I have visited Gangtok several times, and previously, I preferred hotels near MG Marg. This trip was different; I planned a road trip to Sikkim with my wife and daughter, so I needed a place in Gangtok with parking. This property met all my requirements, so I booked it. Upon check-in, my expectations for Airbnbs and homestays were exceeded. The cleanliness was exceptional, every item was perfectly placed, and all amenities were provided. The mountain view from my room was breathtaking. We were welcomed with tea and delicious homemade cookies. We had pre-ordered lunch, and our host prepared a wonderful chicken dish with homemade chutney, which surpassed my expectations. Our host was incredibly helpful. Whenever I return to Gangtok, I will certainly book this property again.

Sherab and his father felt like very good human beings. So was their home and all the rooms that were allotted to us. Everything was clean and sufficient toiletries and towels were provided. Our stay at their place can't have been any better.

What an amazing stay, we couldn’t have wished for a more secluded and private week. The food was amazing and we were completely taken care of. The rooms were spacious, the food was delicious and we loved playing badminton out in the garden. We cannot thank you enough for such a great stay and would highly recommend to anyone considering of staying at La Ipsing.

nina's place is very suitable for those who want to be very closed to MG Marg (the main avenue in Gangtok) and be nearby good restaurants, cafés and shops. she helped us a lot being very kind and helpful at all the time. if you are traveling as a group and want to see and enjoy gangtok you should definitely book her place.

Soyang's a great host. Very responsive & clear in communication. Entire staff was very helpful and supportive. They even arranged a cute date night setup on a very short notice. Had a promising and relaxing 2 night stay. Loved the place & vibe. 😊

We had an amazing experience! Karma our host is one of the most humble and wonderful person we’ve met. Our four-day stay was fantastic, with delicious home-cooked meals prepared by Aunt. The view from our room was mesmerizing, and the location had great connectivity with local taxis and cabs. Karma was incredibly helpful, assisting us with travel arrangements and guiding us throughout our stay.

Sangay and Karma are great hosts. They take only one group at a time so we (me nd my partner) had the place to ourselves. You can requests the hosts for meal (for a very nominal price) incase you cant head out. The place looks exactly like in pictures and you will have a cozy feeling. The studio has a good vibe. Books to read and art of other students can be seen and enjoyed. Pets on the property are a great bonus.
