Evan’s place is immaculate — high-quality from top to bottom with great attention to detail throughout. The beach is right across the street, complete with bonfire pits! Restaurants and a market are just a 2-minute walk away, which made everything super convenient. The house entrance is actually on Alpine Street, even though the address is on E Cliff Dr (where there’s no stopping), so it was a bit confusing at first — but easy enough to loop around and figure out. We all loved our stay and can’t wait to come back!

We had an amazing trip with our daughters family! We all absolutely loved the house and the area, and can't wait to come back and stay again!!! Janet was more than willing to do anything to make our stay perfect! It was my 50th birthday and she even hung up Happy Birthday banner for me :-) Thank you, Janet for everything! We really enjoyed your home and can't wait to stay again!!!!!

Very clean and fully functional house. On the beach. Peaceful surroundings.

Jim was extremely friendly and kept out of the way - that is he out doing his activities and when our paths crossed we chatted about things. The place was clean and all our needs were met without any problems. We plan on returning next year.

We stayed here for some relaxation time with the family (adults and kids) during my kids Spring Break. We have stayed at Pajaro Dunes before and my kids have been excited to come back. Stacy’s home did not disappoint. Location of home to beach is next to none. Views from the living room are amazing. We stayed during great sunny weather (except for when we left was a down pour lol). Got to watch sunset from the backyard with was very nice. Inside the home was nice. Ping pong table was a hit. Pool table was fun too, a bit worn but that was noted in description and didn’t cause no issues. The kitchen was very well equipped with good quality pans and utensils. No issues with any cooking. Sleeping arrangements were great. Having the multiple bathrooms are a plus. All in all Stacy’s home was perfect for my group. We all had a blast in the home and at the beach. Kids did not want to leave. Thank you for letting us share your space!

First time staying at this area and it was very peaceful. The view from our room was beautiful and exactly what we were looking for. Megan was an awesome host and would definitely come and stay again.

The house was lovely and the location was perfect for us. We enjoyed being so close to the beach and walking to local restaurants. The house doesn’t have a dining table but we used the card table provided in the garage and that was fine for us. We would definitely return!

It's a beautiful home and location. I love the view from every window indoors. The beds are comfortable, too. We had a chance to enjoy the hot tub and sauna. I definitely recommend this place.

Dania’s home was lovely! It was a wonderful place for a relaxing weekend away. It’s about a 15-20 minute drive into town from the home. The drive to and from town goes fast and is well worth the isolation and peace you get at the home. If you are a light sleeper you may want to bring an eye mask as the wonderful windows let in lots of wonderful natural light!

The condo was great. We had an issue with the master bathroom shower but Bjorn took care of it right away the same day that it was noticed. The location of this condo is perfect. Right on the ocean and within walking distance for dining, shopping, and several things to do on the ocean. Would recommend this condo to anyone.

We have been coming to Pajaro Dunes for 37 years. Our family loves it. This house needs some attending to. In one of the downstairs showers, the soap dish on the wall was broken. You need to be VERY VERY careful. My nephew cut his thumb and needed to get stitches. I was told I could check in before the rain started, but the office hadn't unlocked the house on their end. I had to drive back to the check in office and ended up getting wet while unpacking the car. Not the end of the world, but a little irritating. It took quite awhile to figure out the space heaters, some did not work. Kitchen pots and pans need updating - bring your own!! We had a great time and lots of great memories continue for our family.

Loved this place very much! We enjoyed our wine and snacks and movies in the living room and 3 rd bed room which both have nice views and deck in front. Too bad the trip was short and will go back again!

This was our third stay at Monterey Dunes and our first during winter. The home was very cozy and perfect for our family on four adults and two grandkids. Kitchen was well supplied and updated quality appliances. Beds were comfortable with great mattresses. Beach was just steps away although we we there during tide warnings so stayed close to the dunes. Great spot for relaxation, a very private beach, and home cooking. Not the best spot if you’re looking for fancy restaurants.

Such an amazing stay! Could hear the ocean waves clearly while hanging out in the living room, kitchen, and balcony. The view of the ocean is beautiful as well. Can lay on the couch next to the fire and watch the peaceful waves. The house is very clean and we were able to prepare breakfast and lunch easily with all of the kitchen tools handy. We made dinner reservations every night at Venus which was delicious. A short walk from the doorstep and we were at the beach. Crystal had great instructions on how to use the home and also responded quickly. Linens were comfy and clean. Hot water was great for showers. Washer and dryer worked great. Floors were clean. Can’t explain how much we appreciated this space! Thank you Crystal for sharing your home with us!

What a great location! We loved our girls' weekend for four, less than a ten minute walk to Natural Bridges Beach and also the Monarch Trail, it was so ideal. Amazing two mile walk on the cliffs' above the ocean one morning to the Lighthouse, complete with a Saturday craft fair. Grocery stores within five minute drive. Home is very bright, clean, cozy, and comfortable. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Santa Cruz.

Place was great--fit our needs perfectly. Recommend opening windows at night to bring in that beautiful fresh air. Our 4.5 yo was absolutely over the moon by all the activities outside in the yard-- very well equipped area for adults and kids alike! The sand toys were also a hit--we loved walking to the beach and appreciated how well written the instructions were. Just took a photo of them and went on our way. Only bummer is the lack of sidewalks in Aptos, but most cars do seem to watch for walkers. Marianne's ice cream is great, and tamales across the street also fantastic. Weather cooperated and the easy access to Santa Cruz and Monterey made this location ideal. Colm was a great host--responded immediately to any questions I had. Very thankful for this spring break trip--we truly feel rejuvenated!

This is a very comfortable and stylish house, with 2 bedrooms and 2 outdoor sitting areas. It is a short stroll to the beach where there are several restaurants and a coffee shop. We had a wonderful weekend getaway and would love another chance to stay there.

The home looks just like the pics and is very well stocked with nearly everything you need (or forgot). The view from the deck is amazing on clear days. Overall, highly recommend. This place was beautiful and walking distance to The Boardwalk. Very clean with an airy feel. Nice amenities, great closets and lovely jacuzzi bath in the master. Definitely recommend!!

This house on Beach Hill was exactly as advertised. The location is great; close to Main Beach, the boardwalk and the pier - generally central location. The residence is clean and well put together. I like the open kitchen and that the social space is on the second floor and the bedrooms are on the first floor. It was a wonderful place to relax and have a vacation in Santa Cruz.

The house was in the best location, just a short walk from the Point (less than a block). The sound and smell of the ocean were clear from the time we stepped out of the car. The house is surprisingly spacious. From the outside, it looks like a little charming beach cottage, but once you enter the gate, you are greeted with a hidden wonderland with all the amenities you would expect at a fancy home. The private yard has a private outdoor shower nook, hot tub, outside fire, and TV. The outside space is well designed and laid out for living and entertaining in the warm evening sea breeze. The covered space includes outdoor couches, a fireplace, and a large outside dining table steps away from the gas barbecue (which worked great) to cook dinner on our first night. The magic continues inside with very clean, sleak and extremely functional interior spaces. The living room and kitchen are open to each other and warm and inviting with plenty of comfortable seating. Its amazing all around!

En easy breezy (literally, great ocean breeze) for a family of 4 teens and two parents to stretch out and enjoy one another and our own spaces. Hot Tub was a crowd pleaser. Steve was a clear communicator.
