Nous avons adoré notre séjour! L'hôte nous a bien renseigné a propos du stationnement. L'appartement était propre et sentait merveilleusement bon! Que dire des cadeaux qui nous attendaient. Nous avons pu dégusté du fromage et de la confiture à notre arrivée avec une petite coupe de vin.

Helder's place is just as beautiful as it looks in the listing. It is very private with ocean views and lots of fresh air. On a clear day, walk up to the upstairs patio facing the coast and take in the fresh air and natural beauty of the island. It's just a short drive from Angra, and an even shorter drive to some of the most amazing restaurants on the island (e.g., Taberna Roberto, Quinta do Martelo). And as if that wasn't enough, Helder was very gracious in helping us with challenges we faced due to some unusually harsh weather during our visit. His proactive and very responsive communication saved the day a couple times. We will absolutely book this home again on our next trip to the island.

Charming home - 1 min walk to beach

What a gem of a place, thanks for sharing the space Sabrina! Conveniently located within walking distance of the beach, restaurants, and groceries. I felt completely at home in Praia by the second day. No issues with parking and excursions around the island were easy to do as the main roads were just a short drive from the house. I didn't spend much time in the house itself as I like to explore, but when I was there I had everything I needed and was quite comfortable, even during a 2 day storm that brought very high winds and rain. Highly recommend!

Primeira vez na ilha Terceira com o nosso filho de 2 anos. A casa , localizada a noroeste da ilha, está muito perto da serra de Santa Bárbara e de vilas tradicionais. Excelente para quem quer fazer caminhadas pelos trilhos da serra e estar perto das facilidades principais. Ficamos na Beer House, com uma vista linda para o mar mas também para os pastos verdes da montanha. Está bem localizada, no entanto ouve-se bastante os carros a passar na estrada em frente logo de manhã cedo. Ouve-se o vento mas estando localizada numa costa mais norte da ilha, isso é perfeitamente normal. Mas a nossa experiência foi ótima á mesma. Adoramos tudo e tivemos o conforto que precisávamos enquanto família. Perto de restaurante muito bons e supermercado. Para quem corre, tem caminhos muito bons da casa ás piscinas naturais, onde correr e cheirar o mar não falta. O Tiago foi bastante prestável e disponível. Alugamos carro diretamente com ele e foi tudo bastante fácil. Recomendo!

Schönes Haus mit einer großartigen Aussicht, auf einer wunderschönen Insel. Wir waren Ende Februar dort, und obwohl es draußen teilweise frisch war, konnten wir es uns drinnen, dank des Holzofens und der Klimaanlage gemütlich machen. Mit Auto waren alle Sehenswürdigkeiten schnell erreichbar. Wir haben tolle Empfehlungen und sogar einen Presentkorb von Carlota und Nuno bekommen und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Victor is a wonderful host! He went above and beyond for us. He made sure we had everything we needed. He made excellent recommendations. He even went looking for me when I got lost! We felt safe and comfortable. The view is the best in the city and you will be elated when you step out on the patio. It is a perfect home base for exploring Angra and the rest of the Island. Despite being in the center of the city, it was very quiet. We were also able to get free parking right in front of the appartment.

Ti Chôa - Casa da Mata

We had a wonderful stay at Ti Choa’s house! It is as beautiful if not more beautiful than the photos. There are lots of hiking trails nearby and a spectacular place to watch the sun go down a few min away by car or a 20 min or so hike. We were delighted to find some Queijadas da Dona Amélia (the famous local dessert) left for us as well as wine and honey liquor to enjoy and enjoy we did. The restaurant that they run is wonderful and a carnivores dream. They raise the animals they serve and the preparation is flawless. Our server Sergio was amazing.. we never saw a menu we just let him take care of everything and everything was incredible. We were delighted to find some Queijadas da Dona Amélia (the famous local dessert) left for us as well as wine and honey liquor to enjoy and enjoy we did. Don’t hesitate to book this place!

Ocean Front/Terraced House

Anläßlich eines Familientreffens haben wir das sehr prominent am Hafen von Sao Mateus gelegene Ferienaus von Elsa Silva gemietet. Schon vor unserer Anreise war sie sehr engagiert in ihrer Kommunikation und hat uns mit vielen wichtigen Details versorgt. Der persönliche Empfang vor Ort war überaus freundlich und die Schlüsselübergabe verlief dank Elsa Silvas Engagement völlig reibungslos. Viele nützliche Empfehlungen und Hinweise rundeten den hervorragenden Eindruck von einem wunderbaren Aufenthalt auf Terceira ab. Das Haus ist sehr gut ausgestattet und die Betten sind sehr bequem. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten befinden sich in unmittelbarer Nähe, ein herrliches Fischgeschäft "um die Ecke" läßt keine Wünsche offen. Wir haben grandiose Tage auf der drittgrößten Azoreninsel verbracht.

This is an adorable cottage in Biscoitos. You will get an authentic feel for the culture of the area. You can drive 1-2 miles to the port for great food and ocean swimming. Also, close by is an awesome bakery, wine museum and grocery store. Hugo and his family are wonderful. We had the time of our lives!

Beautiful, quiet and close to the ocean!

We had a great time at the house. Proteprty is pretty new and well kept. Hugo was very responsive, AC works great and has a dehumidify option which came in super handy since we stayed for almost 3 months in the winter. location is nice, a few minutes walk to the ocean. 2 bars down there and 2 restaurants (vista has great picanha and buzius has great seafood dishes) so it's nice when you don't feel like driving everywhere:) House is located in a very quiet area with friendly naighbours:) i had a great time there and would definitely recommend.

We cannot say enough about our 3 week stay at Pedro’s. The house and property/view were absolutely magical! Waking up to the ocean and watching our kids swing on the swing set while we sipped our coffee felt like a dream. The house was spotless and every attention to detail was present from the decor to the bedding to the cooking tools—they literally thought of everything so carefully and that alone made our stay so easy and accommodating, especially traveling for so long with our 2 young children. Pedro was quick to offer any help and was great at giving us local recommendations for food and adventure (they also have a welcome guide at the house with everything you might need). It was a perfect home base for us to explore the island and we loved coming back to the house each time. We were sad to leave this beautiful and truly magical spot and are extremely grateful to Pedro for making our Azores experience a truly memorable one. Obrigada! ☺️

This was my second visit to Porto Judeau and Canário do Mar. And it was just as amazing, maybe even more so, than the first. The location, right across from the ocean, waves pounding on the rocks below. The communication, always prompt, helpful and incredibly friendly. The house, such a thoughtful modern renovation of a traditional Azorean family home. From the first moment I saw photos back in 2021, I knew I had to stay here. I will definitely be back for visit number 3...

House with 5 bedrooms, Ocean and Mountain views

My family had the pleasure of staying at Maria's home in July for 3 nights. Maria was very responsive with all the questions I had before arriving and made excellent recommendations of places to eat and things to do. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything you need. There was 10 of us and we all fit around the island. There are plenty of bathrooms and lots of room to spread out. A full size washer and dryer was also a bonus. There is no a/c but there was a fan in every bedroom which was much appreciated. The house was beautiful and the views were amazing. It is a little off the beaten path. I would highly recommend renting a car. We rented one when we arrived. It's about a 5-10 minute drive to the beach and grocery store. Maria was kind enough to leave us some fresh fruit and a bottle of wine upon arrival. I would highly recommend staying here if you're planning a relaxing trip to Terceira.
