Great place to stay! Beautiful view with extremely easy check out and great communication. Transportation seemed scary at first as it’s in between Pana and Santa Catarina, but if you start walking in whatever direction you want to go, you can find a tuk tuk pretty easily. We got ours for 15Q or less per person every time.

Truly stunning home in an idyllic landscape. I love the raw connection to nature and expansive views of the lake. The hosts were incredibly helpful and responsive - a wonderful stay overall. Would recommend to others ands stay here again!

Une des meilleures expériences Airbnb de notre vie. Le logement était encore mieux que la description et les photos pouvaient le laisser croire. La vue est incroyable. La terrasse est immense et bien aménagée. Nous y avons passé une grande part de notre temps. La cuisine est bien équipée et fonctionnelle. Il y a aussi des sentiers de randonnée qui longent le lac de chaque côté et qui permettent de se rendre aux villages voisins. Notre seul regret est de ne pas avoir pu y passer plus de temps! Merci pour tout.

It was such a beautiful place! with 3 different levels so be ready to go up some stairs. there's a few stairs before arriving to the airbnb but it was worth it. it was about 20 to 25 minutes from panajachel. I'd definitely come back.

I totally recommend staying at this house, the sauna was great and also it was very peaceful since it’s a big house surrounded by nature. Everything was clean and Ricardo was always willing to help. Also the host and the co-host were very friendly and proactive willing to help with everything.

This is a gorgeous air bnb. The host has thought of everything and was very responsive to questions. The caretakers are kind and helpful. Our kids loved the hot tub and all the outdoor spaces. Beautiful landscaping and the lake is breathtaking. I loved the open-air feel. We stayed three nights and wished we could stay longer, it was so comfortable and relaxing. Thank you so much, Ana! que dire...?? merveilleux séjour dans cette maison calme et spacieuse avec une vue top sur le lac et ses volcans. hôtes très reactives,,Miguel, l homme d entretien vient vous chercher sur l embarcadère pour vous accompagner lors de votre arrivée et réponds à toutes vos demandes..si vous parlez espagnol.. vous pouvez demander d avoir une personne qui cuisine pour vous. nous l avons fait pour le petit-déjeuner et le dîner. c'est très agréable..surtout que nous sommes restés une semaine..et que pour faire des courses il faut aller plutôt à panajachel. santa cruz est un village calme et agréable et bien situé pour visiter les autres endroits autour du lac. bref idéal pour nous..on conseille mille fois..

Truly a tranquil oasis. After 2 weeks in another Pueblo on the lake, we treated ourselves to a stay at Casa Valdes. The kids were in heaven in the pool. The kitchen was so well stocked for cooking. Beds incredibly comfortable. Waking up to bird songs out the beautiful windows with breathtaking vistas was heavenly. The walk to the dock to catch a boat ride was easy. Walking up the hill to Santa Cruz was steep but straightforward. Don’t miss a meal at CEPAC in Santa Cruz. The only considerations, which PJ & Stewart outlined very well, is that you must think ahead about meal planning as you are not an easy walk to buy street food easily. Plan to bring provisions (we opted to stock the fridge with fresh tortillas, avocados, lime & salt along with mangos and papayas and were in heaven); make arrangements for Dominga to cook (delicious!) or plan a walk up the hill to CEPAC or a reservation down the dock at iguana perdida. We loved our stay so much!

El diseño de la casa es perfecto para trabajar como Airbnb, cada habitación tiene su propio baño y es muy espaciosa. La casa es hermosa y está cerca del lago donde puedes tomar una lancha para conocer los pueblos de atitlán. Lo único negativo es que los vecinos tienen música a todo volumen desde muy temprano en la mañana hasta la noche. Aparte de eso la casa es perfecta para viajar en grupos grandes.

Gonna was an incredible host! When we arrived (which was earlier than check in), she allowed us to drop off our luggage while we went to go explore the lake and take a trip into Panajachel. The house was beautiful and whenever we needed something, sure enough, there was already printed instructions at the house for help. If we had any questions she was super attentive and responded in a timely manner. We used her recommended private driver, Erick, and he too was incredible. He accommodated all of us very nicely and even gave recs around the Lake and in Antigua. Overall an amazing experience.

