Such a beautiful cabin in an incredibly property by the lake. The home is spacious and so comfortable for our extended family to hang out, cook and play games. Lots of communal spaces to spend time together, but so many private areas for sleeping and for individual families. The home was incredibly clean and Mark was easy to communicate with. Thanks for the great stay!

An amazing house with lots to do! We had a great time and appreciated everything the house came with (kayaks, spices, paddle boards, fishing rods, extra linens, pots and pans). This is definitely our favorite stay so far.

The Escape Hatch is the perfect get away. It's location is private and quiet but yet it is not far from numerous area activities. The large deck has gorgeous views of the lake and can accommodate all your guests. The house is very well stocked with pretty much everything you will need. The hosts are very responsive and easy to deal with, making our stay very easy and comfortable. Looking forward to our next visit.

We had an excellent stay at Kevin’s for a 3 day weekend with our dogs. The house is comfy and has everything you need, the location is better than we had expected, and the fenced yard for the dogs was everything our city pack needed to unwind. Lots of trees, birds, deer, and big sky to enjoy with an array of outdoor areas and furniture to choose from. There’s a boat ramp down the hill from the property, and they have kayaks available so that you can get out on the lake. If you are planning to kayak I’d recommend either being really strong, or having a pickup to throw them in and drive them up and down the hill. It’s a ways and the thought of carrying the kayaks back up the hill made me ache a little. Might try and figure that out next time :)

Our stay was great. Chad and the rest of the team were very responsive and kind. The place was great.. A perfect quiet area to rest and relax.

Was a perfect place to host Thanksgiving for my kids, grands, and our pups! We had a fun and peaceful holiday. The grands enjoyed the yard games, roasting marshmallows, the hot tub, and seeing the many deer that frequently visited. Our pups enjoyed being included and appreciated all the toys and beds for them. We hope to return in the spring to enjoy the water! Communication, check in, and check out was a breeze. 5 star stay for sure!

As a group of 12 ( adults + kids) the place was perfect for us. We absolutely enjoyed our time at this beautiful home especially the backyard views with the lake were very peaceful.

My friends and I, with our small children, had an amazing and relaxing time at the house. The kitchen was well stocked with all we needed for cooking as a group. The different lounging areas throughout the house were so comfortable to cozy up and relax with different activities. The hot tub was nice to relax in after the kids went to bed. It was super close to Lake Anna and was nice to hang out and walk on the trails. Justin was incredibly responsive and attentive to all our questions and requests. It was great and we are so excited to come back again.

Had a wonderful stay within walking distance to Lake Anna. The house was amazing and perfectly suited for our guests. The home was clean and inviting from the moment we arrived. We would love to come again and stay for a future trip. Highly recommend.

We had a wonderful stay at the cottage. The cottage is completely remodeled and provides a great space for a small family to interact and enjoy the lake. We had a mix of cooking on the Blackstone/kitchen and eating at some of the local restaurants on the lake. Christine and her husband were very friendly and accommodating. We had a wonderful week on the lake. We used paddleboards and rented boats and wave runners from the local marinas. Smores by the fire pit were a bonus!

We had an incredible stay! The host Jae is very responsive. The place is perfect for anyone who loves fishing, kayaking, and water sports. The location is unbeatable, with easy access to the water and all the equipment you could need. The peaceful surroundings made it even more enjoyable. Everything was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. Highly recommend for outdoor enthusiasts—can’t wait to come back!

We had a fun and relaxing stay at Amber's place. We enjoyed using the kayaks, bbq grill and board games as well as taking a tour of the community. There was enough space for my 7 guests.

The cottage was a sweet private space to stay in with beautiful backyard bird sounds to greet me in the morning. Having access to the main home also made me feel so welcome and gave me lots of nooks to explore and food to eat! Easy walk to the town center and 45 min drive to old rag. Truly a perfect stay thanks to Stephen and all the thoughtful touches he’s put in his space.

What a fun long-weekend. We enjoyed the kayaks and we literally spent the whole weekend in the lake. We didn’t even mind that the water was cold, being early spring. The house is really clean and beds are comfortable. The kitchen has the basic necessities and we didn’t have any problem cooking all meals there. We will definitely be back.

This was a great place for our needs! 5 girlfriends drove from 2-3 hours away for a girl's weekend. The layout of the house, kitchen, and living room suited our needs just fine. The beds were comfortable and the house was clean, which is all we ever ask. The were 2 things that were only very slightly bothersome, but not enough to turn us away from this place again. One, there wasn't a lot of lighting available in the living room and we had to get creative with the 2 lamps that were there. The other thing was we didn't realize there wasn't a bathroom in the basement. I am sure if I looked more closely at the photos, I would see that, and again it wouldn't deter us from staying there again, but if we had our kids with us, it would be a hinderance. Overall, it was a wonderful weekend! We enjoyed building a fire in the fireplace while it stormed outside and getting cozy on the couch. There was plenty of space for all 5 of us to spread out, read books, and enjoy each others company.

Absolutely loved it. They upgraded us to a 2 bed,2 bathroom cabin. Omg it was perfect. We loved it so much, we’re coming back in the summer.

We had a cabin with a beautiful view of the water. The hot tub was a lot bigger then I expected. We really enjoyed our stay and plan to come back but this time with our boys as they would of loved it.

Such an amazing stay! This was my first experience with an Airbnb and I am already planning on returning to the cabin with family. So much to do, very clean, and the host was so responsive. 5 stars for sure!

Had a great stay at Shenandoah Crossing- Chris was very communicative and helpful.

We loved the outdoor spaces and the view of the lake from the living room! Plenty of hikes and wineries to go to in the area. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and appreciated their flexibility as well!

We had a fantastic at the cabin and resort! Here are some details: Cabin: came exactly as described. It had all the basics that you could need, but not much more. More than serviceable but still very much a cabin. Having said that, the beds were extremely comfortable. Resort: the amenities and perks of staying at the resort are really hard to beat. access to the pools, the lake and boat/kayaks, equestrian activities, game room, etc. were really great. And we went when the kids pool and playground were under reservation. Host was an excellent communicator, did everything she could to get us in early early and let us check out late so we could continue to enjoy the beautiful day and amenities. We also went into the town of gordonsville twice, definitely recommend the ice house, chicken restaurant and the barbecue exchange. All and all, it was a great trip and we will definitely be back, especially once the renovations at the resort are complete.
