Der Aufenthalt bei Louie war total nett, freundlich, hilfsbereit und unkompliziert. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt. Wir haben auch von Louie einen tollen Guide vermittelt bekommen. Sehr empfehlenswert.

I adored my time in Batad and the Countryside Inn! From Mullen and Josephine’s cooking to the helpful guides that taught me about their history and culture all while showing me around (thank you Margie, Andrew and Darwin), it was exactly what I wanted. The food was lovely and local, the vistas were exceptional, and it was well worth the extra tricycle ride and hike to the location. All I heard at night were crickets, the perfect symphony for a good nights rest. I will miss the great company (and Puma their cat). If you want to see terraces and get away from the hussel of city life, go here. You’ll be thankful you did! Thank you to everyone who made my stay exceptional! Salamat!

Es war der bester Service den ich erlebt habe, wurde gleich bei meiner Ankunft mit dem Bus unerwartet abgeholt und in die Unterkunft gebracht. Alle waren sehr freundlich und zeigten sich hilfsbereit. Das vegetarische Essen war super und es wurden für mich Touren zu den Reisfeldern angeboten mit allem was dazu gehört. Und es wurde nicht für jede Kleinigkeit wie ab holen oder zum Bus bringen Geld verlangt. Es war einfach wunderbar.

We had a wonderful stay. The home is better than the photos! It was recently built and everything is new. The view from the terrace is really amazing. The master bedroom and bathroom were super clean and comfortable. The host was very friendly and accommodating. We were exhausted from travel and they sent the tour guide over to talk to us about the different options at our request. We were also able to order at the restaurant and have our meal delivered to the room so we could rest. Thank you very much for having us!

We are travelling with a 3 year old and did lots of research about our trip and are so happy we chose to stay at the Countryside Inn. Nisha the host was super helpful and helped us to arrange a lift from the airport at Cauayan to Batad with her Auntie Martha who was lovely. We stayed 3 nights and did two guided walk days arranged through the lodge which were perfect. The location of this property is ideal it’s a short walk from the road head and it must have one of the best views in Batad from its high location. Breakfast is included and sets you up perfectly for the day. There js free coffee all day too. You can pay a small amount to use wifi which is starlink so fast if you can stomach Elon Musk getting the money. Overall an incredible stay we would definitely recommend this place

We loved this place! The apartment is beautiful, with a stunning view and a very clean and cozy atmosphere. Argie, the local host managing the property, was incredibly friendly and always available to help with any issues. The only drawback was the shower – the hot water was inconsistent, alternating between cold bursts and a weak stream of hot water. Argie did his best to address the issue, but it seems to be a limitation of the shower itself. It didn’t detract too much from our overall experience, and we would still recommend this wonderful place, but it’s something to be aware of.
