The resort grounds, amenities, and view were incredible especially given the price point. It is in the northern part of Kihei which requires a bit (~5 minutes) of driving south to get to some kid friendly beaches, but it gave the place a peacefulness since it was away from the busy heart of Kihei. We stayed with our small children and they loved the pool and the beach for building and playing in the sand. The pull out couch is the only thing I would mention. It was perfect for kids - they don't care what the bed feels like, but I wouldn't book the place if you are putting older kids/adults on the pull out Overall, we had such a great time and appreciate how responsive John was throughout the process. Very nice property, clean and very well located.

Super central spot in Maui to hang out and get to and from other areas on the island! There’s a pool, tennis courts, and a parking lot - quick drive to the airport, and no more than 30-40 minutes from the furthest spots that we wanted to check out to unwind for the rest of our Maui journey after Haleakala. Ample room in the living room, kitchen, and bedroom, and a great WiFi! There’s a basket of tennis balls and rackets, snorkel fins, masks, and even anti-fog. (Loved Ahihi-Kinau Nature Preserve!) Beach towels came in handy to stay dry afterwards too :) truly had everything we needed for a fun, relaxing stay! Make sure to keep tidy and listen to our hosts and don’t let any plates stay overnight as we spotted a couple of ants on a plate we left out by accident 😭 we were warned and it was true, after that we had no issues as we were careful in wiping down surfaces and washing our dishes right away. Very spacious apartment on a beautiful and peaceful property with amenities. Walking distance to the beach and short drive to other beaches and surf shops. The unit had everything we needed like a full kitchen and beach towels, as well as the washer and dryer which came in really handy. Yuana was super responsive and accommodated our requests and questions!

The OG of Airbnb, Derrick's place is unique, fun and close to everything you need for your trip to Maui. If you are looking for accommodations beyond the cookie cutter condo then this is it. Derrick was available in person and by text and was a very gracious host. We highly recommend staying here and look forward to returning to this little slice of paradise.

This was a great condo to stay at for our first trip to Maui. Very quiet. Very clean. Both my husband and I remarked on how comfortable the bed is. If you want to explore the island by car you are perfectly situated. But you also have a very low key beach right in front. We walked the beach for an hour and watched the sunrise every morning. Absolutely perfect.

Brie's AirBnB was the perfect mini vacation for us and our children. Highlights: We enjoyed going out the back patio to the private pool on the property. The AirBnB is on the ground floor which also made it easier to come and go. But the main part is we ALL felt at home. Plenty food places to go to. We went to Nalu's and Kihei Caffe :) We are so very grateful synchronicity brought us to Brie's Airbnb. Mahalo for the last-minute booking!

Very convenient and comfortable, well-appointed. The condo is on the shady side of the complex, which might be an important advantage in the summer months; it was not an issue now, although it was hard to find a sunny space to dry shoes. The general aspect was very pleasant, with very easy access to the beach, which is gently sloped and has calm waves. Easy highway access to drive to other places. The ceiling fans keep the rooms feeling cool; we were always comfortable. The (patio? lanai?) outside the living room was an extremely pleasant place to sit. The instructions warned about ants, but we saw none. Possibly the season, or the fact that we didn't cook much. The one thing I could have wished for was some specification in the description about the hardness of the mattresses. Preferences on this vary; we prefer very firm mattresses and these were somewhat soft, which caused problems for my wife's back.

This home is extremely well equipped with everything you may need. Kitchen tools, speaker to play music, beach gear and towels, it's all there. The house has a beautiful garden and it's a quiet neighborhood. Cassie is very responsive and flexible. She gave us some great recommendations in the area. The location of the house is very convenient, centrally located on the island. Beds are comfortable and so is the living room. If we come back to Maui we will stay here again!

The location was good for us with easy access to the beach and other island sites. House is well stocked with kitchen accessories, beach going toys, towels, chairs, boogie boards, etc. Owners were responsive and communicated well. House was spacious and met our needs.

