We greatly enjoyed our stay at Jason’s place! The pool and hot tub were a HUGE hit with the kiddos. Super comfortable beds and plenty of space to relax during our week in San Antonio! Conveniently close to downtown spots as well!

My family and enjoyed our stay very much. We booked the house for Christmas and when we arrived the house had a beautiful Christmas tree set up and throughout the house was holiday decor. This home is in a perfect location for enjoying all of San Antonio. We were able to easily walk to the Riverwalk and found nearby grocery shopping, plus it’s convenient to the Pearl which is a must-do when visiting. The home itself is unique and well-appointed with comfortable furnishings and stunning artwork. Any time I head to San Antonio, I’ll be sure to check for availability of this home.

The home was comfy and quaint. Loved the antiques. Although it took a minute to get used to the shower, but overall, a great experience.

First time staying in San Antonio with the family. We wanted to come close to the Fort Sam base and it was right around the corner. 7 mins exactly. The house was beautiful. I can’t believe the age of the homes around here. The space, the kitchen, all wonderfully put together. Very comfortable beds and furniture. Close to downtown, food truck parks and many restaurants. A place for families or friends to get together. Thank you 😊

We really enjoyed our stay here! It was quiet and cozy and a good place to relax after a busy day. Definitely thankful that we were able to have our dogs. Big, secure backyard was nice! We would stay again!

We had a great stay, enjoyed the heated pool and was very relaxing after a long day in seaworld. Tiffany was very responsive.

This is a great place to get away. The house had perfect amenities. The linens were extremely comfortable and everything was clean. The dipping pool was fabulous and perfect size. The location is ideal for all the things around town. Steve and Cindi was very sweet and easy to talk too. The only thing I could say is that the ac unit did not blow very well. Besides that, everything was great.

This was our second visit to the River House and once again, it was a treat! We just LOVE this home. The decor is so vibing! Very…eclectic? Bohemian? Perfect, for our family. There are only two possible drawbacks to be aware of: both bathrooms are only accessible through a bedroom and aside from one king bed, all the rest are twin beds. We love San Antonio and are so glad we’ve found the River House to use as our “base”!!

The cottage is perfect for a a little city getaway. Despite the fact that it is in the backyard of the main house, it does feel private and the host is very much mindful of the desire for privacy from the guests. The hot tub and pool literally 5 steps away from your front door are a really nice perk and it’s a shame the weather did not cooperate in my time there but I’m definitely planning to come back and take advantage of that next time I’m town in better weather! The neighborhood was well maintained and quiet. Definitely a great place and the perfect alternative if you want to stay in San Antonio and don’t want to be in an apartment building.

This was our third visit to this property. It perfectly matches our unique needs when traveling with our group. If we return to San Antonio next year for our training trip, Lionel will be our first call for housing.

We have stayed here multiple times and have always enjoyed the beautiful and relaxing house and outdoor setting. We feel right at home. There is plenty of space and a kitchen with all the appliances and tools that you might need. Although we really only make breakfast as there are lots of great restaurants and take out places in San Antonio. Perfect Hosts!
