We stayed for a family event in the area. Steamtown is closeby and offered a few hours of free education and entertainment. Convenient to local grocery stores and Walmart. The kitchen was well stocked with silverware, pots and pans. New appliances throughout. Driveway could park 3-4 cars smaller size vehicles, and there was ample and free street parking available. Beds are comfortable and house and neighborhood is quiet. The living room and upstairs kitchen provided a nice area to hang out and relax together. The dining room was well used on our visit as we shared many meals around the table. The porches and balcony were nice amenities to relax outside and enjoy the early spring-like weather when we visited.

Allyson was very responsive & accommodating. If I had a question she would respond in a timely manner. Her home was lovely. It was very spacious and the bedrooms were all really nice & cozy. We had some issues with the jacuzzi but Allyson was very attentive & helped resolve the problem quickly. The only thing that I felt that the house lacked was some lighting in the back yard because it was too dark outside if we wanted to use the Jacuzzi. Besides that everything worked out lovely & we loved staying at her home. Thank you Allyson!

She was a really good host, if we needed something she responded immediately. Was a good space to hang out with friends and stay the night. Definitely will go again sometime

Was a fun & relaxing stay here for sisters weekend, Maryanne responds very quickly and suggested places to eat as well, the game room is a plus, very comfy and clean.

Clean and large home

The place was in a perfect location for us and a lot of conveniences nearby. The house itself is a bit of a work in progress, but spacious and comfortable. Yoel was very attentive, responsive, and easy to work with.

Great stay my family enjoyed it tremendously. Very clean. Fireplace was perfect. We were expecting wood burning but the gas fireplace was even better. Kept the whole house warm and didn't need to tend to it. it was perfect. My family enjoyed the frozen solid lake. We cooked all our meals. House was stocked well (utencils,pots and pans) One thing bring a griddle for pancakes and French toast that was the only thing missing. Looking forward to booking with Michael next year. Thank you! Overall 1 to 10 our stay was an 11.

We had some guys traveling for work and they were able to stay here for the entirety of their job. Tadeusz was very hospitable and accomodating. If you're looking for a nice quiet place to stay, with a friendly host this is the place for you. Thanks again Tadeusz for everything! :)

Linda’s place was a wonderful retreat for our family of three for a long weekend. The house was as advertised- well furnished and was peaceful (especially in the snow!). We appreciated the clear communication and also the kid-friendly touches that made traveling with a three year old easier. Would love to visit again— thanks for the great stay and memories!

Nick’s place was perfect for a nice peaceful weekend getaway. His house was clean and matched the pictures. There are many beds which accommodated my large group very nicely. The house is a short drive down the hill to the lake and a short drive to the indoor pool. Nick was a great host and was very responsive: We had a great stay and would definitely come back again.

What an amazing stay start to finish! The place was easy to check in and even easier to check out with no requirements at the end! Host offered late check out before we even asked! Kitchen stocked with EVERYTHING you might need from blenders, pots and pans to spices. Beautiful surroundings and great views with lots to do! Will definitely be back in the summer!

We felt right at home! Private area with beautiful views & super close to amenities at the community lodge. Loved using the fireplace at night, super comfortable & cozy highly recommend! Shoutout to our hosts for being extremely attentive & accommodating during our stay the weather hit -7 which led the water to freeze. The host was on top of it immediately & we felt very taken care of!

We do an annual trip and I have rented several houses in the Poconos. Mostly Big Bass Lake. Joanna’s home was by far the best we have rented. House itself was perfect. So much to do. Joanna thought of every single detail to make our stay comfortable. Aside from the house, Joanna was so accommodating. Any question I may have had was answered before I asked it. We were offered complimentary early check in and late check out.

This is the second time we have stayed in Anita’s house. It is clean, exactly as described, and convenient for our needs. Anita is friendly and quick to respond. We would definitely use this location again.

We would definitely stay again at Daniel’s place, Whispering Acres. Things to note are the HOA not allowing any daytime guests beyond the houses maximum sleeping occupancy. Daniel was very responsive however and helped us add a guest to our house at the last minute as well as sending a handyman late at night to resolve a drain that was decently clogged. The property was really nice inside and out with lots of string lights and a great hot tub! Beds and pillows both comfy. Bring a sleeping mask - windows at the ceiling in two main bedrooms did not have a curtain.

We were absolutely thrilled staying at Katy’s home for Valentine’s Day Weekend. A beautiful area with beautiful scenery and great eats! The home was spotless and gorgeous and we couldn’t have asked for a better stay! Would love to stay here and visit again!

I was looking for a quiet place to spend my girlfriend's birthday weekend. After looking at several options we decided on Julie and Catherine's cabin and it was definitely the best choice as every single review on Airbnb falls short when describing this place. Julie and Catherine were always in touch and made the whole process simple, clear and well detailed. The cabin is in a very quiet place surrounded by forest where on several occasions we had deer wandering around the cabin. The cabin itself is very cozy, comfortable and well equipped with everything you could need during your stay. We loved enjoying a good wine by the fireplace, having breakfast in the dinning table watching the snow fall outside as well as having coffee on the deck listening the wind through the trees. If you are looking for the perfect getaway to relax and enjoy a place full of good vibes, this is definitely it. El Bosque is beautiful. Quiet. A lovely stay We will definitely be back soon!!!!

This place was great for our family for a few days. It’s a nice quiet neighborhood and the house had all we needed!