Scott was a helpful and very friendly host. He gave us a ton of tips and guides on what to do in Maui. His place is so close to the beach that it is highly recommended to walk to the beach early in the morning, around 6am, to get the most out of his location. His place was spotless and clean, with no issues. He has all the kitchen items you needed if you wanted to make a quick breakfast before heading out to the road to Hana, or to the national park! He is such a great host and I will be going back to him when I visit Maui again in the near future. As always, please start your mornings early! Around 6/7am the latest, because Maui is incredible during the early mornings. Scott has a ton of recommendations so he will help you with any advice that you need to really make the most out of your Maui trip. 5/5 stars for Scott and for Scott’s Airbnb. We had a fantastic and memorable stay at Doug's place in Kihei. You can't beat the location--right in Kihei yet set back down a private road and right on the beach. The views out of the windows are amazing, and within a short walk your feet are in the sand, at the ocean's edge where turtles are peaking their cute little heads out consistently. We even encountered a turtle lounging on the beach! The house is stocked with the basics: plates, cups, coffee maker, toaster, nice towels, etc. The beds are comfortable and with the windows open and the fans on, the island breeze keeps the house very comfortable. Doug also has beach chairs and an umbrella for easy lounging. Highly recommend Doug's place!

Green turtle house was perfect. Clean, quiet and in a great location. Both Poni and Rick are amazing people, they treated us like family. We will definitely be staying here again and would recommend to all. 🤙 Poni and Rick

No detail is forgotten! This is the best accessorized and appointed home away from home we have ever experienced. It is a great location, and we like the Lanai that rolls out onto the lawn. We love the short 1/2 block walk to the beach. it is wonderful to have air conditioning and fans. The kitchen is well stocked for any cooking activity and we especially appreciate it that snacks and coffee were waiting for us. We loved the gift of chocolate covered macadamias. We appreciate the superlative attention to detail and the efficient accessibility of the hosts. Mahalo Ashley and Mike!!

My husband and I enjoyed our stay. The home was clean and spacious. The bed was extremely comfortable, and we slept very well. We appreciated the private patio space. This home is in a convenient location for easy walking to restaurants and shops in central Paia. It was hard to leave!

Very well equipped apartment close to the beach! The kitchen has everything you need (toaster, rice cooker etc.). There’s a lot of stuff to do around the area.

Wish we could have stayed longer. Place was so clean, convenient location in the building and easy in and out access to explore the surrounding areas. We felt right at home. Loved the balcony views. Washer and dryer are big and nice, perfect for us between stops on different islands. Kelly was super nice, communicative and responsive! Would absolutely come back.

The owners were so welcoming and proactive. They went above and beyond to ensure our stay was wonderful. They had some uncontrollable maintenance issue arise that they handled immediately and it did not disrupt our trip at all. The building and amenities were perfect. Our son loved exploring the beach and chasing crabs. Our daughter spent the evenings in the pool after our daytime adventures. We will be back and are so grateful to have experienced this slice of paradise.

We loved our stay here! Fabulous view of Kam 3 and the beautiful landscape, homey feeling condo with everything we needed, and very quiet surroundings. We had our 8 month old and eight year old kids and were pleasantly surprised with variety of kids stuff to use in the closet - lots of beach toys, snorkeling gear, boogie boards, high chair, pack and play, and baby bath. The condo was clean and Kris provided very clear instructions for all parts of our stay. We look forward to booking again in the future!

This place is a great find as it is close to the beach and restaurants. The only thing was interacting with the security to get a parking pass. He was an older man who acted very unprofessionally towards me as I was asking for a parking pass. He would give unnecessary comments like: "Put this pass in your car. We live in America, so the driver's side will be on your left." Luckily, I don't get offended easily, but this is just a heads up. Juliana and the location is great though! So the rating is still high and the security does not effect this rating.

The view from the patio was breathtaking! The condo was spotless when we arrived and we found everything we needed for the stay. We had a question about the TV streaming and got a response quickly. The TV is set up for Netflix and Prime Video, but you need to log into your own own account so remember to bring your information. When we were there in the afternoon one day, a couple of big turtles came onto the small beach. If we had been there a week earlier, we could have seen the whales in the bay since it was time for them to head back north. We always found parking right outside the door. It was easy to get our parking permit. When we went into the office to get it, nobody was there but a basket with tags was available. Just fill out the form with your information and take one to use for the duration of your trip. We felt like the location of the condo was perfect for us. Four days gave us plenty of time to see the entire island.

Awesome place to stay. Could not get enough of the view. Nice beach access and pool and hot tub. Location is great not far from many attractions. relaxed environment and the apartment is set up so you can see the ocean view from pretty much any angle! Would stay here again- great spot!

We had a fantastic stay at this well-equipped condo—it was absolutely perfect for our family vacation! The location is unbeatable, with easy walkable access to a beautiful beach, a great pool on-site, and tons of amenities, restaurants, and activities nearby. The condo itself had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. It was clean, thoughtfully stocked, and felt like a true home away from home. The host was incredibly responsive and had excellent communication throughout our stay, which made the whole experience smooth and stress-free. We’d definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a convenient, family-friendly place to stay in paradise!
