Had a getaway to the house for family day weekend. House is an older home but very large! It works perfect for our families as large rooms, large kitchen and large dining areas. We have lots of young kids and there is lots of room for them to run and play. The space is great and I think if you aren’t looking for a fancy updated house you would enjoy the space.

Such a great place to stay for a group. Lots of room and a great space! Lake front view was fantastic. Has all the supplies to make you feel right at home. Highly recommend this place for your next stay! 4 beds were doubles, but still accommodated us all comfortably! Pictures don’t do this place justice! It was an incredible stay!

We had a lovely stay at Marcela's place. It was a perfect location that was close to the city, but able to disconnect from the world with the limited service. We wanted a weekend to reset after some exhausting work and this place was great. Our daughter and dog loved the nearby park and seeing the deer walk by. The backyard was quite large and fenced in, however it is a little steeper than expected. If you're wanting to stay in and relax, bring some books, games or download movies before coming as there is no wifi. Overall we enjoyed Marcela's place and our first trip to Silver Sands, and would gladly stay again.

We greatly enjoyed our stay over the Christmas holiday. Scott had decorated the place so lovely, even with a live Christmas tree and Christmas lights outside. The place was spacious, peaceful and just right for our family while we were visiting our parents in nearby Barrhead. The kitchen had pretty much everything we needed, and the place was super comfortable. We will be back.

Enjoyed our stay very much. The house easily accommodated our group of 12. We traveled there for a weekend of ice fishing , and weren’t disappointed. Quick access to the lake, beautiful area. Would definitely return.

Place is as described, spacious for a Large group , lots of bedrooms comfortable beds No AC but relatively cool during our stay and fans everywhere so no issues. The water isn’t all that clean for swimming nor is there much of a beach but that isn’t really a host issue, more just the lake itself. We did a lot of water activities just no swimming. They had everything you need in the kitchen, lawn games, a canoe, pedal boat and a Paddle board. Very responsive host who had staff close by if you needed anything. We brought our own drinking water.

Staying at Wendy’s cabin was an unforgettable experience. Her incredible generosity and kindness truly set the tone for my solo retreat. We had a wonderful winter getaway at Eric & Listina's Zen Lakeview Retreat! Even though it was a brisk -30C in Gainford this weekend, the cabin was cozy and warm. The firepit was an absolute lifesaver and made our evenings truly magical - perfect for roasting marshmallows and enjoying the snowy scenery. The lake looked beautiful, and while we couldn't take advantage of the paddle boats in this weather (understandably!), we can only imagine how amazing it would be to use them in the summer. We're already dreaming of coming back for a warmer visit! The cabin had everything we needed, and Eric and Listina were great hosts, ensuring we had a comfortable and relaxing stay. Highly recommend this spot for a peaceful retreat, no matter the season!

Every thing that was mentioned was truly the dream !The getaway from bc was very memorable!We wanted to do Ice fishing but we were so busy meeting and visiting with family !We enjoyed everything possible that you could even imagine !Free everything exceptional wifi but that surely isn’t an issue !Unwind and be you true self !High five to Anita and her project manager Candace !Never second thought this cabin ,feels like home away from home !Book your next peaceful unwinding getaway at this cabin !

We stayed at Jean's place for a family Christmas gathering. The cabin was beautiful and perfect for our family. Jean is an exceptional host and ensured all the details were perfect including plenty of chopped wood, a Christmas tree and decorated home. The kitchen was well equipped for everything we needed to make a turkey dinner. We will definitely be coming back again.

This was our third time staying at Briana’s and it never disappoints ! The location is amazingly peaceful and perfect for a great weekend away. We enjoyed a fun filled memorable New Years with our families. Thanks for being such a great host ! Highly recommend this location!

This cabin offers a very peaceful and quiet stay. The location is scenic, the view at the back of the cabin is beautiful. Regan is such a wonderful host who is available and helpful! There is everything you could possibly need for your stay and so much space. Regan has done an excellent job ensuring you have a lot of amenities and things you need. It was perfect for kids and our family. We absolutely loved our stay and will be back for sure. It was such a comfortable place to stay to get out of the city. I would highly recommend this cabin not only for the great host but for the cabin and surroundings itself.
