spacious rooms and gathering areas. The kitchen met all of our needs and the bathrooms were designed well.

This was such a beautiful historic house. It was perfect for our group, and the bowling alley was a fun activity! We will definitely be coming back!

We stayed in Kirsten's place about 10 days and liked it very much. It has everything we need. The apartment is quite and with beautiful view of the river. Will come back again.

Cute place! Looked just like the photos. Wonderful restaurant and fantastic cafe just steps away. Owner provided all needed travel necessities - dishes, coffee maker, travel shampoo and conditioner, hair dryer, etc. Only disappoint was the musty smell in the apartment, like it had been closed up for some time. The place definitely needed airing out. Overall though, a wonderful stay! Would recommend!

The house was beautiful and exactly as described. Everything felt very clean and there were not a lot of checkout tasks. It was a very kid friendly house which we appreciated. We had issues getting inside with the keypad but they sent the neighbor over immediately to let us in. I’m ranking this Airbnb overall a 5 however the personal communication with the hosts was lacking. They had provided a phone number for us to reach out to with questions. There was a snow storm coming through the day before our checkout and we were worried about traveling. We also had part of our group sick with the flu. I messaged on the app and number provided to see if there was any flexibility for us to reschedule to another open weekend. We would have gladly accepted if they had said no to rescheduling because we were past the cancellation period however they never responded to me. The only messages I received from them were all automated from Airbnb. It was strange that they never followed up.

Beth was a great host! We did not have any issues or need to reach out but Beth checked in anyway to make sure we had settled in okay. The place was even more spacious than the pictures. We had a large group of friends stay and had plenty of room. The Airbnb had everything labeled and easy to find. The attention to detail made our trip extra special. The house had everything from lawn chairs to tooth brushes. The house was very clean and organized. We had a great time and would definitely choose to stay here again!

We had a wonderful stay! The property was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. The kitchen was well-stocked with cooking utensils, which made it easy for us to prepare meals. The location was excellent—a short drive from the La Crosse Rotary Christmas lights, which we really enjoyed visiting during our (winter) stay. While it was nice in winter, we can imagine it being even more perfect in spring or summer, given its proximity to the river and nearby parks. The hosts were fantastic—they communicated very well prior to check-in and even went the extra mile to repair the a last min issue with the refrigerator in time for our stay. Their attention to detail and effort truly made a difference. We would definitely love to return!

Staying at the A.C. Carter home was a wonderful experience. The home's historic documents, collection of period furnishings, pet friendly, various amenities, including a karaoke machine, was fantastic; I'm sure my wife has heard my renditions of Born to Be Wild and I walk the Line enough to last a few weeks... or at least until I get my own karaoke machine too "polish" things up a bit ;) Our host, Signe, provided a lot of recommendations for local activates, attractions, and places to eat. While we had no need to contact our host, everything we used or needed had clear instructions handy; I'm sure any needs we may have had would have been handled promptly. We enjoyed ourselves very much at the A.C. Carter home and in La Crosse. Jim & Susan (+Zenith and Glory)

This is the second time we rented this property with a group of friends. We plan to stay there again when we return to visit La Crosse.

This place was perfect for our group of ice fisherman. Right on the water and directly next to the bait shop. Lisa was very friendly and was easy to work with. 10/10, will be returning.

Very clean and just a quick Uber ride to downtown. Loved the game room set up in the garage! Plenty of amenities for those who like to cook. Comfortable home for sure.

The house was super clean and very well put together. She communicated very well with us and would 100% stay at this lovely home again.