El alojamiento es ideal para relajarse ya sea en pareja o con amigos a 7 minutos en vehículo o TukTuk de San Marcos La Laguna, bastante seguro, en la naturaleza. La atención de Cassie es excelente pero la de Sergio es totalmente maravillosa se encarga de que tu estadía sea espectacular.

Came with a group of 5 Freinds … the grounds are beautiful and well kept. Bbq area, pool, hammocks, very serene and the pier is close by … there are lots of stairs so be aware with luggage and walking. We had Claudia and her mother cook two nights for us and the food was amazing… I would have a list of items you will require so they get them for you since there isn’t a store nearby. You are definitely pretty remote. Boat is the easiest way to get around. I’d come back again and explore the other villages/towns nearby. San Juan was fun with lots of shops and coffee and chocolate factories

El alojamiento es increíble, las fotos no le hacen justicia. Todo rodeado de naturaleza y muchas flores. El club donde se encuentra ubicado es maravilloso, tiene fácil acceso al lago, muchos senderos para caminar y ver los paisajes tan hermosos de atitlan y San Lucas Tolimán. Las amenidades son muy buenas, parrilla para asar carne, chimenea con madera para encender fogata, cocina equipada. las habitaciones muy cómodas, el concepto de la casa muy bello. En San Lucas Tolimán te desvías por un camino adoquinado y unos 10 minutos de terracería, Todo el complejo es con caminos de losa y piedra. Hay agua caliente y fría, también hay 2 tinas y 2 espacios para comer tanto adentro como en el jardín. Fácil acceso al lago por medio de escaleras y plataformas para admirar los paisajes. Daniel es muy atento en todo momento. Llevar todo lo necesario, ya que no hay tiendas tan cerca del lugar e incluso hay que ir al pueblo. Recomendaría este alojamiento 100%, estamos encantados y ansiosos de vover.

Amazing views, GREAT little sunbathing patch of grass (a rarity!), Maria was friendly and even started our stay off with a basket of local fruits we hadn't tried yet. We sleep a little hot, so her and her husband brought us an extra fan without us even asking when they heard this to be hospitable. We loved started each morning on her kayak to receive the sunrise (two strong people can get the kayak up and down the stairs from where they left it out for us). The kitchen is small but very functional with a cozy eating area and a small comfortable couch. Even though the whole lake (Tzununa included) has frequent power outages that last 4-8 hours, none of our frozen meets unthawed so the newer freezer/fridge combo worked great for the large amount of food we stored. Beds are comfy and clean as are the showers and bathrooms. They care about their guests!

The Tree House at Robertos place was lovely. Fantastic views, great cabin, comfy bed and good amenities. Migel who looks after the cabana is really friendly and helpful. The Lake side garden is beautiful, a perfect place to relax in nature. I highly recommend staying here. ☀️🌳☀️

We enjoyed our stay here. It was beautiful and really well considered for comfort. We had help checking in as someone came to carry some bags for us which was very necessary as the walk up the hill with bags was very challenging, especially for my parents. Also, I found getting the public boat from Santiago to San Marcos was a bit of a nightmare so I would recommend doing that journey privately if you will be doing it instead of trying to do the public option! I would stay here again but would probably come when travelling with less luggage or make sure someone could help on the way down as well! I would also make sure I brought enough food & didn’t need to leave during the stay as the private boats are expensive. It was mostly very quiet and peaceful but I think we may have been unlucky with having a retreat going nearby with music being played till quite late which carried sound up to the house. I would recommend this spot as a getaway and is very reasonably priced!

By far, the best of the 4 places we stayed in while in Guatemala. We felt very comfortable and were able to get great sleep. We visited with our 4 kids to attend community Spanish school and it was very close by and easy to go back and for the to school. Easy access to town center by TukTuk. Washer and dryer was such a blessing. It was easy to regulate the temp in the house as there were a few windows with screens so we could leave them open without worrying about flies coming in. Would stay again in a heartbeat.

Wow what a place. Front row to the lake and 2 minutes away from the port and town center. Very peaceful. We were Lesley guests after being in a fancy hotel in San Marcos and the stay here was much luxurious for us. Lesly and Manuel are super nice and did everything they can to make us feel comfortable 🙏
