We had a great stay at Paula and José’s place - thank you. The standout has to be the terrace overlooking the ocean - very peaceful and tranquil at this time of year. It was lovely to watch the small boats going out it the late afternoon. Plenty of space for two people and very comfortable for the cooler evenings. We really enjoyed ourselves and slept well after some long walks. Thanks for everything.

My friend and I stayed a very comfortable week in this Airbnb. Its location was perfect, easy to get to restaurants, walks, beaches, and all the magic places Porches offers. All details were thought of to make our stay meet all our needs. I would highly recommend this condo to anyone seeking a safe, wonderfully appointed, and cozy home away from home.

The accommodation was as described and was very easy to live in. A short walk to the pool took you to the “Swallows” sports bar which was an excellent and extremely well run facility that provided home cooked food as well as a place to sit down over a drink and chat with fellow guests. You can walk to several beaches very easily or just sit on the balcony and soak up the sun. All the equipment worked very well but the mattresses are a bit tired, some electrical sockets need maintenance and we were missing some of the listed items that should have been available though we understand that things do go missing during the season. We asked for more towels but none were available but we do not consider this to be a major matter. All in all we had a very nice time at Hélder’s place.

Die Wohnung ist traumhaft, die Lage ausserordentlich schön, direkt am Meer. Wir haben zu jeder Zeit das Rauschen der Wellen hören können - es war sehr schön. Die Wohnung ist super ausgestattet, mit allem was man braucht. Sehr schön eingerichtet, gemütlich, toller kleiner Balkon, tolle Aussicht. Carvoreiro ist ein wunderhübsches Städtchen mit vielen tollen Restaurants, einem sehr schönen Boardwalk an der Küste, direkt in einer Bucht mit eigenem Sandstrand gelegen. Lagos, Sagres, Faro, Albufeira - alles in guter Distanz, wenn man einen Wagen hat. Alles in allem erlebten wir wunderbare, erholsame Ferien und haben die Wohnung genossen. Eine kleine Anmerkung gibts aber doch: beim Doppelbett ist die Matratze für uns zu weich... nur als kleiner Hinweis, Ersatz wäre vielleicht nicht schlecht.... Sehr schönes Apartment mit seitlichem Meerblick und Parkplatz in der Tiefgarage! Die Unterkunft ist in direkter Strandnähe und zentral in der Algarve gelegen. Sehr zu empfehlen!

The apartment is in a great location and is well equipped, however we thought it was a little expensive compared with others we have rented. Clarified was very quick to respond to any minor issues we had and we enjoyed our stay.

The apartment is in a fabulous position overlooking sea in a small village which had a number of restaurants serving super food. The restaurant next door is excellent but not open on Friday evening or all day Saturday but this could be seasonal. The ‘welcome’ food and drinks package was generous and perfect for at least 24hrs. The housekeeper was welcoming and most helpful. The equipment in the apartment was brilliant. Every kitchen tool you would ever need was available!! The Uber service to nearby local supermarkets was excellent and cheap. Floris was most helpful before we arrived with useful information. We would definitely book again!!

This house was 10/10 - We lived here a group of 7 friends for a week. The view from the house is so beautiful, and there is an amazing pool area and tennis court! We borrowed rackets from the house and played every day. The rooms were beautiful and also the bathrooms. The hosts were easy to get in contact with and very kind. We are definitely coming back!

J’ai adoré mon séjour chez Maria! L’appartement est situé un peu en dehors de Ferragudo, à 5 minutes en voiture des plages. L’endroit est très calme, en retrait de là où vivent les propriétaires. La cuisine est bien équipée, le lit très confortable, une belle vue depuis la terrasse. Maria est très attentionnée : une corbeille de fruits, du chocolat et de l’eau m’attendaient à mon arrivée. Elle a rentré mon linge car il a commencé à pleuvoir alors que je n’étais pas là. Bref, une belle réussite ! Merci pour tout.

Es una casa muy amplia, con zonas reformadas, limpia y muy agradable el jardín. Sofá muy cómodo y cocina espectacular. tiene de todo, hasta freidora de aire! repetiría sin dudarlo.

- Redondezas muito calmas, a casa é localizada muito perto das praias, supermercados, e até a pouco tempo de carro dos sítios mais turísticos. - Casa muito bem equipada, cozinha com vários eletrodomésticos e utensílios, todas as divisões são muito espaçosas, com ar condicionado em todos os quartos e sala e ambiente muito acolhedor. - Zona do jardim espaçosa e muito agradável, com piscina e zona de churrasco. Também há local para estacionamento dentro da propriedade! - Vizinhos extremamente simpáticos e disponíveis, respeitámos as horas de silêncio (como pedido pela Kathleen) e não tivemos qualquer tipo de problemas! - Por preferência pessoal, sugerimos a adição de cortinas blackout, visto as portadas deixarem passar toda a luz (isto para pessoas que preferem escuro para dormir) - Anfitriã super simpática, sempre disponível e responde muito rápido! Como a nossa estadia foi de uma 1 semana ainda trocaram as toalhas a meio da estadia por sugestão da própria anfitriã ☺️

