Nos alojamos dos chicas por una noche. El lugar està muy aislado para llegar, però a la vez eso es lo que le hace tan especial. Nos acogieron super bien Tsetan y su madre. La comida de su madre estaba riquissima! Y Tsean tiene muy buen ingles, lo que nos permitio poder hablar con el de muchos temas interesantes profundamente. Es un hombre que sabe mucho! Todo muy limpio en la casa. Tsean nos hico un fuego por la noche y nos enseño los alrededores con mucho gusto, fue muy atento con nosotras, nos hizo sentir muy comodas y cuidadas. También se ofrecio genuinamente a llevarnos a Saspol para coger un bus y volver a Leh. Las únicas 3 cosas que queremos remarcar es que si quieres ir a este lugar mejor ir con tu vehiculo o a pie, llevar agua o estar preparado para beberla del rio aunque esta muy limpia y tener en cuenta que la comida riquissima de su madre no entra en el precio. Volveriamos a repetir sin duda! Ha sido una increible experiencia, no ha acercado a su dia, su cultura y religion.

Saurabh is a fabulous person and an amazing host. The property was more beautiful then the pictures uploaded. The ambience, space, bedding, kitchen everything was The best. The place is neat & clean, very peaceful & very aestheticaly decorated.His love for plants was unmatchable. His approach was quick & responsive. We appreciate all the efforts put by him ensuring our comfort. Looking forword to visit again. Highly recommended..

The stay is located right in the middle of Jispa, with a very nice space in front and a short walk to the Bhaga river. Vaishali helped us out with the location beforehand, which was useful. Rishu, the caretaker, was always available and courteous. Would highly recommend visiting during the autumn months, as the stay is surrounded by lovely views and it is not too cold. Was definitely worth the price and the stay resembles the pictures on the app. Much to love if you are looking for a quaint and peaceful place to halt.

One of the biggest reason to go this place would be because of the two people you find there, Anish’s parents. They will make you feel right at home, be it their homemade food, their helpful nature or lovely stories about the place. The stay is located in an off beat location after exiting the Atal Tunnel. It is not too far from the Sissu Lake, there is a shortcut to go there. But there is no feasibility of a cab without giving at least a day’s notice, so plan accordingly. There aren’t any restaurants, food shacks or cafes nearby, not even for snacks. So be prepared to be cut off entirely from these things unless you bring them yourself. Do try out the food that aunty makes, it is AWESOME! Other than that, there isn’t a lot to do here, just chilling and being one with nature, that’s all.

Homestay with amazing views

Oh my God!! If u are visiting Padum on the way to Leh or Zanskar I would highly highly recommend this homestay. Its a traditional Zanskari style home with all facilities like electricity, hot water and great views. But the thing that stands out the most is the host. Mr. Urgain is a gem of a person who could probably write a book about his personal experiences. He made us feel right at home and his stories abt trekking, his skying school, his travels and the local traditions made our trip complete. The cherry on top is his food and travel recommendations. He treated us with such simple homemade local delicacies that we never wanted to leave. I would 100% go back to stay at his place just to enjoy his company. Totally worth it...

The location was easy to reach, check in was smooth. The support staff (Mannu) took care of all our needs. The food at the listing restaurant was really great, special thanks to the staff to go out of the way and make dessert for us though it was not in menu. Property was as described and clean. Much recommended for group stay.

Saurabh has been a very nice host to us And this property is absolutely amazing and I have no words to describe how much you will enjoy staying in this cabin , for anyone who is looking for some time off and want to spend a private vacation on the hills , This is the perfect property with a great host Me and My partner had an amazing time there and We are willing to go back again very soon Its very near to the main tourist attractions and the market aswel Moreover He offered us a private rooftop and a bonfire plus. Very accommodating place as it also has a kitchen for a long term tenant I will highly recommend this property and it’s worth every money spent to rent and live in here.
