Lagos : locations de vacances dans des gîtes à la ferme

Berta is a very helpful hostess who is always available for her guests. The house is very well maintained and has a large garden. It offers a good starting point for exploring the south-west of Portugal. We had a great time and recommend this accommodation.

We absolutely loved our stay. Inge and Theo have done a fantastic job at creating a little haven in the hills. Our accommodation was stylish and felt very in keeping with traditional Portuguese dwellings. The gardens included pomegranate, peppercorn, olive, orange, avocado and almond trees and a range of fresh herbs. Our villa had two terraces and it's own outdoor kitchen area (as well as a well equipped indoor kitchen) and easy access to a shared beautiful large stone swimming pool and sauna. There are around 4 other properties to stay at in the grounds and provision for camper vans. We didn't hire a car and found getting around easy. There are buses to Lagos every 30 minutes (on week days) from the local village which is a 20 minute walk and we walked to the beach which is around an hour away. Taxi's were relatively inexpensive. At the time of writing it would cost between 10 and 14 Euros from Lagos to the villa. Inge was always very helpful if we needed anything.

Tres bon séjour ! Très accueillant, c'est un plaisir d'avoir pu dormir dans le jardin de João ! L'environnement est très reposant, très bon endroit pour déconnecté des grandes villes. Nous nous sommes déplacée qu'en bus ou a pieds ! On nous a laisser de quoi faire un petit dejeuner ! Tres belle expérience ! Encore merci !

We loved this place! The owners were so helpful and friendly. the environment was quiet and location was ideal to discover the region. we would definitely reccomend this beautiful, authentic place!

This is a fantastic place to stay with a superb hostess! It is quirky, spiritual and offers peace and quiet to those that need tranquility. An ideal retreat with stunning mountain views of Monchique. Off the beaten track and a little tricky to find but easy access to beaches, local town of Luz or Lagos should you need. The perfect place! A huge thank you to Ana who really does go out of her way to help you in whatever you need.

This is a quite old furnished country house in a beautiful place near the city. It takes only 10-15 minutes to Lagos. Inside the house you will find everything you need and of course a beautiful view from the outside! Karolina and Max are the great guests. Your vacation will be easy. Our daughter really enjoyed the house because of the hammocks inside and outside the house and a funny second floor.

such a beautiful place to come and relax! amazing scenery all around, totally breathtaking. we stayed in the chapel which was perfect for us, felt private and cosy with everything we could want easily at hand. the decor was beautiful and well in keeping with the surroundings. we couldn't find fault with anything.

Wow! What a place! So beautiful: inside & outside. What a gem! And such a nice and friendly hosts! We really hope to go back to this place anytime soon!

Our stay near Lagos was absolutely magical. Very prompt communication with Ana and Joao. The home is an absolute gem, pairing clean and modern interior with an exquisite outdoor space that makes your stay well worth the splurge. All of the spaces were used and enjoyed, especially the kitchen, pool and tennis court. Very comfortable space, with plenty of room for the six guests we had. Sunsets are stunning on the back patio, and the fireplace was a great way to cap the evening. Traveling to Lagos and other nearby towns is about 15-20 minutes. Two items to beware of, but don't detract from the splendor of our stay - the wifi speed is quite slow (I worked a bit and had trouble with bandwidth) and there are mosquitos everywhere in the house. Those two small items aside, this was a highlight of our family's three-week trip through Europe.

We took a group of adults for a working retreat for a week and this was the most wonderful space. It was well equipped, plenty of space to do workshops and group activities. The rooms are super comfortable with all the amenities. The kitchens are super well equipped and made making group meals really easy. Our host, Nick was very helpful and accommodating. This would be a great home for a large family or group of friends with kids. Walking out to the beautiful views in the morning was an added bonus.

Lugar perfecto para conocer el Algarve, a 10 minutos de las playas del Sur, y a 25 minutos de las playas del Oeste. El lugar y el entorno es muy tranquilo y relajante. The stay at William’s was excellent. We were a group of 3 families (6 adults, 5 children) and we had plenty of space for everyone. William’s renovations are very well done and had many nice esthetic touches. Bathrooms are very clean and modern. Kitchens are well equiped (there are decent knives, which is essential for anyone hoping to cook!). The pond (natural pool?) is very cool. We loved it and definitely recommend.

Fijn verblijf bij Lanny. de kamer was erg ruim en het terrein erg mooi en rustig. De locatie is wat afgelegen van het centrum, waardoor een auto handig is als je er op uit wil. Er is meer dan genoeg parkeerruimte en een uber staat binnen een paar minuten voor het hek. Deze accomodatie zou ik zeker aanbevelen!

So greatful for Ruth and her daughter Rosie. They made me feel at home from the very beginning and even helped me buy groseries and wood the first days, when I didn't feel good. Beautiful quiet place on the countryside, walking distanse to Luz. We rented e-bikes from a local rental and explored the nearby trails. Loved the rustic feeling and the animals and the birds singing in the trees. This is a place for healing and relaxation. Will defenetly come again. Love from Norway

We had a fantastic stay at this beautiful rustic villa with a lot of character. Everything we needed was supplied at the villa and more. Huge kitchen with all accessories for cooking for a large group. Loved all the different seating areas outside. There was so much for the teenagers to do ie swimming pool, table tennis ,bbq area , golf set. Would highly recommend for big families or groups.

A great location for a mini-break! Everything I needed to feel at home, and Carlos is a friendly and pro-active host, recommending wonderful places to visit (by car) For an adventurous drive back to Lisboa, try the route through the mountains: West to Marmelete then head north. A beautiful drive, made more exciting by a few rockfalls!!

just the place we were looking for: huge surrounding with dozens things to do for the kids (chicken, private playground, fruit trees, big patio ...), huge apartment, nice interior, 2 lovely dogs and first of all wonderful hosts (easy going, many recommendations). the house is in the middle of nature. it takes 10 min to get to Aljezur and 20 min to different wonderful beaches. one of the best Airbnbs we ever had been to

Geweldige plek en een fantastische familie om bij te mogen verblijven. We zijn behoudens de nachten om te slapen eigenlijk alleen maar buiten geweest. Regelmatig contact kunnen hebben met de familie en/of andere gasten maar het is ook heel goed mogelijk om jezelf terug te trekken en de rust en/of stilte op te zoeken. De aanwezigheid van de dieren maakt het compleet, de liefde voor de dieren is prachtig om te zien en te mogen ervaren. De ruimte, vrijheid en rust hebben we als erg aangenaam ervaren. Als we zin hadden in wat meer drukte dan was dat op een paar minuten autorijden te vinden. We hebben ons erg thuis gevoeld bij Papoilas en we hebben genoten van de prachtige omgeving en vriendelijke Portugezen. Ondanks de drukte in het hoogseizoen op sommige plekken blijft het erg laidback.

Wir haben uns bei Frank und Femke jederzeit sehr wohl gefühlt. Beide sind tolle Gastgeber und sehr sympathisch. Frank und Femke haben uns viele brauchbare Tipps für Unternehmungen und Restaurantempfehlungen in der Umgebung gegeben. :-) Das Appartement selbst ist sehr geräumig und gut ausgestattet. Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis stimmt hier. Auf dem Anwesen der Gastgeber leben viele unterschiedliche Tiere, die alle liebevoll umsorgt werden. Es war toll diese Tierliebe zu sehen. Nochmals besten Dank!
