My family of four stayed here for two nights for a quick getaway and to get in a winter hike, and we were not disappointed. The house was very cozy (and sparkling clean, as well.) We loved the freestanding gas fireplace and the hot tub. It was so convenient to be able to walk out of the house and hike through the state forest (we did the Choke Creek Falls Hike, it was a fairly easy hike even with ice/snow on the ground with a ten year old.) Would love to come back in the warmer months to swim in the river!

The place was in a perfect location for us and a lot of conveniences nearby. The house itself is a bit of a work in progress, but spacious and comfortable. Yoel was very attentive, responsive, and easy to work with.

The place was great & the hosts were very helpful and quick with responses if we had any questions. Also extremely kid friendly, will definitely be staying again when we’re in the area! Highly recommend 10/10!!

We had a great stay at Serhii's place. We had more than enough room, with three levels of living space. The location is about a 22-minute drive to Jack Frost Ski Mountain, our main destination. Otherwise, we hung out at the cozy house with the fireplace. I appreciated the clear communication and instructions before and during our stay. We did not use any community amenities, but I'm sure they are great during the warmer season!

We had some guys traveling for work and they were able to stay here for the entirety of their job. Tadeusz was very hospitable and accomodating. If you're looking for a nice quiet place to stay, with a friendly host this is the place for you. Thanks again Tadeusz for everything! :)

My boyfriend and I came here for our anniversary and we had an AMAZING stay. The bed was so comfortable and everything was super clean and spotless. The location is fantastic. It’s a super steep and long hill to walk up but it’s doable and super easy to drive to the town. We would definitely stay here again!!!

Such a beautiful place for my girlfriend and I to have a little getaway. We loved having a full kitchen and making ourselves breakfast/dinner! Jonathon responds very fast and is very helpful! Would definitely stay at another one of his sites!

My husband and I took our first trip to Jim Thorpe with our 3.5 month old son, and this space was absolutely perfect for the occasion! There was plenty of room for my son’s pack and play next to the bed. Everything was clean and incredibly comfortable. The location is only minutes away from scenic hiking and downtown! We made memories with our son that will last a lifetime. I would 1000% recommend this place to anyone looking for a wonderful and quiet location to stay in Jim Thorpe!

I had a great time staying at Silvia's place. It was near an Indian Grocery Store and Mansour's, which is a nice restaurant. It's not very close to the downtown area, but a quick drive away. I liked the fridge, it was very large and clean. Everything in the apartment seemed very new. The TV was nice. The dining area and seating areas were also very nice and large.

Well even though we only stayed for one night. We found the place very cozy comfortable and clean. An the friendly deer was a added bonus.

This cabin is absolutely beautiful. Our family felt right at home upon arrival and we settled right in. The kitchens are fully stocked and organized with everything you need. The cabin was very very clean, beautiful linens, cozy pillows, and comfortable beds. I think we spent as much time on the porches as we did inside, the porches are large and situated with wonderful views of the woods and surrounding propery, you can hear the creek from both porches. I felt myself feeling like I was going to miss this cabin and the area as we got closer to our departure. The woods surrounding the cabin are made for exploring and the creek is magical. We would love to return with more members of our family to enjoy this place, as there is plenty of room and lots of spaces for everyone to have there own place if needed for work or quietness. We thank you so much for the week we spent here, it was quite special. Very SIncerely, The Flanders Family

We had a great time here. This is a dog and kid friendly stay with board games, TV and most kitchen supplies. The house is cozy and we had a lot of fun! Don is super helpful, responsive and considerate. Great place to chill with friends and family!

I was looking for a quiet place to spend my girlfriend's birthday weekend. After looking at several options we decided on Julie and Catherine's cabin and it was definitely the best choice as every single review on Airbnb falls short when describing this place. Julie and Catherine were always in touch and made the whole process simple, clear and well detailed. The cabin is in a very quiet place surrounded by forest where on several occasions we had deer wandering around the cabin. The cabin itself is very cozy, comfortable and well equipped with everything you could need during your stay. We loved enjoying a good wine by the fireplace, having breakfast in the dinning table watching the snow fall outside as well as having coffee on the deck listening the wind through the trees. If you are looking for the perfect getaway to relax and enjoy a place full of good vibes, this is definitely it. El Bosque is beautiful. Quiet. A lovely stay We will definitely be back soon!!!!

We had such a beautiful weekend at the cabin! No detail was not thought of- from kitchen items, to games, to books, cleaning supplies and on and on. So cozy and felt like home immediately. Kirk was so communicative and helpful, we will definitely be back!!

Absolutely loved our time at the cabin. Small but absolutely perfect. The place had such a welcoming atmosphere and all the small details did not go unnoticed. Jj is a great host and it’s reflected in the space. This was exactly what I was looking for, we spent our whole time grilling, sitting by the fire, and watching the snow fall watching our favorite shows.
