Host was very responsive and helpful. The home was in a very convenient area with easy access to everything. We did rent a vehicle to accommodate our travel. If you are using a ride share to commute, I highly recommend that you reconsider and rent a car. It’s worth it! If you are a pet owner this won’t affect you; we had individuals in our party that do not have pets. So, the smell was sensitive to our non-pet parents. If you are looking for a convenient location and great house, this is a wonderful choice. Only suggestions that I have for the host, have wash cloths available in addition to the large bath towels as well as nights stands and luggage racks.

This place reminded me what San Diego is all about. The location is perfect - a quick bike ride to sunset cliffs, the ocean visible from the front porch, and a 5 minute walk from the main strip of Ocean Beach. Absolutely loved everything from the bikes to the lemon tree to the comfiest bed and blankets ever. The home is equipped well with bathroom and kitchen electronics as well. Outside of the home, Joshua is extremely kind and let us check in early since our previous arrangements did not work out. I can’t gush about this place enough.

I loved this cottage, it’s location, and our experience. The exterior: private, behind a wooden fence steps away from the sidewalk, with the cutest succulent garden with some tasteful décor. The interior: meticulously curated vintage and retro-style pieces, always something to look at, I appreciate that it wasn’t an IKEA bulk order but a lot of love and care and personality. And it’s SO clean and doesn’t feel cluttered at all! I loved the round yellow bathroom tile, the kitchen sink, the leather chair and ottoman in the living room. So many gems all around. Katrina was a gem herself!!! My toddler got sick (yuck) in bed the first night, and K came to our rescue the next morning with new linens, completely kindhearted and understanding. Related- the free laundry was a godsend to have with a kid, and to simply not have to pack a ton! And the beach gear, stocked supplies in the cabinets, they thought of everything! ❤️

Caroline’s place is in a great location within walking distance of anything you could possibly want/need. The outdoor space is a lovely additional space for morning and afternoon coffee/drinks. The space may be tight for more than two people, but for a couple it is ideal for a visit to San Diego. Would definitely book again.

Great communication, very private would highly recommend for a romantic getaway right in walking distance of lots of good food and fun things to do. Would highly recommend!

Jamal's home is beautiful with a 360 view, comfortable and spacious. Great location! Would recommend anyone staying in SD to visit this home! The neighbors were friendly. I especially appreciated the parking and safety!

Many thanks to Renee for being such a great host! We were extremely happy with our stay. Everything was as described, the location was perfect, and the house was quiet, clean and comfortable. Only thing to note is that the driveway is very steep! If you plan on parking on the street, make sure you are able to climb a short, sharp incline to access the home.