Wir haben zwei wundervolle Wochen in Pedros Unterkunft verbracht – zusammen mit meiner Frau und unserer Tochter. Die Wohnung war einfach großartig: sehr sauber, bestens ausgestattet und mit allem versehen, was man für einen angenehmen Aufenthalt benötigt. Besonders die Betten waren äußerst bequem, sodass wir jede Nacht hervorragend geschlafen haben. Die Lage ist ideal – ruhig und dennoch gut angebunden, sodass wir jederzeit entspannt unseren Aktivitäten nachgehen konnten. Besonders hervorheben möchten wir Pedro als Gastgeber. Er war äußerst freundlich, aufmerksam und proaktiv mit hilfreichen Tipps und schnellen Lösungen, falls wir Fragen hatten. Diese Gastfreundschaft hat unseren Aufenthalt noch angenehmer gemacht. Auch wenn das Wetter leider nicht immer mitgespielt hat, haben wir uns in der Unterkunft rundum wohlgefühlt. Vielen Dank, Pedro, für deine Gastfreundschaft – wir kommen gerne wieder! Klare Empfehlung für alle, die eine komfortable und gut geführte Unterkunft suchen! 😊

Tolles, kleines Häuschen in einer ruhigen Umgebung. Für kältere Tage gab es in der oberen Etage einen Gasofen und ein Heizlüfter. Im Wohnzimmer gibt es Klimaanlage und Heizung in einem. Möchte man nicht jeden Tag am schönen Strand verbringen, ist man auf ein Auto angewiesen. Küche ist gut ausgestattet, mit allem was man benötigt. Wir empfehlen es weiter!

La casa di Nina è decisamente piacevole e curata nei dettagli, oltrechè molto pulita. La definirei a "misura d'uomo" perchè anche se gli spazi non sono grandi sono accoglienti e ci si sta bene. La sera, dopo una giornata di mare, godersi il vento fresco sul terrazzo è impagabile. Il paesino è molto tranquillo ma si raggiungono facilmente le più rinomate località dell'Algarve. Nina è sempre gentile e sempre pronta a soddisfare eventuali richieste. Consigliatissimo!

"Canto dos Buzios" in Carvoeiro is a wonderful villa. Our large family of ten enjoyed the spacious bedrooms, beautiful pool area, well equipped kitchen, tasteful artistic touches, and marvelous tilework. The vila is perfectly located within easy walking distance of every part of town, including great restaurants, spectacular beaches, and the famous Carvoeiro boardwalk. Aurora and Patrick, our on-site contacts, were terrific - immediately available when we needed help, friendly, professional, and attentive to our questions and needs. There were some inconveniences related to electricity outages, which we understand have now been addressed. Aurora and Patrick were immediately helpful and villa owners Beatrice & Daniel were very accommodating. We recommend "Canto dos Buzios" for any family hoping to find a special and unique experience in Carvoeiro.

We loved the village feel location with great restaurants within walking distance and a short taxi ride into Portimao. Quite location and apartment which is located inside a hotel that is not currently in use so no services at the hotel apart from the use of the pool which we had to ourselves almost every day. Lots of sun beds and shade if required. Hotel surroundings very clean and well maintained. Someone greeted us personally on arrival. The apartment had everything required including dishwasher washing machine and hairdryers in both bathrooms. The water was hot every time we required the showers. One minor thing to mention. The veranda does not get direct sunshine at anytime although this could be seen as an advantage if you prefer shade and would be advantageous in the summer months. We would not hesitate to return to this apartment in the future and can strongly recommend it.

Wir haben eine Woche in Martins Ferienwohnung verbracht und uns dort sehr wohlgefühlt. Martin hat uns an der Unterkunft erwartet und uns in Ruhe alles gezeigt, war offen für unsere Fragen und hat uns mit zahlreichen Tipps zur Gegend versorgt. Die Wohnung war für zwei Personen sehr geräumig und gepflegt. Die Küche ist mit French-Press-Kaffeemaschine, Dolce-Gusto-Kapselmaschine und jeder Menge Geschirr, Kochutensilien sowie einem großen Kühl- und Gefrierschrank sehr gut ausgestattet. Für den ersten Snack-Hunger und Durst waren ein paar Annehmlichkeiten für uns bereitgestellt. Im Komplex sind einige weitere Ferienwohnungen, mit denen man sich die Pools teilt. Die Pools waren sauber und auch Anfang Oktober noch geöffnet. In der gesamten Anlage war es ruhig, überwiegend Erwachsene, ein paar Kinder. Die Parksituation an der Unterkunft ist sehr entspannt. Es gibt zahlreiche freie Parkplätze direkt an der Unterkunft. Die Lage war schön. In ca. 5 Gehminuten ist man an der Strandpromenade.

Beautiful apartment, close to the beaches, which are just gorgeous. Also close to the village of Ferragudo, which has lots of lovely restaurants. We ate in Brunch in Rio for breakfast/lunch a few times and really recommend. There is a small supermarket near the apartment which was very useful. Margarida obliged with late check in. Would love to come back! Ferragudo is the most beautiful spot

Ana’s place is a little gem. It was well worth the visit with the kids. The apartment is perfectly situated and setup for a family. The swimming pool was a hit. Ana’s local recommendations are not to be missed, she went out of her way to make our stay memorable, and helped with whatever needs we had. What a stay! We will definitely be back!!!

This place is a marvel. Especially the beautifully terraced backyard with an abundance of flowers and of course two pools gives off oasis vibes. We loved the creative and artistic yet functional components to the home itself. My mom , who is a voracious reader, loved the selection of books! We used the outside kitchen for a bbq and I would consider it a foodie’s dream space. The village itself is vibrant with a bustling central square. The hike on Caminho dos Promontorium was a highlight. Communication with John was excellent. We were surprised by the occasional fierce gust of wind creating a strong draft in the house.. unfortunately a glass panel of one of the decorative interior doors broke.. the cost was shared with the host and resolved amicably. An element to be aware of in this artistically crafted home. We were slightly on guard afterwards but no biggie. Would return in a heartbeat.

The house was a really nice place to spend a few days while in the area - it was very clean and spacious. Nídia was very friendly, accommodating and easy to interact with. We'd definitely come back :)
