This was a dream to stay at. The beds were very comfortable, and there were copious amounts of pillows. The bikes, sand toys,, and beach gear were amazing! We lacked for nothing. The only thing is the two parking spots are within a 2 small garages that only fits a car the size of a Honda Civic and even that was difficult to get in and out of. Everyone had to unload before the Civic drove into the empty garage. Our SUV definitely could not fit.

Suzy was very responsive and was able to accommodate us on a moment’s notice. The property and oceans views were extraordinary. We enjoyed early morning coffee watching the surfers, walks in the nearby park and the best sunset views in all of San Diego. It felt like home!

Michael is an excellent host. He was very friendly and accommodating. The house is absolutely beautiful! It provides a great view of the ocean and is near so many restaurants in Pacific Beach. Great house and great stay!

Great house with amazing views of Sail Bay from the roof deck. House was exactly as advertised. It’s a short walk to the beach and basically on the bay. Very clean and well stocked. Garage is one of the larger ones in the area and was very easy to get in and out of with a midsize SUV. Would certainly stay again.

AWESOME location & central to downtown with restaurants & breweries! Our dogs loved the gated in yard & beautiful view of the ocean. Truly a relaxing place! Overall, VERY clean & updated house with plenty of room to unwind. We will be back!

This was our first time in Mission Beach, and really enjoyed our time there despite the cold weather. The location was great, 1 minute walk to beach, less than 10 minute walk to tons of restaurants and Belmont Park. I really appreciated that they had chairs for the beach along with other fun beach items. The place was super clean and cozy, had everything we needed. Would definitely come back.

Great home in a great neighborhood! Literally 5 minutes from front door to beach! Very spacious home with amazing outdoor courtyard in the middle of the house and large kitchen. Great for a family get together. Each bed was large and accommodating. Will definitely stay again on our next trip to Carlsbad.

This was such a great location! Away from a lot of the tourists but just an easy walk to the beach and restaurants. The Airbnb was super clean with a lot of thoughtful touches. The hosts were very friendly and easy to get ahold of.

The Bee Hive was so cute. We had so much fun. We love Encinitas. We parked our full-size suv in the designated parking spot and didn’t use it the whole time we were there. We walked to the beach, we walked to get coffee in the mornings, we walked to shops and we even did d 2 different escape roomed on 2 different days. We can’t wait to go back!

We had a lovely stay at the Maple Beach House. Excellent location - very short walk to beach and nearby Carlsbad village restaurants. The front patio area was absolutely wonderful (and very clean). Great to sit and sip your morning coffee or enjoy a meal outside in the beautiful weather. The fire pit was so relaxing and the perfect end to each night. Inside the home is also very clean and well maintained. Beds were very comfortable. Large capacity washer and dryer were also helpful when washing beach towels. Big thank you to host Rachel who was very kind and helpful! Hope to stay again and recommend highly to anyone considering this property!

The beach house was wonderful. We stayed here with two kids. It's a 2 min walk to the beach in a very quiet neighborhood. The house had everything we needed and more (even had a pack n play and a wagon to haul stuff to beach or around the zoo, etc) There are two outdoor patios which are lovely. Very family friendly. The host is also very responsive and accommodating! One important note if you've never been to San Diego - this neighborhood is directly below the flight path to the airport. The listing mentions it too, but be aware if you're a sensitive sleeper. Flights stop around 11.30pm but at 6.30am there is a stampede of a planes for about 45 min.

Just a block and a half from the most beautiful beach, and walkable to tons of restaurants, the location was ideal. This little house had everything we needed—very nice fully equipped kitchen, clean updated bathroom, bed was comfortable and nice to have a bedroom separate from living area. Paid washer and dryer and detergent was appreciated. We stayed a week, and it was perfect. Would stay again in a minute. Highly recommended.

The house was great - convenient, well-appointed and clean. The location was great, a nice beach community (though it was winter, so it was blissfully quiet during our stay). Brian was very responsive and helpful, although we had no issues with the accommodations, so our communications were very limited.

The house was in a perfection location for our trip with two couples: quiet residential block, but steps away from wonderful shops, restaurants, beach, and areas to walk. The host's communication was excellent. We were provided with many detailed recommendations, both right in the area and surrounding areas, too. Added touches like the parking pass for Torrey Pines State Reserve made things so easy. When we were there, one of the e-bikes needed service, so if you are hoping to use them, ask if they are both available. When we made the host aware, he was responsive. Beds were super comfortable and the house had all that you'd expect for an easy stay. Great host, great house, great location. Would go back for sure.

We absolutely loved our stay at this beautiful home. It’s hard to find beach houses this close to the ocean that are both comfortable and stylish and clean, but this certainly fit the bill. We adored the lush back yard, appreciated the extra towels and beach gear, and thought the beds were super comfy. There is a tenant upstairs (as noted in the listing) but it wasn’t a big issue for us. Parking is a BIT tricky due to the busy-ish road the home is on, but free and easy enough to fit two cars. And it really is steps to the beach! Can’t recommend this house enough.
